My close family do, but I don’t tell people at my job hahah. I tell them I work on TH-cam content, but I have talked about Goosebumps indirectly with many of them, without mentioning that’s what this main channel focuses on hahah.
2. I don’t really know what else to mention, since I don’t do much outside of work, play games, watch a ton of movies, watch a little tv, and read books hahah.

All those jumpcuts I see in most people’s videos seems to just shield what they’re actually like, behind the scenes, and I just don’t have respect for most people that nag that you HAVE to do that lol. So many TH-camrs talk about TH-cam burnout because they work themselves for twenty hours on a single video, when they could easily make it in the regular time, planned properly, and without the hardcore production value that corporations provide for their content lol.

Hey man, just got around to watching this (we had a baby boy just before Halloween😊 and I've been busy out). Thanks for the love and answering my questions. I too grew up watching and absolutely adore Boy Meets World, such a fun show with so much heart to it. On some other points you brought up in the video I think Dr Maniac Will See You Now is a really solid enjoyable book and all the hate it gets absolutely confuses me. Also the first Avengers movie did suck😂 and Andrew Garfield is my Spiderman too... Oh and I think your voice is awesome, I wanted to do a TH-cam channel but I couldn't get over my hate of my voice so that's why I set up my Insta page instead. P.S. Dude! Congrats on the baby! I'm so excited for you guys! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels that way about Amazing Spider-Man or Avengers--I felt like I was in I Am Legend, when it came to that movie, because even the slightest mention of not liking it sent fanboys into a spiral lol. And yeah, man, I don't understand friends of mine that don't have that kind of relationship with their wife or husband; I was such a loner before God brought Rachel into my life, and now I could never imagine life without her. It's like she completes every moment, you know? It's all of the little things she does that just make life fun and funny hahah. And dude, I still have issues with my voice and the kinds of videos I'd like to make, because it occured to me that my breathing messes my audio-only videos up, so I wasn't happy with the way my videos were turning-out, but I prefer that videomaking process way more than the on-camera one hahaha. Micheal, I want to say this year I been collecting The Goosebumps books lately. Your channel inspired me to collect The Goosebumps books this year. I'll say this when I was a little kid, I struggled reading and didn't know how to read intel I was I was 12 years old, and I collected The Goosebumps books as a kid. Anyways, if you’re a bit curious as to what my answers to the questions I asked you would be, the scariest goosebumps book from the original 62 is currently either Haunted Mask II Stay Out Of The Basement (haven’t finished with all the OG 62, so that may or may not change), my favorite Tim Jacobus cover is The Horror at Camp Jellyjam (gave my nightmares throughout my childhood and still creeps me out), least favorite cover is from Why I’m Afraid of Bees (too silly looking for my tastes), and if I had to adapt a movie out of one of the books, with enough money, resources, and time, it would be Jekyll and Heidi from Series 2000 (but it would be done in black white, and probably have that 1930s old horror movie feel to it, similar to Frankenstein, Dracula, and/or The Wolf Man). Anyways, happy Halloween man

@@its_hayes___ So I did at some trunk or treats at churches I went to, a few years back, but they started getting to the point where they didn’t even give us tracts to hand out, which I thought was annoying lol. Tracts are so cheap, and they were determined they wanted us to TALK to kids on Halloween night, rather than give them something that would plant a seed while they’re not running all over the place like madmen 😂 Now that my wife and I aren’t involved in a church, lately, we didn’t bother buying any tracts to hand out due to not getting trick or treaters almost ever. Plus, the local christian stores we could get our personal tracts from went out of business, and so we’d have to have the forethought enough to order them from the Internet and have them lying around, you know? I don’t know what you prefer to hand out, but I actually think Ray Comfort’s Living Waters tracts are absolutely brilliant-those are my favorites to hand out to people, and my favorite method on preaching the Gospel to people when they come asking about it. Ray taught me a ton. If you haven’t heard of him, you should check his TH-cam out. That guy puts wonderful Christian documentaries out there.

I heard that he researched his role of a drug addict--no wonder he played it so convincingly! I started rereading the original 62 about 2 years ago, I had almost all of them but had to rebuy them. I started with the Haunted Mask, then got some either through buying or getting them for Christmas Presents. I'm currently on book #57. I only need book number 62 to finally be done. Next Onto the Give Yourself Goosebumps series lol.

Happy Halloween Michael! and oh you are the first Goosebumps creators that I have subscribed after getting back in my Goosebumps faze and it's true the 2003 reprints do in fact uses the goosebumps series 2000 logo with "Welcome to dead house" uses the exact same goosebumps logo used in series 2000 color and all I'm surprised not that many people noticed lol.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. That seems to be why doctors are scared to death about the opioids, and I absolutely get it. That morphine they had me on was literally the only thing that ever gave me relief, that whole year. Had to get shots in my back, too, which helped, but made you feel like your innards were on fire, the day of each injection.
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan Ya, I really don't like talking about it but people must understand the horror of back surgery. I think things could have potentially been different if he had the back surgery when he was older & wasn’t born into a poor family. He had a genetic spine disorder that didn’t become active until he was a teenager. That took out parts of his vertebrae and he had to have steel rods in his back. I swear no horror story has pain as bad as he went through every day of his life. This is before Obama care when back then health care would only pay for like half the coverage at best. We grew up in Stockton as poor kids just like the majority that lived there. Morphine was just way too expensive, especially the shoots since they wouldn't last long. He kept the heroin addiction from me. But one day he had money to buy some white heroin and a dealer mixed up his supply and gave him cocaine instead and then he developed a coke habit and it became obvious he was on drugs. He apologized after lying to me after I accused him of being on drugs and we were cool but then after a couple of years, he became a super depressed hermit who never left his room and eventually wouldn't even come to answer the door claiming he needed stronger drugs. He passed away by a self-headshot using a Smith and Wesson at 28 & I had never once seen him own a gun in his life. I don't think I've ever been the same after that. It really was like being friends with someone who was slowly dying every day and never getting any better.
Well, I have one question for here: do you think 4K discs are better than standard blu rays? I just now got a 4K player and some of these 4K discs are ruining blu ray for me lol.
Personally, it only looks different for me when it’s an old movie like Halloween or The Breakfast Club. Anything newer is so lame on that format, post 1990 whatever hahah. That’s just my thoughts. I have a couple of good friends that still tease me because I buy DVDs 😂
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan You're right, older movies look better and benefit more from 4K. The newer ones are mostly shot on digital, so the extra detail just isn't there, they only benefit maybe from the HDR if they don't screw it up.

And those older movies take ages to get new releases, and they’ve been improved so much in recent Blu-ray’s, that there’s just not much more they can do to improve the look of them, in my experience lol. That’s coming from the guy that still watches a ton of VHS, as well lol. I just never see the big deal with 4K and 8K and all of that.
Don’t believe everything you read, dude hahah. If we ever got it, I’d be shocked, but I’m pretty sure that’s been given-up on, after the direction this new series took lol

I usually pass out gospel tracks & candy on Halloween Night, this year, I went to a Haunted House dressed up as myself. (everyone liked my costume)

@@its_hayes___ So I did at some trunk or treats at churches I went to, a few years back, but they started getting to the point where they didn’t even give us tracts to hand out, which I thought was annoying lol. Tracts are so cheap, and they were determined they wanted us to TALK to kids on Halloween night, rather than give them something that would plant a seed while they’re not running all over the place like madmen 😂
Now that my wife and I aren’t involved in a church, lately, we didn’t bother buying any tracts to hand out due to not getting trick or treaters almost ever. Plus, the local christian stores we could get our personal tracts from went out of business, and so we’d have to have the forethought enough to order them from the Internet and have them lying around, you know? I don’t know what you prefer to hand out, but I actually think Ray Comfort’s Living Waters tracts are absolutely brilliant-those are my favorites to hand out to people, and my favorite method on preaching the Gospel to people when they come asking about it. Ray taught me a ton. If you haven’t heard of him, you should check his TH-cam out. That guy puts wonderful Christian documentaries out there.

@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan I have seen The Man With the Golden Arm and I love Sinatra's performance in that movie. He really put his all into the part and it shows. I heard that he researched his role of a drug addict--no wonder he played it so convincingly! There's another movie that I think he played well in 1954 called "Suddenly", another good film of his as well.

Happy Halloween Michael! and oh you are the first Goosebumps creators that I have subscribed after getting back in my Goosebumps faze and it's true the 2003 reprints do in fact uses the goosebumps series 2000 logo with "Welcome to dead house" uses the exact same goosebumps logo used in series 2000 color and all I'm surprised not that many people noticed lol.

And, dude, I just saw your edit from the original comment. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. That seems to be why doctors are scared to death about the opioids, and I absolutely get it. That morphine they had me on was literally the only thing that ever gave me relief, that whole year. Had to get shots in my back, too, which helped, but made you feel like your innards were on fire, the day of each injection.
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan Ya, I really don't like talking about it but people must understand the horror of back surgery. I think things could have potentially been different if he had the back surgery when he was older & wasn’t born into a poor family. He had a genetic spine disorder that didn’t become active until he was a teenager. That took out parts of his vertebrae and he had to have steel rods in his back. I swear no horror story has pain as bad as he went through every day of his life. This is before Obama care when back then health care would only pay for like half the coverage at best. We grew up in Stockton as poor kids just like the majority that lived there. Morphine was just way too expensive, especially the shoots since they wouldn't last long. He kept the heroin addiction from me. But one day he had money to buy some white heroin and a dealer mixed up his supply and gave him cocaine instead and then he developed a coke habit and it became obvious he was on drugs. He apologized after lying to me after I accused him of being on drugs and we were cool but then after a couple of years, he became a super depressed hermit who never left his room and eventually wouldn't even come to answer the door claiming he needed stronger drugs. He passed away by a self-headshot using a Smith and Wesson at 28 & I had never once seen him own a gun in his life. I don't think I've ever been the same after that. It really was like being friends with someone who was slowly dying every day and never getting any better.

Well, I have one question for here: do you think 4K discs are better than standard blu rays? I just now got a 4K player and some of these 4K discs are ruining blu ray for me lol.
The dolby atmos or dts x really sells the 4k discs for me
Personally, it only looks different for me when it’s an old movie like Halloween or The Breakfast Club. Anything newer is so lame on that format, post 1990 whatever hahah. That’s just my thoughts. I have a couple of good friends that still tease me because I buy DVDs 😂
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan You're right, older movies look better and benefit more from 4K. The newer ones are mostly shot on digital, so the extra detail just isn't there, they only benefit maybe from the HDR if they don't screw it up.

And those older movies take ages to get new releases, and they’ve been improved so much in recent Blu-ray’s, that there’s just not much more they can do to improve the look of them, in my experience lol. That’s coming from the guy that still watches a ton of VHS, as well lol. I just never see the big deal with 4K and 8K and all of that.
