    That was easy, I'm going to take care of mine today. On other vehicles I usually open or at least loosen the oil fill cap to get the oil to come out the drain plug a little easier. Also, did you warm up the engine at all before draining? Your old oil looked like it flowed pretty smoothly.

      Always warm up the vehicle run it around the block especially winter time. Summer isn’t a big deal.

    Is there a block heater for these for cold mountain areas or is that not an issue? how many miles you think these will go over 250k miles ?

    • @MyHomeGarage
      @MyHomeGarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ve scene a tdi v6 with 600,000kms the engines are never the issue with this if you maintain them. They warm up fast I believe they have a system to heat up faster

      @MyHomeGarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @juanherrera2672 hey, I think personally as long as the original equipment is working and a serious issue hasn’t occurred where the cost is significant. We will leave it as is. If a issue occurs we will address that at the time.

    Hey interesting video between the 3.0 diesel porsche cayenne 2011 and the 3.0 diesel from a x5 2016 wich one is better in terms of reliability ?

    • @MyHomeGarage
      @MyHomeGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Before I bought my Touareg TDI and this Cayenne was bought. I did a lot of research. One of the biggest selling points of a 3.0 TDI is how long it has been in production and how many models of vehicle use it. A4, A6, A8, Q5, Q7, TOUAREG, CAYENNE... but higher km vehicles will require timing kits replaced huge service. X5 3.0 are probably easier to work on with the space available in the engine bay. Vehicles had a lot of recalls and issues with self leveling suspension and emissions systems. Engines are bulletproof. Its everything around it that suffers. Check out th-cam.com/channels/B1FyeLuRpqi56bTzkIg-2w.html he has a x5 d high kms he has a whole video on it. The reason I got the 3.0 personally is the emissions scandle gives you warrenty for 10 years from repair date. Goodluck

    Is the 2016 Cayenne Diesel oil change 10,000 mi or 5,000 mile. ?

    • @MyHomeGarage
      @MyHomeGarage  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Factory is 10,000 Miles or 15000 km's. I personally changed my settings to make it every 6000 miles or 10000 km's. Regardless I chnage the oil every fall and spring. When I swapnmy wheels over and this is on both the cayenne, touareg

      As long as there is no emissions testing where the vehicle is registered. Many levels you can tune and delete her. You can delete her, dpf and tune it. There are complete kits sold from many companies.
