    I’m so sorry for all those who grieve. I think about your loved ones throughout the year. I’m far away, but I’m so moved by your expressions of love and sadness that I start to carry you in my heart. I hope that time brings a little peace to the families, friends, and survivors.

    I live in the U.S. and I read about it last year. It was shocking that how could this happen in a developed country like South Korea. I know the crowd was huge, but people should have just relaxed and chilled. There are many blames to go around, but the bottom line is many young people lost their lives senselessly. RIP.

      Are you sure that you wont start panicking when you are stuck in a crowd?? Just try and imagine this, you are unable to move, the air is getting stuffier and stuffier, you feel as if your ribs are getting crushed, you could hardly breath due to the limited oxygen supply and your lungs not being able to expand as it was way too tightly packed around you. Ah and not to forget that this incident took place at a slope, so it was slanted, people were getting pushed from behind, they fell, piling on each other like domino cards. Those that were at the back did not have a clear idea of the situation either, so they continued to move forward. And are you really sure that you would stay calm when someone beside you has passed out?? In what way do you expect them to stay relaxed?? They could lose their life every now and then, and seeing actual dead bodies would only make it more clear. They have no control of the situation either, remember, they are stuck in a huge crowd and getting pushed by people from behind. And it is important to note that such tragedies could happen everywhere, it is in fact the government's fault for not being prepared enough to handle such situations while being aware that there would be a huge crowd at the site. United states is a very developed country too, no?? Many tragedies have happened there too, including very recent ones. I understand that you are speaking this with no ill intent, at least i hope for that to be. But please be aware that what you said was very ignorant and harmful to those who lost their love ones. Victim blaming is absolutely not the most appropriate thing you could say in such situations.

    Lately I've been wondering what's going to happen this year. Halloween is right around the corner, but for so many it's going to be a black day. Will Korea even allow Halloween to take place this time around?

    • @KathyakaNina
      @KathyakaNina 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I hope they don’t. Halloween is a evil holiday & has background from Wiccans & original of witchcraft so I recommend no one celebrates that even in dressing up

      I haven't seen anything Halloween like happening in Kpop in past few days. Usually they release Halloween special something within Halloween week but no such thing and it's only 2 days left to 31.
      Seems like this yr probably Halloween will be avoided by most or will be super lowkey event.

    I feel sorry that people in South Korea lost their loved ones that year it makes me sad and it breaks my heart to see them go through that I want to give people who lost a loved one’s a big hug. They deserve it Jimin from BTS. His brother was out there during when that happened but thankfully he didn’t die and get hurt. I would imagine how gym and would’ve felt about that losing his brother that time I know how hard it is to lose a loved one, but this breaks my heart because I respect South Korea, and I truly am feeling sad about it and I can’t stop thinking about it. My heart goes out to them 😘😢💜

    Halloween was used to be the day for little kids to dress up in their costumes and get free candies. Then, big corporations got involved with all the commercials to make it a day for adults to party. RIP to all who lost their lives senselessly.

    Momma is right, if they cancel it the people will just go elsewhere, it seems like everyone went to NYC this year. Halloween should just be canceled world wide, have your own house parties.

      Today is a funny party but back in the day before catholics took over they would sacrifice humans and animals for it. That is Samhain. Of course not everybody would do such things but It's real. Same with most festivities such as Xmas.
