Perhaps not a true ACAAN but still absolutely mind blowing! Some of us are still on the quest… if you’re brand new to card magic and you haven’t studied the berglas effect, perhaps this may give you that first glimpse into the holy grail of card magic. And to be fair, you can perform this version your whole career with only elementary techniques but still fool everyone and anyone. Chapeau to you Mr. Owen, this is a powerful effect to teach! It’s now firmly in my repertoire
I think Dani Daortiz has done the best, purest version of this effect I've seen - although like Berglas himself, how he gets to the denouement varies somewhat. I don't think there's a 100% hands-off way to do it without using deceptions that violate the unwritten contract, i.e. stooges or confederates, post-production editing or camera trickery. Either you force the card or the number. That's always going to be the compromise...unless there's some new innovation that none of us have imagined yet.
@@TheSleightDoctor absolutely! Dani is a pure master, and agreed - his ACAAN is incredible. His handling is so chaotic and wonderful! Artists like Dani and Lennart Green are the reason I got into card magic
Wow! What a great trick! I love using your effects in my routine! I remember leaning this trick a while back, but your version is much better and more seamless!😊
I love how you say this is the holy grail of card tricks because it’s one of the ones I show people all the time. I never knew the name of it but I know of the Klondike shuffle. Obviously yours is much cleaner than mine 😅
The key to these tricks is to create routine around the effect, Lenert Green wonderfully uses these types of displays in his routines, he is a masterful example of how to take simple and write it into a seemingly complex routine, all about storytelling. Oscar I first became aware of your channel when you did Houdini trick. I love it, thanks for the inspiration in a most enjoyable way
Pretty neat ACAAN, seams like a good beginner/intermediate to start with before you move on to the harder ones, I remember back in the day when I was just starting out, the very first ACAAN I ever learned was with a svengali deck
5:53 here’s is a idea for controlling their card to the bottom in a more deceptive way. Ed Marlos convincing control. You seem to really lose their card in there. Plus you can have the spectator put and push the card in and you have full control. Just a nice a bit more deceptive way :)
For me as a child, the 7:34 shuffle was the first kind of shuffle I learned, because I wasn't clever enough to actually give a deck of cards a legitimate shuffle. This was the only shuffle I could do and I guess it's an accidental trick
Hey Oscar why are the cards as you can see on 5:20 slightly missprinted towards the upper part. I am seeing that more otfen or are thay Bicycle Seconds?
hello, thanks for the hard work i really enjoy your videos and i have a request to make, there is a trick performed by a guy named jimmy ichihana on penn and teller show (first trick) and i have been searching for how this trick is done because i really want to learn it but no luck so if u please can help with a tutorial of the trick or a way of learning the trick i would really appreciate it, thank you
It's been a while since i've made these cinematic videos! Who wants me to bring them back?
Yes pl. That was some pro level intro
Thank you!@@skylarutd

I really appreciate your work but you copied this from mlt magic tricks
Ne kadar korkunç bi gösteriydi tüylerim ürperdi😢
This is not just brilliant it looks impossible. I honestly did not recognise you with the beard, or perhaps i am just getting old.😅
This version is absolutely no where near The Holy Grail.
Needless to say, if this bozo knew the actual method, he’d reveal it, as it’s not his.
😂😂😂
Good ACAAN but definitely not the holy grail.
i think he put holy grail for CLICKS, videos are all about titles. and getting peoples attention.
