Thank you so much! 😊 I think with the extension for Jacksonville it should be safe to say that at least one of the fantasy class ships are here to stay for awhile. At least I hope so!
Did the inspiration and imagination which were twin ships out of Long Beach both are very similar to the Elation! Great video! Now we have the Radiance out of Long Beach and the Firenze which I’m sailing on in May!
Thanks so much! We are looking forward to the Venezia this summer but we have to get to the west cost to do those ships as well. Firenze is going to be an awesome addition for you!
Wow this was the best carnival elation tour I have seen, and I have been binge watching Videos like crazy lol to get a good look before I booked my birthday cruise. Your video was the 1st time I seen all the nice stores thanks a lot
The Imagination was my first cruise. Back in 1995. I just love looking at this video. I live in Jacksonville and love sailing on the Elation. Just sailed on it 2 weeks ago. It was my fourth time.
I loved the Imagination when I was a kid. I still remember the Cruise Director throwing me a hat at the welcome aboard show back then. I wish I could’ve sailed on her as an adult before she left the fleet. We are looking forward to doing the Paradise and the Elation many more times in the near future. We love the feel of the “smaller” ships!
I live in Jacksonville. I'm sailing on the Elation again for the third time. Love the feel of the smaller ship now and then. Hope you enjoyed the Elation as much as I have.
We love the smaller ships and is definitely our preference. I feel like they are slowly becoming extinct so we are trying to cruise on them as much as possible while they are still here. Thanks for your comment and hope to see you on board one day!
Awesome ship tour! You either started the video extremely late at night or extremely early in the morning on a port day as for the total lack of people around? Either way, great tour of the Elation!
What a fabulous tour! Thank you for the video. Beautiful ship inside, oldie but goodie. My family and I just got off the Icon of the Seas. We liked the Icon but it was so so crowded and just so expensive, everything costs extra. No place to go and relax. After watching your video we may book a Elation cruise so we can just relax...and get a good free Guys burger.
Thanks so much, we haven’t been on the Icon but from all the videos I see and the prices people have paid for their cruise I was shocked. We loved our time on the Elation and definitely looking to book it again in the future!
Oh awesome, went on the Imagination twice myself when i was young and with my family. Loved that ship and made some great friends. That is awesome that you still have a piece of the ship to remember! Thanks for sharing!
Are there tables in the casino where you can sit back and just drink and smoke without being at a game or slot machine? My wife and I don't gamble, but would love that atmosphere.
It’s one of their oldest ships, so they tend to be a bit darker. She is still beautifully maintained and very clean for being nearly 30 years old. I like to call it charm haha 😆
I just came home from sailing the Elation April 1,2024. First I’m going to list the pros then the cons 1. The crew and the passengers were great. It didn’t matter what race, gender or age everyone was polite, respectful and friendly 2 ship was very clean 3 room steward was efficient and all requests made by me were on point 4. Live band in Drama bar was very good 5 getting on & off ship was very efficient 6 nice casino but half is for smoking CONS 1. And this was a biggie. The food was bad sometimes down right terrible The buffet I wouldn’t touch. Dinning room I had one good meal out of 4. The extra $23 they charged for surf & turf was a joke the size of a shrimp Thank god for potato chips & deli sandwich. Dining room breakfast just as bad 2. No pool in adult only area which was a bummer because you could not get near the pool. Kids made it impossible to enjoy 3. No specialty restaurants. 4 no store on board for essentials. Toothpaste etc I think overall some of this is might fault for booking a too small of ship. I usually prefer smaller ships but this one is too small. Maybe one size up would better suit me. I personally would not sail this ship again
Fuck.. I already booked me and my family for may 4th-may 9th. I hope the food is good. That’s a deal breaker. I can get down on some food and it’s heartbreaking to hear that. I’m sure they didn’t comp anyone either.
That is wild because we had an entirely different experience with food. Buffet we find is always pretty bland besides a couple items. However the dining room was terrific with the new menu. It’s possible new crew took over after we got off in the beginning of March. We found the menu to be better than the old menu and they even kept some of the fan favorites but tweaked them and make them better. Sorry you had such a terrible experience.
We had a great experience with food besides the buffet. New menu was fantastic and tried a lot of the new dishes between appetizers, entrees, and desserts. 🍮
Awesome ship tour! Love the horn in the intro :) These older ships are just so amazing! I hope they keep them in the fleet for a long time.

Thanks so much! I really do appreciate it, I try to get as detailed as possible! Whatever cruise you book I hope it’s an amazing birthday!
Think twice
We did the Mardi Gras on our first cruise.
@@anncochenour9920exactly a straight joke just got back yesterday and we didn’t even cruise the entire cruise that was paid for

Hello I enjoyed your Video today! Please have a Great Day!
Awesome ship tour! You either started the video extremely late at night or extremely early in the morning on a port day as for the total lack of people around? Either way, great tour of the Elation!
Thanks so much, I started at 4:30 in the morning for the inside shots and then finished up on a port day with the deck shots. I appreciate it!

Went to Key West and Cozumel on the Imagination 2x. I still have my Ship on a Stick from trivia.

Hi! Are the saunas and steam rooms both men and women or do the have separate rooms ?
I have been on the inspiration 2002.
Hiii buddy,,do you remember me? I am IDA,Bartender. I saw you on mardigras and elation last month ❤️❤️❤️

@@funnelheads i'm fine thanks❤️ now im on vacations already, next july i willbe on carnival luminosa seattle
How do you find a good price in June
Try to book in advance as much as you can. Recently they have been going up the closer the cruise gets. Of course that could change as well.
no basketball court?
Unfortunately no, just mini golf and shuffle board.
Was there a bar in the serenity area
No bar or pool
Unfortunately no, but they did have 2 hot tubs.

They have chairs and tables right outside of the casino as well as a bar, but not in the casino unfortunately.
bow aka freak deck
Carnival Ships are so dark inside and strange looking.

I love their older ships. The new ships are stupid dark

Try the Mardi Gras next. We did that for our last cruise.
