I thought it only happened to me but apparently not, ;-; It is very frustrating that there is no one on the sanctuary islands, please tgc fix the bug quickly, since we will not be able to take the huge plant because you need more players to take it

If you happen to cross upon a bug, there's a 99% chance that other people experienced it as well 😂
And there's a bug for doing spirits in Sanctuary Island, where if you want to do spirit with your friend, your friend has to burn it too, and...it taking long time to load 😂😂😂
aaand sometimes the sprirt/the burn button doesn't render, sometimes the candle doesn't register, sometimes the spirit circle doesn't render for one or more of the players. and my sometimes I mean almost always@@YeSirui
For me the underwater thing is EVERYWHERE NOW except for the season of abyss area. It’s quite literally blinding

That underwarer blurr effect is horrible, i don't know why its even a thing.
I've had the blur go away when I go deep under water, but never when I'm closer to the surface.
@@hunmg3769 Back before Season of Abyss came out, that's what all the water looked like under there since you weren't meant to go under there... not sure what happened to make it return though lol
I see no blurry effect underwater.
I only go there to get all the shells and if you go alone there u can still burn the plant but I figured out if u take your friend piggyback u can burn the plants when a friend is with u.

Seems to work in the PC demo for me, and when I'm with friends on switch and mobile, they can't see the plants I've burned.

Switch player here, I can burn all of the plants except for that damned large tree, and then I'm always alone with nobody else showing up, and the only time someone actually showed up they were trying to burn a part of the plant I had already burned, as if on their end it looked like it was still there 🙃
Same, me and a friend were all over the island trying to burn the plants, but none would react. A few would eventually, but after one plant was down, the bug was back. I hope they lauch an update soon🤞🤞

Lmao yeah as much as I hate hiking grouch and the silent scholar in Vault, I will NEVER do pleaful parent solo or without the help of krill immunity spells. Tried that several times already, was always krilled or lost the spirit halfway through, between checkpoints 3 and 4.
Tip: stock up on those krill immunity spells daily while you can during Days of Mischief, they're very rare and hard to come by otherwise. I've already got 14 stocked for the next time that damn pleaful spirit memory becomes a daily task.

@kentjones7743 yw! Yeah unfortunately it's extremely hard to gain or buy them anywhere else (I don't recall ever seeing them for sale from the boat merchant)
The funny thing is that solo area bug in sanctuary has happened before. They fixed it ages ago and it came back again

I guess similar enough types of updates will result in similar types of bugs. I've noticed the solo only bug in a couple other areas since the update too, but it's definitely mainly/the most prominent in Sanctuary

This is not only happening in Sanctuary Islands. It happens pretty much everywhere at this point. Cackling Crab area gives you the wifi sygnal icon pretty much on a constant basis now and the hand icon where you're supposed to see to pick up candy tickets keep going on and off like someone's pulling off a prank or something.
Not only that, there's this bug where if you get yoinked out of your feet out of nowhere, you basically end up not being able to move at all and the only way to fix that is to go home or close the game and relog in.
Yesterday, the "hug a friend" daily quest doesn't work. It says you completed it but when you try to pick up the seasonal candle, TGC just prank you again.
Talk about trick or treat right? I mean, this definitely is the most terrifying and horrifying Halloween event that I've ever seen in Sky. What's my opinion about the new season's experience? Well you know it's totally not ruined or anything whatsoever *sarcastic voice* 😉
Yup, been encountering all those same exact bugs lmao.
At least with the hug a friend task from the other day, tgc was made aware of it and said they were/are working on it, so I expect they'll compensate everyone who did that task with an event candle once finished. They're usually pretty good at compensation for things like this
why does "bug of the light" actually sound cool, like an inspiring emotional short film

The tree in the cave can't be done and its so boring w/o someone to hit on hahaha
I tried doing WITH SOMEONE THERE but the lag and the bugs were so awful neither of us could get any further than a branch at a time.
@@Vivigreeny25ugh yeah for ONCE someone actually ended up in my server recently, but apparently on their end the part of the plant I had already burned was still there, so they were trying to burn the part I had already done then gave up and left 😭

A tip when you're reliving that spirit, carry a fast recharging item with u. That way u can easily recharge urself without wasting time. I usually activate the bonfire spell
CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY!!!! for the past week or so i've been totally unable to finish burning the plant in time because *all* of the plants in sanctuary islands (for me) have been refusing to burn!!! I hold my candle over it and it just glows and flickers yellow and doesn't burn I also had to keep doubling back for hiking grouch because the next "memory" wasn't loading 💀💀 i'm so done with sanctuary... why did tgc put 2/3 of the daily wax events there 😭
That exact thing happened to me and 6 other people at the same time in sanctuary, none of the plants would burn D: its the weirdest glitch. Sanctuary island is one of my favorite spots so I hope they launch an update soon!

those damn dark plants won't burn instantly. for some reasons, the dark plants on my screen won't burn but on my alt's screen (i have two devices), they burn normally

It starts directly after Granny's dinner in the hidden forest. it usually starts about 5 minutes after Granny is finished and then goes on for ten minutes. It's a permanent event that came from one of the past Days of Nature mini seasons. Just an extra way to get wax, and to see a pretty sunset
sometimes, while collecting shells, I am randomly thrown to grandma in a hidden forest 🤐

ugh, the big plant on the turtle. I once got halfway through burning it when the turtle went underwater. So I just had to watch all my hard work go to waste. I got there late, too, so it ended before I could get anything.
I do this little trick whenever I run out of energy. I recorded myself using the shared memory thing and I deephonk once and cancel the recording. Then I just watch it, while watching your energy will be full again. There will be a sound which indicates that you are full. Its helpful when you are solo and also do not need to spend for spells.
There's much easier ways to do this spirit, like if it's above you just fly up. The trench area with the weird platforms on both sides? Just walk in the crevice path then fly up

Sky PC Controls are kind of a bit clunky at times, hopefully they can give us actual settings once it fully releases..
I'm glad to know that i wasn't the only one suffering in sanctuary island and with the movement controls on pc..
this is what happen when they launch event after event without break 🙄🙄bruh let skykid take a break for atleast one season of event. this mischef so annoying cutscene what that cut scene for no idea. iam solo player but recently after update. i can't lit anything if i try to burn my candle blew off automatically.

man, burning the dark plant in the sanctuary is a pain, because even when you drag your friends there to burn it, it only burns for yourself and no one else

This was a nightmare on PC. Any time you press the arrow key you go full tilt in that direction. Which isn’t the best when you need small precise motions
I really don’t like doing that and the one in the graveyard, they could be very frustrating

This reminds me of doing beta of this season. Myself and a lot of my friends gave feedback that this spirit mission/mountain needed redesign, but TGC didn't listen.
If you want to make that grump spirit walk easier, you can use the Memory Lantern (manta Projector) prop. Just use the ghost mantas to glide from ledge to ledge. You can still carry the spirit while riding them, I think.
Of course, this is only an option if you have the projector. 😅

2:05 you can just walk to the place you need to fly up and just fly straight up from that spot. Cost a little bit of moving, but recommend if you’re not good at flying from spot to spot.
when i was collecting clams, i was just blindly swimming around until there was the icon to grab a clam….which made me clip into the ground because a clam was inside the ground. so it was cool to see everything under a blurry lense lmaoooo

sanctuary only works when you're the only one in there LMAO😭 either darkness plants burn painfully slow or not burn at all if there's another sky kid in sanctuary, same with the turtle

Nobody gonna speak about the pink fog in EVERY MAP -BEFORE shards that blonds you for NO REASON for 5 minutes with no indication where it is? It ruins playtime for everyone. I've just gotten to where I exit out and go home for the entire 5 minutes because there is nothing you can do without loosing wings while waiting for the smoke to leave the land. It's useless and annoying...not challenging nor alarming...
While we are at ut can we discuss the 10 minute long cut scenes we ha e to watch over and over when we enter ANYTHING half without a skip button...that alone makes me literally ignore most that area....like the last part of forest...or ANY TEMPLE....whywhywhy 25 minute cut scenes for an action we have done 15,000 times? Why???.

my daily is 6:05 - 6:15 pm geyser, then off
8:05 - 8:15 pm geyser again (using return shrine)
8:16 - 8: 50 pm doing all seasonal quest if possible & event quest, or playing with friends, then back offline
10:35 - 10:45 pm grandma then offline again
the next day I use return shrine to back to grandma and do all those dailies again and i will end the day in geyser

Seriously get friends to play with you for the stupid mountain hike spirit. It makes things SO much more tolerable.
If that’s not an option, a fast recharge spell probably helps.

This spirit didn't sync for me and friend.. I ended up doing it twice, but when you pair a controller with android it's a lot easier... Still takes ages.

Ive been wondering why the big flower in the cave wont already be burned bc of the server split like usual, and after reading the comments im glad im not alone on the cackling crab glitch where it just randomly flings you up in the air, preventing you from doing literally any input except going home
sky is secretly a dark souls game. the worst one is that emote in the wasteland. you have to slowly walk FOREVER around 5 krills. its friggn annoying and almost impossible. also the little prince mission doesnt work for me. when you find him underground, after getting to the top of the cliff he just gets stuck. i have to reset the game every time i try.

Tip: have another device with an account you use to send urself hearts or whatever and either hold their hand or carry them on ur shoulders. Constant recharging. I use my sisters ps4 account while I play on my switch.

the games now called bug bugs of the bug fest
tbh they need to get it away from being server based from amazon AWS and have it all load locally then have it sync every few minutes unless your at doors or plants that need other people
that will make the game way less buggy
its a unity based game so it could easily be done then they wouldnt have to worry about issues like this happening and if servers have hiccups/die/catch fire then the game can still be played/saved to the servers when they are back up and running
EDIT: the halloween area is unplayable with friends since it server disconnects like crazy/it soft locks you even if no ones around since the gate and all that triggers causing the camera to get stuck which then makes you not able to move unless a friend takes you by the gate/crab to trigger the cut scenes fully but with the servers dying there you have to legit go home and come back just to finish anything there
this update has by far been the buggiest one and it wasnt even buggy in beta so they really screwed something up when they pushed it to go live (the pc demo actually had the update before everyone else)
