This collection looks to me like it is from someone who may have lightly gamed, started watching TH-cam videos about collecting, and then spent all their cash/maxed many credit cards buying only the expensive games. Maybe all within a years time. Then they realized their mistake and got out. There's basically zero filler.
@@ryandann9362 I can maybe agree if it was for a collection half this size but to have that many heavies in one collection? Seems like more than just a casual collector IMO.
I'd love for you guys to talk about the strategy of going live at a time when most people are at work. Always wish I could come spend some $ but boss wouldn't like me being on the phone all morning.
Not a good strategy but they have a huge following and awesome items so time isn't an issue. I'd suppose they just pick the time that is best for them.
Question : as a collector do you find that you have less of a "wow" factor when you handle the rarer titles because you are buying big, more often and seeing these rarer titles more frequently?
Not really! We still get a major rush when we can find those ultra rare games. At this scale it becomes more and more about condition though! Finding ones that are MINTY FRESH.
Nintendo still owns the mariners. They bought the team to keep them from being moved to Florida in 1993 as a thank you to the city of seattle for letting them do business.
Chase we don't hear you talking no more about sending games to be graded. Are you still sending some? because you get nice collections with sealed games and more
What were you playing Contra 3 on? Frame rate doesn’t dip for me, I know certain model SNES’s can have issues. I’ve beat it on expert with my brother! Great game!
There doesnt seem to be any frame dips on the 2-player world record speedrun. Except once or twice when the screen is full of enemies and when the ship bombs the ground and its full of fire.
As new systems, games, and game makers come out; do you try and speculate on future "collectibility"? Do you think new stuff may become the "junk wax" like baseball cards?
you probably know this by now, but that Stack-Up is far from complete.... 2 of the 5 gray things are missing, the 2 rob claws, and also the plastic tray.
I wonder if the CATRP Crew sit around huffing each others farts and playing soggy biscuit in the barn when they arent patting each other on the back or staring smugly into the camera?
The best way (only way?) to play two player Contra III without lag is to play the SA-1 Root patched version. It adds SA-1 support to the game and thus runs much better. You can then play it on an SD2SNES / FX Pak or via an emulator.
You’re willing to sacrifice your margin (on some items) in order to make your volume (selling) output significantly higher. Think of all the time it takes to make eBay listings for thousands of lower dollars items, some of which could sit on there for weeks or months without selling
"You're blessed to be able to buy large collections to then pass onto the communtiy" I find this logic difficult, so you hoover up large amounts of items to profit from it and this is somehow servicing the gaming community? 🧐🧐🧐
@@NotSoAmazing I get that, but this channel is just a show off channel it seems? " look at the SUPER expensive collection we bought" Flex ? there isn't much else to it

Details of how the seller collected over the years was super cool to hear! You’ll get to see in a couple weeks on the main channel.

this channel is all " look at how much money we have " ?
It's a business. It's inventory. They buy it, make some profit, and then buy more. It's LITERALLY how any and every business works.
