Interesting - studio probably sold off the unused stock footage. There's usually a group at each studio in charge of monetizing that unused footage.

That highway was less developed when Vacation was filmed in 1982, that's the difference.
"same CLIP but different angle" then not the same CLIP, the word clip is used wrong here for starters. It might be B roll of same SHOOT and DAY but the clips are two different CLIPS, if the CLIPS were the SAME they'd be.. THE SAMECheers!
