I really like the way you link the two layouts with Wickport. Wickport seems to be getting busier and busier with all those 59s . I must confess reading the comments below gave almost as much enjoyment as the video. Stephen

Good morning Wickport, and hello Paul! It's been such a long time since we saw Wickport that I'd almost forgotten it existed!!! Was great to see the container ship again, and the oil terminal looks to be doing some good business! Whenever I see these private sector liveries I always think the aim was to hide the loco amongst the rolling stock - not a bad idea with the 59, as it's not the prettiest of locos, is it? Lol! Hi Paul, well, Wickport looks the hive of activity and it’s good to see it again. I’m really looking forward to seeing it develop. Loved the little Hunslett’s doing their work and so much lovely rolling stock. I even quite like the class 59’s for modern loco’s!
Bit of a late show from me this week, bit all over the place as sadly my dad passed away a few days ago. I’ll be taking a break after my video on Friday but will still be watching, cheers for now, John

@Wickford_N_Gauge Hi Paul, next time you watch one of our videos, look out for the custard storage tanks. You can't miss them they are yellow. In fact, I'll tell my grandson to make sure they can be seen on the next video. You'll also be able to spot the barrels of custard in the goodsyard 😁👍

Good morning Paul ☘️ now that is what I call efficient engineering, linking both layouts into one Wickford and the Continental Shelf, are they linked or does the camera lie?. I am always impressed or is it envy when I see “proper” sized trains and not the truncated ones that I have to run. Passenger max is around one loco with five/six coaches, on a layout without any inclines. Absolutely love the Hammond Organ reminiscent of Donal Fagen and Nightfly with a touch of Billy Preston and Jimmy Smith thrown in, well that settles it, I shall have a god dose of Hammond Organ Jazz and Soul maybe just maybe a bit of Booker T as well. Take care and look after yourself. 🌺🌺🥃

So now you have had a play which of the two makes of 59 do you prefer and why ? We are all waiting with baited breath !
As for the Bishop of Somersex, we already have one and I don't believe Bash The Bishop is intending or expecting to be moving soon.
Charlie Chadwick has retired to a little house in Piddle in the Marsh, next door to Willie Wash and Tess Tickles.

Morning Paul. More 59's ! You're just trying to wind up our national treasure 😅. The other two look good in the ARC and National Power liveries. I know the RT ones comes in at 103g in weight - how heavy are the Dapol ones? According to someone who has close connections with Dapol ( their biggest fan😅) they're 90g in weight - are they ? Also i see you have the Walthers oil refinery hiding in Wickport. Looks as though further Yeoman hoppers have arrived. All three locos looked at home in the snowy wastes of the Alps ! Cheers Euan

@@Wickford_N_GaugeMr Growler, I actually asked Dapol and A lady in their sales department weighed one for me and gave the figure of 90 grams. So I think I will believe her !
As for the ESU Next28 decoder, I am also not impressed with it. It does not do half of what Revolution say it does. So if Zimo ever produce a Next28 it will be replaced with a Zimo.
