0:50 is incorrect. It adds double grass to every energy attached. This would push both Serperior & Celebi up to around rank 6 ~ 4. It will see lots of play as a new staple EX deck. But with Celebi's low health pool. There is counterplay there to avoid taking on damage. Mewtwo EX is a similar styled deck & still that deck archetype avoids any RNG & thus better. But let me know what you think. - Charlie
You misunderstood Serperior's ability, when it says it doesn't stack, it means you can't have two Serperior's on the bench and have their abilities stack. It doesn't matter if it's the first grass energy, every energy is essentially doubled, so for instance if Celebi has 2 energies, it's counted as 4, and so on. Even if your Pokémon has grass energies on it, then you evolve into Serperior, the energies on the Pokémon will still be doubled. This essentially means Celebi is a power house with 3 or more energies on it. Been playing it, and I can safely say Celebi will probably be up there with Mewtwo and Pikachu Ex very soon. It can basically one shot everything in the game so far.
You're absolutely right. I was meaning to add a notification of that change in the video, but ran out of time. Definitely would push it up higher in the ranks & will be a new staple EX deck to the system. But I would still argue that it is above Marowak EX decks but below Charizard EX, Mewtwo EX & the newly rejuvenated Blastoise EX decks. That low health pool really hurts the Celebi deck overrall. - Charlie
Tauros is absolutely garbage. It doesn't consistently beat literally any single ex pokemon. Pikachu which it is meant to counter can win over 50 percent of the time, and it does not beat mewtwo. Should have had either 10 more hp or needed 2 energy to attack
Well i would consider the new Exeggcute card as a really good card. While it probably won't help with Mono Gras Teams, it makes Exeggutor-ex available to any Deck to use and to use right on the Second turn.
Love the videos, here are some notes from my perspective : -Celebi and Serperior are the best cards in the set bar none, new tier 1 deck probably. -Golem is not even close to being a strictly better Melmetal, as he is a stage 2, while Melmetal is stage 1, Meltan having the brock effect built in. The only thing Golem has going for him is other pokemon to be paired with, while Melmetal has no other steel types that complement him. -Pokeflute is a cute card, but I don't think it's better then sabrina, giavanni etc. What do you cut to add it to most decks? I only see it as good strictly in Victreebel (haven't tested it tho)
It is a bit too bad about misunderstanding (at that time) Serperior's ability. Since that definitely would have and should have catapulted it and Celibi Ex to the very top. But if we treat the list as in reverse order it kind of works. Tauros is a bit too high in that case, but it's a bit closer to how I think it really plays out.
Mark my words: Chatot WILL be the big format-warping card once people realize how to use it. That thing is super, SUPER broken when used in a certain way. Just give it time for people to realize you have to build an entire deck around it to bring out its full potential. I've been playing with him all afternoon and he's probably the most abusable card in the game right now. If you try to run a deck like Mewtwo or Celebi, it will eat you alive.

You should pin this comment@@ChooseYourStarter-c7x
@@ChooseYourStarter-c7xTrue, so far it feels good, but it struggles because of his health. Waiting to see how it performs in tournaments.

yeah, 3 energies is just too much for this fast meta

Pokeflute also works with pidgeot ex as well as Things Like volcarona and since it is Item you can Play supporter Like leaf with it
Love the channel but this may be the worst top 10 list about any form of media ever made
I find Gyrado ex deserves a place on the list. And celebi/serperior is too superior to rank that low
Celebi/Serperior deck is so broken. 😂

Flute at 1 is baffeling. Pigeot EX and Druddigon have higher value and play rate.
hahaha Celebi is now the strongest deck :D
