Mica only sticks to glass, and not to itself, and since mica particles are really small, the end result will be duller than before firing, but usually there is enough left for a lovely result (as you can see in the video)
Love the project. Just one question you used that pen and then put mica on ? Haven’t tried using mica yet. But looks like something I would love getting into.
Thank you. The pen is a really useful tool to have. I've added highlights of mica on projects using it, or even wrote names. Mica will rub off a bit, and will not be as strong as before firing it, but it still leaves a nice effect.
Thank you. I've found that Araldite needs to be mixed really carefully for even a bit over 1 minute (I tend to put a stopwatch on, to make sure I do it for 60-75 seconds). I then leave it for as long as possible, even over night for bigger pieces. Also, sometimes if I mix a small amount of the glue, things will fall off. But most of the time it works really well.
Wonderful. Thank you for another instructional video
Thank you for your comment ❤
Cute!
So adorable and it gives way to so many additional ideas. Love, love, love it! Thanks for sharing ❣
Your creativity and how you come up with these projects is so brilliant. Love these hearts.
Love it! Such talent
Will the mica rub off since it wasn’t capped. Love the piece.

Love it! How long does Araldite need to cure? Some of my glued pieces came off and I am trying to figure out what I did wrong.
