    I don't know about these modified classic cars. I like them to stay orginal. But, this car looks great and I bet people are surprised when you floor it down the freeway to Vegas. Thanks for sharing .. Keep posting I really enjoy seeing these cars.

    Can't wait to see when this is finished. 4 door flat tops are the shizzle!

    Really nice Cadillac. I really like the flat top design. It gives great visibility. Thanks for sharing.

    Great car and conversion.

    I know it would upset a classic car purist but I am thrilled by the concept of putting a modern engine and transmission with electronic ignition in a classic car to make it truly reliable, drivable and livable and I would even be open to adding genuine head rests that tastefully look like they may have been in the original car. Though not in a convertible.

      Than you for watching! Yes, that was the whole purpose of building this car. It is awesome to see all original cars or 98.5 point cars that are better than the factory. Sometimes drivability is more important than originality.

    Nice ride - but i dont think thats a cold air intake hanging over the hot exhaust manifolds like that !

    I'm sure the suspension bushings and brakes upgrades were a BIG improvement, especially in safety on this car.

      Yes, the car rides and drives like new. It keeps the car in control but still allows for the "Cadillac" comfort. Brakes were really important especially since old drum brakes tend to pull left or right no matter how they are adjusted. Thank you for watching!

    Question ?
    How i can remove the dashpad ?

    • @59cadfins
      @59cadfins  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is very challenging and for sure and not easy. Start taking the screws underneath the lip of the dash. The cluster comes out with it and it is easier if you take the steering wheel out first. You have to disconnect all the electricals as well for clock, ignition, light switch radio wires and so on..It's pain and Good Luck.

    Dope but I would have went with a more powerful engine like the Cts v motor
