- It's day 3 on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady, and we are in Cozumel Mexico today! I usually don't go to far away from the ships in port but today we go all the way to Play Del Carmen. And finally back on the Scarlet Lady we experienced more late night entertainment.

Everything on that ship looks top notch
Cozumel has a low crime rate because it's a small island, not really because it's a tourist location. The mainland of Mexico where you visited by ferry is not as secure and tourists are actually targeted specifically. Generally if you stick to the resort areas, you are safe, but the more you explore, even in tourist bars and clubs, the more likely you might fall victim to crime, scams, and police corruption, like the cops will make up a bogus crime and then make you pay them off or they threaten you with jail.
We got robbed in Cozumel once lol. We went into this shop and got locked in until we bought something. Charged us $200 USD for a bracelet that was $16. Didn't see the charge until afterwards but we were just happy to make it out of there. Never even left the main shopping area either. It was super sketchy

He is not exaggerating about this boat. It is a rough ride. He is right...if you get motion sickness, take precautions.
So, while watching this video and seeing the jar beside the 4 beers on the bar that had a little sign that said something about needing tips for new boobs, the video cut to a commercial that was advertising the movie “Hey, God, it’s Me, Margaret” where she and her mom are shopping for her first bra. And THEN, an ad comes up advertising bras for me to buy! What are the odds of that ever happening again?!! 😂

I love Cozumel, rent a jeep or scooter and drive around the whole island, there is some awesome bars and beaches on the other side. There is also Mayan ruins on the island.

Different cruise
I love the ship but to go into Cozumel. I’d rather stay on the ship and maybe hit the pool or have some drinks if I wanted to shop I would just stay in Disney World or go to Disney Springs. I’m not very adventurous I’ll have a lot more fun on the ship. Good job JOJO
You should also visit Playa del Carmen for a vacation with your friends. It’s so wonderful! I would recommend staying at one of the resorts. Not a lot of seaweed. The Grand Hyatt all inclusive is superb. Their steak house/grill is phenomenal and the parties and ocean view are top tier.

I did the Jojo excursion on February. I loved it. I was theroughly drunk when I got on the ship.
Hi JoJo, I didn't explore Cozumel when I was there, so I missed out. Luckily I got over my fear when we got to Grand Cayman Island and explored, so much more fun!! BTW, you can't imagine how much I wanted to jump in that water - that was an awesome spot!!
I went to Cozumel last year they took us on a historical spot that we toured and this beach club type spot, I didn’t care for it Jojo’s places here looked nice, we stopped at Grand Caymen too I loved it ,it was beautiful there.
I was just on that ferry too, didn't walk around much it was very rocky!!
