I prefer Halogen lights since it's cheap to replace them with LED as opposed to getting LED and then when they go bad it's super expensive to fix.

LEDs very rarely go bad though. You are right that if they DO go bad, then they are very pricey to replace. Sometimes you have to replace the whole housing. However, once you have HIDs or LEDs, it is very hard to go back to halogen.

Well I have ambient lighting in my front doors but I have an SR it’s a really soft dim light it shines on the door cup holder
