    This is beautiful to see that so many young and old are dressing up together and actually having a real convention, And i really like that they all dressed up in different uniforms, Instead of the same old US and German stuff.

    Even though I have collected Militaria for over 35 years and including some good German WW1 & WW2 items - I find it disturbing how much at the shows and websites are focused on German, but also the slightly warped focus on the SS - who were brutal and universally feared. Most collectors are not your normal bloke, but middle > old aged men and I don't see a large number of younger people coming into the market when I attend many shows.

    • @Gremovmuzej
      @Gremovmuzej  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I find the same thing myself. The most interest is in German decorations. And it's as if no one is worried about the fact that there are most fakes in this area. It is probably due to the strong influence of various documentaries about Nazi Germany on television. Many countries have much nicer decorations, but unfortunately the interest in them is not that great.

    • @MrTuftynut
      @MrTuftynut ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree @@Gremovmuzej The German WW2 market is littered with fakes, some poor but others really well made and even fool experienced dealers. There are a lot of collectors out there who are going to lose a lot of money when they come to sell, and I think this market has about 10-15 years left. Prices are at record highs and it can't continue like that.
      I have decided to focus more on 19th century wars again and collect those items, which are even more beautiful and historic.
