So you’re at a Rudd pond and say the method feeder is needed for the tench with a tiny bait? I’m at a carp, tench, Rudd water almost daily and having recently started the method feeder style I’ve caught nothing but Rudd on 8mm pellet, 10mm sinking bandums etc (I’m sure a durable hooker would make no difference. Only ever caught the tench here on 15mm+ boilie lead rigs. on the feeder it’s peck peck peck peck instantly from fish you can’t strike into (obvs too small). The quiver never stops moving.
Bottled water for mixing groundbait!!! 😄 . Load of old knackers, can you imagine the late great alan wilson nipping off for a bottle of "Evian" 😅 also choosing between mornings and evenings surely is dictated more by weather! Tench are easy to catch why complicate it? I used to catch 20+ fish on northern waters on nothing more than a handfull of corn few maggots. All the gear no idea!

Nonsense. Kids can't afford all that carry on!
