Hi sir i have recently written my neet pg ,I want to take orthopedics as a career but i have mild colour vision deficiency ,is it ok to take ortho or should i opt for other branch
In India, considering the huge population, the Doctor profession is never going to be saturated. Yes of course, some branches like orthopaedics are highly competitive and hence the number of orthopaedicians might be more. However this issue is only seen in major cities, where doctors move into, in search of better quality of life. This is due to clustering at one place. Another reason is better infrastructure available in better hospitals in cities. If the government is ready to provide the same in all the states distributing it equally among urban and rural districts then there will never be any saturation in orthopedics jobs.
