As a member of the tinned-fin community, I can honestly say I never thought that would be a thing! Haha! I'm a foodie so I watch food videos (restaurants, reviews, the like) on YT and kinda just stumbled into the tinned fish. I'm truly immersed and vested though and glad I've found "us". My favorite tins so far are spiced Flowers sardines in olive oil. Best I've had yet, flavor wise. Excellent on french baguettes! I'm also a fan of Matiz and Nuri. I'm partial to the pilchards, though my daughter prefers brislings like the King Oscars. Glad to see your content, as always, Jon!
Thank you for the thoughtful comment, Mrs. Walker! I'll keep my eyes open for the Flowers brand (I haven't heard of it before). And one of these days, I'll be sure to order some Nuris! I've heard nothing but good things about those.

I had one of these cans way too late one night, and my stomach threw a full-fledged rebellion against me. Unfortunately, though they tasted amazing going in they did not taste so good coming back out. I don't think I will venture to try them again though I also wouldn't blame the fish.
I still think that 2 pieces of sardines per cracker are more correct - but the pepper was a nice touch!

My Favorite dines. waiting on my case from Amazon. I want to try a few cans of Nuri out of Portugal. I want to taste what all the fuss is about.
One of these days, I’ll order some Nuri sardines as well. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them!
