Country House in Mexico with Contemporary Design | RO House Tapalpa

This house is a tranquil retreat nestled in a wooded area near the town of Tapalpa, Mexico. With a linear layout, it is divided into two distinct areas: the private section, featuring three bedrooms accessed through a hallway, and the public area encompassing the kitchen, living room, and terrace, all connected from the main entrance. Constructed with regional materials like slate stone and wood, the house blends solid walls and high ceilings with wooden beams, providing a cozy and rustic atmosphere. Unlike neighboring houses that close off from the outside, this house opens almost entirely to the surrounding landscape, offering a seamless fusion between indoor and outdoor spaces. With a contemporary personality, it challenges the traditional typologies of the region while maintaining a deep respect for the natural environment around it.
