When i first tame my basilo in the island i tamed a 85 and we were followed y 20+sharks im not exaggerating 20+ I don’t have a saddle on it and it charged the 20+shark and killed them all and i was so happy Ps: the base health of my basilo is 10k
YOU DO NOT NEED EXTRAORDINARY KIBBLE. Extraordinary kibble is the highest level kibble, it's always the best. Exceptional kibble is easier to get and works just as well as extraordinary on the basi.
Very good video but you forgot to say that they heal extremely fast when they are near the surface of the water ( 100hp/sec while force feeding them with fish meat)
Not sure if this has changed over time, as I'm a relatively new ark player, but chiming in to say that you don't need extraordinary kibble for them. It'll work, sure, but exceptional kibble works just fine and is easier to make I love that these guys can sometimes spawn in the shallow silica pearl pools west of the volcanic lands on the northern coast in ragnarok. Used a rex to chomp away all the mantas and tamed peacefully without any problems. Could often reach it from the surface since it's so shallow there.
These are great, but the recent nerf has really hurt their tanky health. Got slaughtered in the east water cave on island I used to solo. Ill bring friends next time. I often keep a basillo on my action bar while using a mosa incase i get ganged by jellies.
I actually tamed a basilosaurus just after I got a sword (A low level one, pretty much based on pure luck and some raw fish meat I had from a megalodon I had just killed), I just put it on neutral and kept it near my base which was near a body of water. I actually used it muuuuuuuch later in the game, when I actually needed bio - toxin
They are basically just good water mounts for areas that are full of the electric eels and jellyfish because it's immune to their shocking/stunning attacks. Plus they keep you from getting too hot or too cold when riding them. And over time, they naturally generate small amounts of oil.
more like the king of the shallows lol
I was just about to comment that
I only feel safe in the ocean when im on a basi 😂
They take exceptional kibble lol
yeah, cj needs to work on his kibble info for these videos

Unofficial probably
If there was one alpha meg among those 20 megs you’d die in no more the 10 seconds
Jasim Hani you’re damn right
@@jasimhani5201 I dunno. My Basil tanked 2 alpha megs at once and didn't get under half hp before they were finished off.
2:50 if u dont have any scuba gear in the bottom of the ocean you will drown

The basilo takes damage when it is deep because its body is not meant to handle the high water pressures that are present in the depths.
Dude, this series is going to go for so long because he is going through literally every dinosaur

King of deep but he keeps damaged if it is too deep xd
Yeah, but the damage is negligible and they heal instantly when surfacing.
@@doomrider7 i know but he still Takes damage at too deep
when's the next ark story? love this series too btw
Basilos are my favourite creature :>
I need to tame them

They cannot tolerate deep water pressure so that's why they take damage when you dive deep enough.
Keep up the good work
pls cj its electro-floor-us pls 3:06
Best content creators .
Been meaning to tame at least one of them.
Another great vid!
Sick video, love this shit.
How the he’ll do you not have 20mil subscribers
Because a lot of his content is centered around ARK and not everyone is into ARK?
Is anyone looking at his oxygen stat? It goes down so slowly
King of the surface
Basilo is the best like u cj
You play on a ark map 44 the island
4:38😂
When will be the story time
Next is the beelzebufo(frog)
Mine died to stingrays
Hi CJ pls make a video about breeding like why should we do it.... Best way etc.. I am new to ark and having trouble breeding
You just need
A cage
A female and male of what you wanna breed
Campfires
A lot of food
Inventory space
Feeding trought
@@AintFella It's a little more complicated than that depending on WHAT you are planning on breeding.
use an itchy instead
Can you do a ravager A-Z
Wait for it
Ok
Yeah he is going in order for the most part he accidentally skipped the argy but added it later
Just tamed one of these and I've got no clue what they do
