The light sync they do during the verse is so fucking cool live. Look at the video of them playing it in Montclair New Jersey, that's where I saw them and they just looked like gods looking down on us
Trust me they would not sound anywhere near as heavy as they do without their bass player. The way his lower ends backup the 8 strings in the more dynamic riffs makes them sound all the heavier.

he has written a lot of the material on their latest album, and adds to the fullness of the band’s sound, as any bassist in any band does.
Obzen wouldnt sound the same without it considering its tuned half a step UP from the guitar on it so you can hear it better.
