Thank you! I was about to ask someone from task rabbit to help me bit figured I'd try youtube first 😅 and do you think that big sheet (uncut) would fit a balcony door?
Great question. I think is all depends on the age of the frame your putting it on. I will have to do a follow up video showing the results. It is a possibility that the tape may remove some of the finish.
I hope so as well, if you have old single pane windows it might. Please let me know what you experience, I'd be interested to see how these preform in warmer climates.
Great question, you can blow dry it too much and it will cause it to shrink an pull away from the tape. I didn't have any issues where it shrank more, however you can play it safe and and leave a little slack. That way if it does tighten up more it will have room to stretch
Looks like he might be missing a step. There's a strip of tape already on the plastic which is supposed to be placed at the top of the window. I think he's using 'duck' brand.
Correct I did use Duck Brand. If you already have tape on the plastic for the top then you may just need to measure and cut the plastic before applying. However you might still need to Pply tape to the sides. Not sure if the kit your using is pre-measured? Do they sell that?
@@TheFreedomProvider I doubt 'duck' brand sells pre-measured kits. I understand from viewing your video that you had some scraps left over, so what you were doing made sense. I initially looked at 'duck' brands' and then came across yours, so that's where I'm making the comparison.
Well I could have simply done it in 5 minutes and not recorded it, but then we would be having this amazing conversation. Plus it typically takes more time to articulate actions into words. I encourage you to try it and do better than me.
To add what @TheFreedomProvider said in the comment, this is a tutorial installation video that also includes helpful tips. Moving through the installation steps too quickly will make the instructions more difficult for everyone to understand. The pace of this video was perfect for me because I learn by watching people do stuff and this video did just that at the right pace.
Very helpful bro!!
Glad it helped!
Great video! Easy home repairs and such would help this single 58 year old woman...😊
I hope this tape comes off!!! I have been told by others that it does. This is my first time doing this!
It came off fine for me.
Thanks man. 👍
You're welcome

No clue honestly, best bet is to measure your door. Remember, You will want the uncut sheet to be slightly larger to tape it on.
When time to take off, is it hard to take off the double sided tape? Will it ruin the finish of your frame?

You're welcome.
Thanks will check this out.
Thank you so much for the video! Does this help blocking outside noise at all?
Thanks for watching. I don't think this will block outside noise very much.
Thanks!

Your welcome
I live in the desert in CA and it’s too hot in the summer, hope this can help me.

People say if you blow dry, the cold winter air eventually shrinks it even more and it pulls from the tape. True??

Will it work in summer?
I imagine it would work better than nothing.
Only one thing more iyou could have given is when getting the paper to come off double sided stick tape

Why did it take you 13 minutes to explain a five minute job?
