About the Speaker
Dr. Alexei Savtchenko completed his kinesiology and health science degree at York University in Ontario, his internal medicine residency training at the University of Toronto and cardiology residency in Calgary. He then received fellowship training in echocardiography at Mount Sinai Hospital/University Health Network in Toronto. Dr. Savtchenko is completing his final year of fellowship in cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
