I lost my much loved Norwegian Forest cat, Ragnor last May and a day doesn’t go by when I still look for him. He was my shadow and went everywhere I went. He loved getting in the car and going for a drive with me. Sending hugs.
I am so very sorry about your sweet dog. It's heartbreaking to let them go. My gray tabby had been fighting advanced kidney disease, and had a stroke on Tuesday morning. We had to put her down later that day. It's the hardest thing about adopting a pet. It never gets easy. Hugs to you and your family.💔

I am so sorry!!! This sounds exactly like what happened with my sweet short legged Jack Russell…he was one of my children and it broke my heart! I hope that you know that you did what was the best for him, you were ‘his’ everything for all those years and that is a blessing. It does get easier…but it SUCKS! 😢

Sorry for your loss u popped up on my feed as a reseller I’m following and sending it full send out dog past away 6 years ago had him for 12 plus years it was the hardest thing to do to take it all in I understand everything completely anyways get them sales find happiness all over again we cremated out doggy so he always with us selling and packing items up and sorry for all them packages chewed up that was our chicooo hahha

I cried listening to you, Rod because I have lost so many of my pet/furry family members over 40 + years. You will NEVER forget each and every one of them. I also watch an unrelated cooking channel called Mandy in the Making that teaches budget friendly down home recipes. They had a grey tabby cat named Gracie Lou that hung out in the kitchen making her presence known for anything involving cheese. They incorporated much of the show around her. Anyway, about two weeks ago, they lost 19 yr old Gracie Lou just before hurricane Helene. I sobbed like she was my own even though I'd never met her or the family. My long winded explanation is to simply reassure you that many of us in the reselling community can't afford pets of our own due to the economic downturn. We've become attached and consider y'all friends and mentors. Please know that prayers have been sent to ease the heartache. Blessings, K.T.

Hi Rob. My 2 co-workers are (were) 2 tiny kitties. Gizmo and Little Kitty. On September 12 we said goodbye to LK. We were told that his liver cancer had metastasized to his lymph nodes, he had fluid in his lungs, and he was having seizures. He had many ups and downs over the last 3 years since his original diagnosis, but the final progression happened so fast!! A couple weeks earlier we were told that his bloodwork looked great for a 13 year old cat. A tiny 8 pound little fuzzy guy leaves a very big hole!!! Gizzy and he never got along in the 10 years we had both of them but she walks around the house now meowing for no apparent reason. No one to fight w/ her and hiss at her. 🙄 I'm so sorry for your loss of Jack. I understand the hole he has left in your home, your family, and your heart!!
Stumbled on this video. Must have been recommended. Or maybe I watch alot of resellers because that is also my full time job. Anyway I lost one of my dogs to cancer about 2 months back to cancer. He was only 6 and he had lymphoma. It is still very hard each and every day. He similarly was in good health passed his yearly no problems, then my daughter found a lump on his throat. Man its awful. I do hope there are happy days ahead. Take time to grieve. And keep his memories always fresh in your mind.

Just had a similar experience.. took my dog (border collie) of 10 yrs to the vet for what I thought was a simple skin rash, after blood work they said her health was unsustainable. (Had to come home with her in a doggy casket!)... Totally unexpected!! They are in Heaven happier than we know, without a doubt. God Bless!

Oh man, I'm sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you! Having gone through this just a couple year's ago I truly understand. Our pets really are so incredibly important. Some days my girl is the only one I talk to. 19 years is quite a blessing but I know wasn't even long enough. OMG man I lost my Dog (Child/Best Friend) in Nov. of 2021. My heart truly breaks for you. My Dogs are my Kids, I would die for them. My wife tells people all the time I love them more than her....LOL. We do not have kids and that is why our dogs are so much closer than I guess normal, they get all my time, and attention. I am hurting for you my friend, as soon as you brought up your pets I started tearing up, I knew what you was gonna say being a reseller myself, I am always with my Doggies. Be safe with the Hurricane man, I have another thing in common, I lived through 3 Hurricane with the biggest being Hugo in 1989 in South Carolina. Praying for ya bud.

Same thing happened to my dog in May. Everything was wrong with him quickly. He was with me 24hrs. a day. I miss Buddy with my whole heart. It is going to take time. So sorry for your loss.❤

Hey man I am so very sorry. I work as a veterinary receptionist and I always have a hard time knowing what to say. It’s never right or wrong. But it enticed me to want to do better. I just became a certified pet loss grief and bereavement specialist. I’m leaving this comment for you so you know there are things like that out there. I was in the field for years before I even found out there was such a thing. There is nothing like the bond between a pet and their owners. I wish they could live forever. We love you! I'm sorry to hear that you lost your pal, buddy, loyal friend. We lost our little Molly 3 years ago and it broke our hearts. One day a couple of months prior she suddenly fell to the floor and couldn't get up. Her balance was shot and when she finally was able to stand she walked in circles. We took her to the vet and he said put her down. We couldn't do that so we took her to another vet and she gave her a shot of valium and we took her home and she slept for a few hours. A few days later she walked into the wall and her eye was discharging some fluid. We went back to the vet and got some eye drops but the vet said put her down. We took her home and a few weeks later she died in our arms. She is buried in our garden and sometimes I sit near her and talk to her. Molly was 16 years old and we still miss her. I'm sorry for your loss and know how much you miss your little mate. 🇦🇺

They are our babies that give us unconditional love 24/7 no matter what. I believe they are gifts from God. Beautiful souls that are here for us to show us how true love should be. It’s so unbelievably hard. I just try to think where they might have ended up if we didn’t have them. I find peace in knowing that they had a wonderful life with us and were truly loved and appreciated. Again, I am so sorry for your heartbreak. How heartbreaking, so very sorry for your loss. We lost our hamster in February and even though he was just a little dude it was the biggest loss. We still talk about him as if he was here and my daughter still hasnt put his stuff away. Pets are definitely like family and sometimes even beter. You're a great pet dad! ❤
I had to do the same several years back with my "Lil brother" Peanut and I thanked him for giving me so much love and happinessvand told him how much I loved him as he faded off to sleep.. Your little buddy knew you two loved him and yall definitely did the right thing by stopping his pain. Now, you guys really need to gtfo of Florida if that storm is headed to make landfall near you (ya gotta rip out that pride and realize that surge is not to be messed with) I watch mikes we ather page (he just so happens to live in Tampa bay, he is saying if you have been told to evacuate, do it).. You don't want to be put in a scenario where you lose anymore of your loved ones, I know the idea of traffic sucks but it will be way better than the alternative as this has been labeled the worst storm to ever approach Florida. Thank you for the kind words about Mr. Jack. As for the hurricane, I am far enough inland that we are not in a storm surge area. My wife works at the hospital and she is currently on Call with the hospital. We are safe and not being stupid. I appreciate your concern. This storm is scary. It is different than the others.
My husband and I sat in a room with our 2 grade school age children and our cat that we saved from under our neighbors porch. We spent some time with her and we each held her and kissed her good bye. They took her away and that was our last time seeing her. I understand how you are feeling.

Sorry for your loss. 19 years with his favorite person is a great life! When my ex-MIL's pup finally lost quality of life she asked me to take him to the vet because she couldn't. There are support groups too. If you need to evacuate GO there are places in AL and MS offering places for people with pets especially! Extra prayers! Doesn't Kat have a good tax person?

Sorry for your loss u popped up on my feed as a reseller I’m following and sending it full send out dog past away 6 years ago had him for 12 plus years it was the hardest thing to do to take it all in I understand everything completely anyways get them sales find happiness all over again we cremated out doggy so he always with us selling and packing items up and sorry for all them packages chewed up that was our chicooo hahha

I cried listening to you, Rod because I have lost so many of my pet/furry family members over 40 + years. You will NEVER forget each and every one of them.
I also watch an unrelated cooking channel called Mandy in the Making that teaches budget friendly down home recipes.
They had a grey tabby cat named Gracie Lou that hung out in the kitchen making her presence known for anything involving cheese.
They incorporated much of the show around her.
Anyway, about two weeks ago, they lost 19 yr old Gracie Lou just before hurricane Helene.
I sobbed like she was my own even though I'd never met her or the family.
My long winded explanation is to simply reassure you that many of us in the reselling community can't afford pets of our own due to the economic downturn.
We've become attached and consider y'all friends and mentors.
Please know that prayers have been sent to ease the heartache.

Hi Rob. My 2 co-workers are (were) 2 tiny kitties. Gizmo and Little Kitty. On September 12 we said goodbye to LK. We were told that his liver cancer had metastasized to his lymph nodes, he had fluid in his lungs, and he was having seizures. He had many ups and downs over the last 3 years since his original diagnosis, but the final progression happened so fast!! A couple weeks earlier we were told that his bloodwork looked great for a 13 year old cat. A tiny 8 pound little fuzzy guy leaves a very big hole!!! Gizzy and he never got along in the 10 years we had both of them but she walks around the house now meowing for no apparent reason. No one to fight w/ her and hiss at her. 🙄

Stumbled on this video. Must have been recommended. Or maybe I watch alot of resellers because that is also my full time job. Anyway I lost one of my dogs to cancer about 2 months back to cancer. He was only 6 and he had lymphoma. It is still very hard each and every day. He similarly was in good health passed his yearly no problems, then my daughter found a lump on his throat. Man its awful. I do hope there are happy days ahead. Take time to grieve. And keep his memories always fresh in your mind.

Just had a similar experience.. took my dog (border collie) of 10 yrs to the vet for what I thought was a simple skin rash, after blood work they said her health was unsustainable. (Had to come home with her in a doggy casket!)... Totally unexpected!! They are in Heaven happier than we know, without a doubt. God Bless!

Having gone through this just a couple year's ago I truly understand. Our pets really are so incredibly important. Some days my girl is the only one I talk to.

OMG man I lost my Dog (Child/Best Friend) in Nov. of 2021. My heart truly breaks for you. My Dogs are my Kids, I would die for them. My wife tells people all the time I love them more than her....LOL. We do not have kids and that is why our dogs are so much closer than I guess normal, they get all my time, and attention. I am hurting for you my friend, as soon as you brought up your pets I started tearing up, I knew what you was gonna say being a reseller myself, I am always with my Doggies. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your pal, buddy, loyal friend. We lost our little Molly 3 years ago and it broke our hearts. One day a couple of months prior she suddenly fell to the floor and couldn't get up. Her balance was shot and when she finally was able to stand she walked in circles. We took her to the vet and he said put her down. We couldn't do that so we took her to another vet and she gave her a shot of valium and we took her home and she slept for a few hours. A few days later she walked into the wall and her eye was discharging some fluid. We went back to the vet and got some eye drops but the vet said put her down. We took her home and a few weeks later she died in our arms. She is buried in our garden and sometimes I sit near her and talk to her. Molly was 16 years old and we still miss her. I'm sorry for your loss and know how much you miss your little mate. 🇦🇺

I’m so sorry for your loss. Our babies are our family. If you know- you know. I’ve lost many through the years and it never gets easier. They are our babies that give us unconditional love 24/7 no matter what. I believe they are gifts from God. Beautiful souls that are here for us to show us how true love should be. It’s so unbelievably hard. I just try to think where they might have ended up if we didn’t have them. I find peace in knowing that they had a wonderful life with us and were truly loved and appreciated. Again, I am so sorry for your heartbreak. Your little buddy knew you two loved him and yall definitely did the right thing by stopping his pain. Now, you guys really need to gtfo of Florida if that storm is headed to make landfall near you (ya gotta rip out that pride and realize that surge is not to be messed with) I watch mikes we ather page (he just so happens to live in Tampa bay, he is saying if you have been told to evacuate, do it).. You don't want to be put in a scenario where you lose anymore of your loved ones, I know the idea of traffic sucks but it will be way better than the alternative as this has been labeled the worst storm to ever approach Florida. Thank you for the kind words about Mr. Jack. As for the hurricane, I am far enough inland that we are not in a storm surge area. My wife works at the hospital and she is currently on Call with the hospital. We are safe and not being stupid. I appreciate your concern. This storm is scary. It is different than the others.
My husband and I sat in a room with our 2 grade school age children and our cat that we saved from under our neighbors porch. We spent some time with her and we each held her and kissed her good bye. They took her away and that was our last time seeing her. I understand how you are feeling.

Oh Rod, thank you for sharing! I’m sorry for your loss and can certainly relate to the emotional roller coaster losing a pet causes (I lost mine at 18 years). Mr. Jack won’t easily be replaced but find peace in knowing he’s waiting for you at the rainbow bridge!

When my ex-MIL's pup finally lost quality of life she asked me to take him to the vet because she couldn't. There are support groups too.
If you need to evacuate GO there are places in AL and MS offering places for people with pets especially! Extra prayers!
