- I have been spending time with my Fiancee Therine. She has been very busy with her social enterprise Likhang Maragondon... and well, we have both been in many meetings and catching up on life errands!
This video is just a simple look at two places in Cavite, the Province she grew up in here in the Philippines. One is a city that is home to the administrative capital and also happens to have some sad and intense history. Another, is her hometown of Maragondon. Her cousin is putting together and building some riverside villas... and we had a chance to check one out!
Just a raw day in our lives here in Cavite.

Just came across your channel. I am a 71yo South Australian retired with my Filipina wife of 14 years here in Imus, Cavite. We have our own house and lot and a car, although I hate driving here! My wife is originally from Southern Leyte and speaks both Tagalog and Bisayan (Visayan). I am trying to learn Tagalog but probably too old to learn, just know key words atm. Have passed thru TM a few times usually on our way down to Batangas. I love the food here too and luckily my wife is a great cook! She has 3 kids from her first marriage and 7 grandkids who have all accepted me as part of the family. The kids all call me Daddy Lolo Ted. Love it.
I suffer from severe depression, compound PTSD, w/ social anxiety, and this video was the most relaxing part of my week. Thank you.

Have been catching up on life errands recently and spending time with Therine. This is just a little look at a day in Cavite, and checking out the new villa resort her cousin has been busy working towards. That’s my Grandpa’s hometown from the early 20th century - Marigondon. He married a woman from a nearby town of Naic. A trivia about Naic - it is one of the seven towns of the Philippines who’s names were used to name several craters of Mars.

Hi Kulas. Glad to see you visit the beautiful province of Cavite. I was born and raised there. You have to visit Noveleta and experience walking on the hanging bridge there and visit Kawit and see the old house of our first President of the Philippines Emilio Aguinaldo, very historic place. You will never forget it. 😀

Trece Martires was formed from the different towns in Central Cavite every brgy is named after the 13 martyrs. actually before the 2000s it is kust a quiet city with little population but some relicated residents in manila were transferred there from diffrent cities of Manila making it one of the high rising urban cities in cavite.

Maragondon aside from being bamboo town which I am used to while I was a kid in Tagaytay. it came from a myth of a earthquake sound Madagundong or shaking. its a complete town actually with mountains truvers plains and sea most upland towns continuously is in rural vibes in the progressive province. anyway checkout nearby Nasugbu there is a famous binignit like style shown in Biyahe ni Drew. They call it PInindot.

MY BROTHER & SISTER NLAW MUCH MORE FAMILIAR WITH CAVITE, THEY DO PLENTY STUFF & SOME BUSINESS GOING ON AS THEIR INTO AGRICULTURE VENTURES OR ECO TOURISM, AS WELL AS INTO WATER SPORTS IN BEACHES AROUND CAVITE TO BATANGAS. AH! THE PROVINCE IS MUCH MORE A BETTER SPACE THAN URBAN AREAS BUT ALL IN ALL, PHILIPPINES HAS GOT BOTH WAYS & MORE FUN AHAHAHAAA! Ah we run around in the neighboring town Kulas, I’our is General Trias next door. Eh there’s nothing wrong of having a house in 2 different towns one for work ing, one for vacationing, Therine is such an interprising person that she can be successful in any town, I admire that she has a passion of being independent, yet she’s always at hand to support you too and you to her ❤️😎

Does Therine speaks chabacano de Ternate, or Tagalog? (There are 2 types of Chabacanos in Cavite, Cabacano de Ternate and Chabacano de ciudad de Cavite).

My great grandpa Isidoro Martinez was one of the 1st governors of Cavite. All his kids were born in Cavite.

Therine seems to have a lot more stable projects going on where she lives and she also seems to be close to her family, so unless she actually wants to live away from them, I hope you'd strongly consider moving to her hometown with her instead of making her move to Mindanao for you. Otherwise it would seem rather unfair to her.
