There was a time I was having a mental breakdown in class, I was a senior and I overheard a freshman comment saying that I was "too old to cry". Don't let people tell you that, there is nothing wrong with letting out emotions, people go through things and it's natural to let it out. It's also healthier to let it out rather than bottling it up and throwing it away. My advice tip for mental health with stable grades is to just seek help, nothing wrong with admitting that. Your mental stability matter much more than grades. :)
There was a girl in a social sfudies class i had jr year or whatever and she came in crying like days at a time and i DESPERATELY wanted to ask but i also really didnt wanna make it worse, so i was just nice 🙃
as someone becoming a freshman and also cries a lot, whoever said that is a- not good person 🙃 seriously though, "too old to cry" is such a load of crap
I remember being an edgy kid and writing “I hate life” on a table. I came back the next day and there was another person’s handwriting saying, “it gets better!” It was so wholesome
one time i drew a person saying ‘i wanna die’ on a school paper i was supposed to turn in and forgot to erase it and got called into the office because of it lol
Honestly, I’d carry my baby if I had one at my graduation. Imagine birthing a child and raising them while still in highschool and you graduate. That’s an achievement
We had a few incidents that could be considered "the incident" at my high school. 1. One kid drowned in the school pool which resulted in a massive lawsuit 2. A state representative visited the school Republican Club, said an "inappropriate" comment, which made national news 3. 3 kids OD'd in the middle of class on cold medicine and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance 4. Another kid died in front of the school was hit by a car after dark during a game of chicken and died
There is one “incident” I remember that happened at my middle school. It was during lunch and a kid 3 or 4 tables away from me and my friends started seizing. The teachers saw this and rushed over. Everybody was moved out of the cafeteria and to their next period classrooms. Later we saw the kid being rolled away on a stretcher into an ambulance in front of the school. They showed up at school again after a bit.
I know this is a year-old video, but I figured this could still be good advice for anyone going through the comments. My brother graduated college a bit ago. I once asked how he managed it all (only 20% of his class actually graduated; it's a tough school). He told me that this one wallpaper he kept on his computer throughout all of college kept him from dropping out multiple times. It was from a show he loved; it had a simple quote: “The moment you think of giving up, think of the reason you held on so long.” *To anyone going to college soon (or is already in college), if you think it’ll help, you should get your own piece of motivation; something you can look at when you’re questioning whether you can get through this or not.* It seemed to help my brother a lot when he needed it, so I figured it might be useful to at least 1 person.
Nah, i started karate 2 years ago, it made me healthy and i have some good fighting skills, and i have a stronger jawline and a better body shape so i dont get bullied, you should it out 😂
FunFact! The whole *’My spoon is too big!’* is actually a line from the film ‘Rejected’ by Don Hertzefeld released in 2002. Considering your school probably took place in the early 2000s it makes sense why your teacher was obseesed with taht one piece of dialogue. _(For those of you wondering, Rejected was like the early 2000s version of ASDF Movie)_
@@ang3l_gutzz Well teachers tend to be pretty old so I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up spending his golden years in the early 2000s watching Rejected by Don Hetzerfeld
“My spoon is too big” is a reference to a 2001 animated short film that won plenty of awards called “rejected”. Your art teacher was truly a man of culture.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who remembers this reference! Although legit, it was rough trying to explain who Trogdor was to my students. smh. I’m so old.
My favorite memory from school was these popular boys were, like, “players” i guess. they would switch what their cush was every week, so me and my friends started joking around like, “oops guys, forgot to change my crush for today” or “guys, I’m sorry, i’ve had a crush on a girl for two days” and we’d all crack up and laugh until the bell rang for 6th period.
Finishing junior year was the biggest relief of my fricKInG life Tip: junior year doesn’t matter as much as teachers tell you it’s actually not too big of a deal

College tip. whatever classes you can take at community colleges, do so. You will save money and won't have to deal with the crippling anxiety of student debt. Also stay with parents if you can.
Yes community colleges are the best! In 2 days I will be in my second year of college. Also a tip: APPLY FOR FAFSA!!! Because you dont know if you are qualified for Grants. I've applied for FAFSA and I got grants to cover up to my Bachelors.
At my sister's high school only one girl got pregnant but I think the fact that *she went into labor during class and had to be taken away in an ambulance kind of compensates for it.*
For me Highschool was an experience. When I was in six grade I was bullied everyday I was beaten up and they even broke some of my things including my glasses. I was happy when I finally went to high school since I changed school. 7th grade was my greatest year in high school I became a straight A student and I met people that ultimately became my friends discover my love of books but everything just went down after that year. Memories from me being bullied suddenly resurfaced affecting my studies and my life also my life at home didn't help me at all. My dad tried to Migrate our family to New Zealand but that didn't work so my dad went back home with no job and in a massive debt. That affected him and my mom they became much more violent since then. I'm now in 12th grade. My final year before I go to college. If you talk to me when I was in 7th grade I'll most likely want to be your friend and talk about anything but now after so many anxiety attacks, being bullied, and being treated like crap. I'll be the same as what I was in 7th grade but it's just a facade that I put now just so nobody can see the real me, hurt and broken.
Gerfsaderfs Me and my brother were in a same school that was INSANE. When I was in grade 3 a kid brought a knife that he “found” and threatened to kill us cause he didn’t have friends. He didn’t want friends. When my brother was in grade 1 a kid started smoking cigarettes in his class. 😬
I was 17 senior year (born in 96) dated a sophomore she was 16(born in 97) had I dated freshman (born in 98) would that have been weird based on age? ( I would never have dated a freshman because it's creepy they look like kids and are super immature but 2 years even in highschool age wise basically 1/2 grade levels wasn't weird to me) tldr some freshmen are 15 some seniors are 17
If there is a big age difference between the senior and freshman part of me just assumes the senior is doing this because young freshman are easy to manipulate... Bad assumption I know, but it happens way too often.
@@undefinederror40404 Yeah I often assume that too. Or because younger teens, usually girls, often strive for older men's approval and think it makes them mature if some Weirdo uses them for an easy hook-up. It's sad but it happens.
Y'all dropped this video a year before I started high school. Since then, I've watched it again after every year of high school, just to see how things held up and compared to my experiences. And now as of 2 weeks ago, I've graduated. It's just strange to me to think that it's all done already, like it feels like only yesterday that I was walking into the building for the first time in my sophomore year after COVID (because C.O. 2024 had our freshman year virtually.) And I know you probably won't see this, but thanks for being part of my annual tradition for the past 4 years :)
Just wanna say that the whole “My spoon is too big” is a reference to a short by an artist named Don Hertzfeldt. It’s from his rejected commercials short. It’s a very popular and surreal animation and worth a watch. Glad your art teacher had a sense of humor! :)
Yes! I got so excited to hear that but disappointed they didn't get the reference. It was a staple meme in the early days of the internet. The guy who made it was even nominated for an Oscar twice for his work.
"My Spoon is Too Big" can be seen at th-cam.com/video/W7JyjZI3LUM/w-d-xo.html , in HD, apparently having been remastered. My less mature cousin showed me this this thing years after it was a thing and I was like "why was this a thing?". No for me the "AllYourBase" was probably the first thing I actually associate with Viral-meme's. Thanks Newgrounds.
I can totally relate to this so much ;u; you end up straight tired at noon. But if you are taking difficult classes, or the ones that require you to study and do so much homework.. actually you are going to see the benefit of finishing the lectures before 1pm and having the rest of the day to get the stuff done before your sleep. I think it really depends on how is the situation with your classes and your preference. In my schedule I have 4 classes Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can have a rest between the days.
I don’t really agree. It helps me get my day over with and I’m out of class by 11 or 12 and can work for the rest of the day. I’m not much of a morning person but as long as I shower in the morning I’m good. You want a hard class try taking a 7am class.
I've managed to scrape through 9a.ms but the thought of 8a.ms makes me want to cry like no you wont survive you poor poor people. Tbh my 9a.m classes are barely attended so I cant imagine 8a.ms
In Canada we can't choose the hours when we study, everybody study at the same time in high school and elementary.(Btw,we have no middle school cuz there are 6years in elementary and 5in high school)
@@mahadidi6142 they're talking about American college/university, where you pay for your classes but get to choose which ones and when. American high school, middle school, and elementary have standard set times.
I got lucky on my junior year because halfway through the pandemic came in and my teachers were pretty disorganized at the time with classes. It's impressive how much stuff I got off the hook from. However this just made my senior year the most excruciating. And the fact that it was full virtual made it the more painful, although I will say I did find and take advantage of some faults and loopholes in the system (they fixed it in the end tho, that wasn't fun)
Best tip for high school: “Don’t ever, for any reason, do anything, to anyone, for any reason, ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you’re with, or where you are going, or where you’ve been, ever, for any reason whatsoever” - Michael Scott
Congratulations, you watched the video! For this big accomplishment, you get 1.2k people around the world to like your quote which you just copied from the video!
Advice for college: • Don’t be scared to switch your major to something you’re more interested in • Figure out the how you study best (groups, flash cards, lots of example problems, reading the book) • Have a set time for homework/studying and turn your phone off during it • Take advantage of every free thing they give away because your paying for it • If you’re struggling in a class, go to your professor’s office hours or go to the tutoring center • Workloads for classes peak at the same time (at my school at least), so know how to manage your time when it peaks
• go to soe parties. You don't have to attend all, you won't be cooler because of that, but you can meet so many upper classmen, who can help later on, and it is just a general bonding event for you and your mates. • don't party if you have important classes the next day, it just won't work • never be afraid to ask for help. There is a saying that our upper classmen say to us a lot that is trurly imortant: "You can graduate from university a lot of ways, but alone." • if you are a party person, always go with friends and never leave each other alone
I know I'm SUPER late to this video, but as a highschool sophomore, the part about people being way nicer than you think is so SO true! While it's true some people are asses, the overwhelming majority of them are eager to help where they can. Just this Friday a girl approached me and said she sends out links to study guides that she PERSONALLY DESIGNS (since we have a test every week in that particular class) and all I needed to do was ask for it. I'm not saying you should expect overwhelming kindness all the time, just don't be so nervous to ask for help if you're just going into highschool.
I legit started high school and 3 days in we’ve already had one arrest, one fight and a food fight. Each on their respective days. I have hopes for Monday.
Wtf highschools in France are so boring compared to that! Also why does highschool seem so terrible in the US? It is like the best part of teenage life so far, and everyone around me is sad to leave highschool next year. So why is every american complaining about highschool? I want to know the difference!
Tips for college: Don't procrastinate on long term assignments. You might get it done, but you will hate yourself for being so stressed if you're too near the deadline. Use professor's office hours to ask about what you don't understand. They will clear things up for you in ways you could not expect and most are happy to have students taking their lessons seriously. Participate in something. Preferably a club. If one doesn't exist that suits your interests, make one. It helps you make friends and gives you a place to wind down when things get to be too much for you. Sororities and fraternities aren't the devil incarnate, sometimes they have very nice people. Just know you're going to spend a lot of money on them and will be doing a lot of extra work for fundraisers, not all of which help the community as much as the frat/sorority. It can also be hell to escape if you wind up not liking it. If you have ADHD, Aspergers, etc. there are programs to help you. Take advantage of them. If you haven't been diagnosed but have the symptoms, get tested somewhere. The worst thing you can do is let that stuff go unattended. You will get burnt out when all your struggling yields no progress and then college will become too much of a chore to even continue. Have access to a crisis help line. I've found help from this line: 741-741 text HOME to start a conversation. College can be a prime time for depression to set in. Having access to someone to talk to can make things a thousand times easier. That's it. That's all I've got for now.
Advice for college (seriously) 1. Only take 8am classes if a) you live on campus and it's no more than a ten minute walk or b) it's the only option you have. 2. DON'T STRESS ABOUT A MAJOR!!!!!!! Most colleges allow you to go undeclared until your junior year, so take advantage of that (most freshman take all the same gen-ed classes anyway). 3. Think before you register for classes, make sure that all or most of the classes you're taking are graduation requirements. 4. Make sure your schedule is balanced and logical, i.e. don't take all five of your classes on MWF just to have TTH off (you will regret it). 5. Take advantage of your academic adviser, it's literally their job to help you out, and they can give you good suggestions on classes that you would have never thought to take. 6. You can't avoid essays (unless it's like, math or something), most classes have at least one or two essays assigned that are a big portion of your final grade, so it's not something you can slack off on. If you're not the best at writing essays then there are a couple of things you can do: a) start early, this may seem dumb, but getting a head start on a big paper is a great idea and it can give you time to write multiple drafts before it's due; b) don't be afraid to ask someone to read it for you, a fresh pair of eyes can catch glaring mistakes that you would never have noticed. 7. If you ever have questions or need help, then ASK!!! I can't stress this enough, you're not going to look stupid for getting help, and it will save your grade. 8. It's okay to switch majors, don't stress about it (I was a biology major for my first two years, then switched to Art History, and I was fine). A ton of college students switch their major, it's absolutely normal. 9. All professors are different (shocker, I know), you have to make sure that you're flexible enough to succeed under all different types of teaching (Also, check the online learning system (it's called different names at different schools, but most people will know it as D2L), teachers post announcements and assignments there all the time). 10. Most importantly, just be smart. Don't go to a big party the night before an 8am exam, don't write a ten page essay two hours before the due date, and please, for the love of god, don't skip your classes. Attendance is important, even if your prof. doesn't take it, just going to class will improve your test grades and will show your prof. that you're serious about your academics. Sorry for being so long-winded, but I hope this helps. I'd be happy to answer any other questions anyone has :)
@@madisontucker649 Okay, so, time management really depends on the person, but (as someone who was really bad at it) I can give you a few tips on what worked for me. 1. Do small assignments immediately (the day they're assigned, if possible). This will keep you from forgetting about them, and it will keep them from piling up. 2. Since you don't have class on Friday, use the free time to start on big assignments. 3. Try not to focus on more than one big assignment at a time, it will stress you out and the final product won't be as good. Even if a big assignment seems like a long way away, go ahead and start thinking of ways to tackle it in case another class assigns something. 4. MAKE A TO-DO LIST!!!! Procrastination, for me, came about when I didn't know how to start something, so break it up into parts and assign them to different days. I.e. 'on Friday I'm going to study pages 1-5, on Saturday I'll study pages 6-10' and so on. Trying to do things all at once will overwhelm you. 5a. TAKE BREAKS!!!!!! Taking breaks is always important, especially for someone who likes to procrastinate. Set a timer for yourself to break up study/homework times (30 minutes of study, 5 minutes break), it really helps, I swear. 5b. Reward yourself for finishing big assignments, a trip to the ice cream parlor, a new pair of shoes, doesn't matter! Find something that motivates you to finish and stick with it. Good luck with your classes, I wish you the best!
I just officially graduated from HS yesterday, and I’d really like to share some of my experiences in high school. 1. My grad class (800+ students) were freshmen when the pandemic hit. Halfway into our freshman year, we were being told that our year pretty much ended. Our entire sophomore year was spent doing distance learning. While most people struggled during this time, I actually loved doing school online because I got to sleep in, eat whenever I liked, wear whatever I wanted, and I never had an issue with learning through a screen. I forgot how much it sucked to be around people when my Junior year came around. 2. I guess the pandemic had an impact on my class’ emotional maturity. We spent our underclassmen years by ourselves, and most didn’t grow mentally. Juniors acted like freshmen, and seniors acted like sophomores. In fact, my class were the ones starting the most bloody fights in school as seniors, when normally it was the freshmen who gave the most problems. 3. Speaking more about fights, my school had so many altercations that Instagram pages were made specifically for the fights that happened. In the cafeteria, in the bathrooms, outside, everywhere, and one got so bloody that one kid got his piercings ripped out, and blood gushed down his face and onto the floor as the two boys duked it out… over a girl 🤦 I have a lot more stories, which I’ll add to my comment chain over time.
Really? I just started junior year like 4 weeks ago and I was really close to having an emotional break down one time. One friend of mine already had an emotional break down.
I do t think it was just your school, I went to the hardest public school in my state, it was REALLY hard, I had just gotten all the exceptionally hard classes over my first and second years, like chemistry and physics (our order for science was phys, chem, bio) by the time junior year came around I was taking easy classes, either that or I finally managed my mental illnesses and started high functioning again, any of which could be possible circumstances
I'm starting junior year next week and I'm not that concerned. Freshman year was when my social anxiety developed so I don't think junior year can be worse. I've gotten good scores on the practice standardized tests though so I'm not that worried about those.
"What's the weirdest thing you've seen a teacher do" CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. like damn that's so weird... teachers who CARE? (Literally all of my elementary school teachers + my 7th grade teacher were like "oh you're bullied and nobody talks to you. Nice.")
"What's the weirdest thing you've seen a teacher do" Hide under a small desk, scare a nother teacher, jump on said desk, and throw glitter at us. (said glitter teacher is a good friend of my mom, my mom was the teacher that was scared) Break into me and mom's house and scare mom with a Jasen mask. So me and mom poured 700lbs of sand on her patio^-^

My favorite high school memory: There were these two morons that would make out after school in the same spot every. single. day. right in between me and my best friend’s classes, and they were the kind of people that would wear matching relationship shoes (I’m not joking they were bright yellow high top vans) but halfway through the year they switched from making out to fighting at their spot and me and my friend would stay for like 15 minutes just to watch what they would do that day. Seriously it was hysterical like me and my friend would be commentators like ‘oh she ain’t wearing the banana shoes he did something’ and then we would watch them fight for the next 10 minutes about how he slept with her sister and then the next day they’d be back to making out like nothing happened. I swear it was like a reality tv show but actually real.
I remember in 7th grade, as I was going to my connection class for math, I saw these 8th graders making out beside the doorway of a classroom. In my mind I was like: oh please already🙄🤣
I love coming back to this video, it came out when I first started high school and now I’m in college. I think it definitely described a very specific time that’s sort of gone because the landscape of the internet changed so drastically from 2018-19 to 2020 and the pandemic shifted so much. 2019 is such a different time than 2023, I really wonder what high school is like now.

It’s so strange because this video came out the year I was going to be a freshman. Now I’m gonna be a senior in the Fall. Thank you Kelsey for getting me through High School!
Biggest tip for college is find people in your major to group study with. Just one or two people who you can go over questions with before an exam really does help. Good luck to all college freshman this fall, you got this!
What if we are indecisive for our major? Like, we haven't chosen one yet, do you have any tips on who to hang out? All my friends are going to another college, sister sad:(.
@@londraaa.a2619 Being undecided is fine, it's way better that throwing yourself into something you're unsure about. And there's tons of other kids that start off undecided as well, so you're not alone. You can of course still be friends with someone who isn't the same major as you, you just might see them a little less. Clubs ,however, are a great way to meet others with common interests. I met most of my friends through a club that trained service dogs. Most schools have clubs for everything and anything so it can even help you explore majors and make friends. Hope this helped some!
tbh i had a friend group but by the time we got to high school we had different classes and they did no effort to stay friends. especially when a "tragedy" hit and i was clearly depressed as they saw and they just didn't seem to care anymore. i feel like they ditched me. and we were incredibly good friends. like family as kids but i guess we were not real friends after all. sad but true.
i feel u man, i feel like thats whats happening for me right now as im starting freshman year, kinda scared about it im not good at making new friends :(
I understand, I had the same exact situation happen to me. not only did they ditch me but they disrespected my family and me and started being a-holes towards me for no reason. I trusted these guys like brothers and then during one of the worst periods of my life which was when my grandpa, and dog died, and my entire family got covid 19 which hospitalized my mom and nearly killed her, these “friends” didn’t seem to care at all and started spreading crap about my family and the school band program that I’m in. The worst part is that I think they still think that I’m dumb enough to think they’re my friends and still pretend to be my pals. Some people can be a-holes, it just might take time to realize it.
So Im studying animation and I currently attend a pretty ‘big’ art college and here is some of my advice: • If you have the means to live on campus, pls do. You’ll be closer to the equipment you need.(I’m a commuter so trust me) • Gather every social media from all the people in your major as quick as possible. Connections matter. • I believe crying is healthy but you should NEVER cry in front of your professors. They will think less of you. (I know this from personal experience) • ‘Fake it til you make it’ will help you go far. Hope this helps. Note: I’ll update this if I think of anything else.
If you're on a course where each subject requires you to produce an essay then I recommend the following: 1) Start with the essay that needs to be done first as you'll have the least amount of time to write it. Also pick a topic that you understand or is easy to research. 2) Learn how to cite sources to avoid plagiarism. 3) Being able to quote a source is a high school level skill. Being able to analyse a source (explain why they said this and how reliable this source is) is a college level skill. 4) For dissertations you not only need to analyse sources but add to the volume of academic literature. This means that after analysing all of your sources you have to be able to come to a conclusion regarding the question you proposed at the start of your dissertation. Also don't be afraid to say that more research is needed if you can't find any information relevant to part of this topic.
The fact that I’ve watched this video at least 4 different times in the past few years I always find it again 😆 I love this video so much so anyways have a good life ✌️

We had a few incidents that could be considered "the incident" at my high school.
1. One kid drowned in the school pool which resulted in a massive lawsuit
2. A state representative visited the school Republican Club, said an "inappropriate" comment, which made national news
3. 3 kids OD'd in the middle of class on cold medicine and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance
4. Another kid died in front of the school was hit by a car after dark during a game of chicken and died
Is your school cursed? Like sheesh that’s a school record
3 was me, but they called my dad and made HIM drive me, worst car ride of my life
Oh my goodness gracious
That sounds traumatizing. 2 kids killed? And almost more? Geez my condolences to them
There is one “incident” I remember that happened at my middle school.

My brother graduated college a bit ago.
I once asked how he managed it all (only 20% of his class actually graduated; it's a tough school).
He told me that this one wallpaper he kept on his computer throughout all of college kept him from dropping out multiple times.
It was from a show he loved; it had a simple quote: “The moment you think of giving up, think of the reason you held on so long.”
*To anyone going to college soon (or is already in college), if you think it’ll help, you should get your own piece of motivation; something you can look at when you’re questioning whether you can get through this or not.*
It seemed to help my brother a lot when he needed it, so I figured it might be useful to at least 1 person.

FunFact! The whole *’My spoon is too big!’* is actually a line from the film ‘Rejected’ by Don Hertzefeld released in 2002. Considering your school probably took place in the early 2000s it makes sense why your teacher was obseesed with taht one piece of dialogue.

I hope you’re doing well now. Good luck in life!

The seniors dating freshman bit is weird because like an 18 year old is dating a 14 year old. Also I agree with them not finding someone their age.

Thank God someone commented this... I didn't feel like typing it all out.
Yes! I got so excited to hear that but disappointed they didn't get the reference. It was a staple meme in the early days of the internet. The guy who made it was even nominated for an Oscar twice for his work.
I was like do they not know what this is from??!!
"My Spoon is Too Big" can be seen at th-cam.com/video/W7JyjZI3LUM/w-d-xo.html , in HD, apparently having been remastered. My less mature cousin showed me this this thing years after it was a thing and I was like "why was this a thing?". College tip: *DON'T TAKE 8AM CLASSES.* You've might've had class start then when you were younger, but *now is different.*

Advice for college:
• Don’t be scared to switch your major to something you’re more interested in
• Figure out the how you study best (groups, flash cards, lots of example problems, reading the book)
• Have a set time for homework/studying and turn your phone off during it
• Take advantage of every free thing they give away because your paying for it
• If you’re struggling in a class, go to your professor’s office hours or go to the tutoring center
• Workloads for classes peak at the same time (at my school at least), so know how to manage your time when it peaks
Also, figure out the general idea of what you want to do. Switching your major a million times isn't the best.
@@Schnort This^^ cuz honestly not everyone can afford it
• go to soe parties. You don't have to attend all, you won't be cooler because of that, but you can meet so many upper classmen, who can help later on, and it is just a general bonding event for you and your mates.
• don't party if you have important classes the next day, it just won't work
• never be afraid to ask for help. There is a saying that our upper classmen say to us a lot that is trurly imortant: "You can graduate from university a lot of ways, but alone."
• if you are a party person, always go with friends and never leave each other alone
I know I'm SUPER late to this video, but as a highschool sophomore, the part about people being way nicer than you think is so SO true! Tips for college:
Don't procrastinate on long term assignments.
Advice for college (seriously)
Grizzly Gates this is so helpful THANK YOU
@@madisontucker649 Okay, so, time management really depends on the person, but (as someone who was really bad at it) I can give you a few tips on what worked for me.
You deserve *waaay* more likes. This is great advice for college and LIFE. Thank you 😁

In the cafeteria, in the bathrooms, outside, everywhere, and one got so bloody that one kid got his piercings ripped out, and blood gushed down his face and onto the floor as the two boys duked it out… over a girl 🤦
I have a lot more stories, which I’ll add to my comment chain over time.

Ugh
Honestly, my junior year was my easiest year, my freshman year was my hardest (simply due to the depression and crippling anxiety)
Really? I just started junior year like 4 weeks ago and I was really close to having an emotional break down one time. One friend of mine already had an emotional break down.
It's just my school i guess:/
I do t think it was just your school, I went to the hardest public school in my state, it was REALLY hard, I had just gotten all the exceptionally hard classes over my first and second years, like chemistry and physics (our order for science was phys, chem, bio) by the time junior year came around I was taking easy classes, either that or I finally managed my mental illnesses and started high functioning again, any of which could be possible circumstances
my junior year was the hardest for that reason
I'm starting junior year next week and I'm not that concerned. Freshman year was when my social anxiety developed so I don't think junior year can be worse. I've gotten good scores on the practice standardized tests though so I'm not that worried about those.

(Literally all of my elementary school teachers + my 7th grade teacher were like "oh you're bullied and nobody talks to you. Nice.")
“What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen a teacher do”
She sat on a table and broke it. Then she blamed it on the honey bun she ate that morning. 😂
"What's the weirdest thing you've seen a teacher do"
Hide under a small desk, scare a nother teacher, jump on said desk, and throw glitter at us.
(said glitter teacher is a good friend of my mom, my mom was the teacher that was scared)
Break into me and mom's house and scare mom with a Jasen mask. So me and mom poured 700lbs of sand on her patio^-^
Time to put it down lol

My favorite high school memory:
There were these two morons that would make out after school in the same spot every. single. day. right in between me and my best friend’s classes, and they were the kind of people that would wear matching relationship shoes (I’m not joking they were bright yellow high top vans) but halfway through the year they switched from making out to fighting at their spot and me and my friend would stay for like 15 minutes just to watch what they would do that day. Seriously it was hysterical like me and my friend would be commentators like ‘oh she ain’t wearing the banana shoes he did something’ and then we would watch them fight for the next 10 minutes about how he slept with her sister and then the next day they’d be back to making out like nothing happened. I swear it was like a reality tv show but actually real.
lmaoo
LMAO PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS "oh she ain't wearing the banana shoes" VUBEDXUHDEUDH NOW THAT IS BEST FRIEND THINGS DO LMAO
I remember in 7th grade, as I was going to my connection class for math, I saw these 8th graders making out beside the doorway of a classroom.
In my mind I was like: oh please already🙄🤣
I'm on love with someone, and if we started dating, I would pray that we will never be those kind of couples

My school is only 2 stories but it's huge, I'm new there too haven't even started but I've been for registration and stuff, and it's big
Biggest tip for college is find people in your major to group study with. Just one or two people who you can go over questions with before an exam really does help. Good luck to all college freshman this fall, you got this!
Madison Tucker I’m so sorry for your loss

UNTIL YOU REALIZE YOUR ALMOST AN ADULT
tbh i had a friend group but by the time we got to high school we had different classes and they did no effort to stay friends. especially when a "tragedy" hit and i was clearly depressed as they saw and they just didn't seem to care anymore. i feel like they ditched me. and we were incredibly good friends. like family as kids but i guess we were not real friends after all. sad but true.
i feel u man, i feel like thats whats happening for me right now as im starting freshman year, kinda scared about it im not good at making new friends :(
I understand, I had the same exact situation happen to me. not only did they ditch me but they disrespected my family and me and started being a-holes towards me for no reason.
@@AndyLeff I'm so sorry that happened to you. I guess some people are 2 faced and don't deserve good friends like us.

Imma make mine: OH DARN I FORGOT MY BABY ON THERE
So Im studying animation and I currently attend a pretty ‘big’ art college and here is some of my advice:
• If you have the means to live on campus, pls do. You’ll be closer to the equipment you need.(I’m a commuter so trust me)
• Gather every social media from all the people in your major as quick as possible. Connections matter.
• I believe crying is healthy but you should NEVER cry in front of your professors. They will think less of you. (I know this from personal experience)
• ‘Fake it til you make it’ will help you go far.
Hope this helps.
Note: I’ll update this if I think of anything else.
tyty I feel like I'll need this advice ;^;
What's art school like?
TheSandyLyricist Art school is really fun. The freedom you’re given helps you figure out your strengths and weakness.
If you're on a course where each subject requires you to produce an essay then I recommend the following:
1) Start with the essay that needs to be done first as you'll have the least amount of time to write it.
Me reading all the tips when i'm 13 like i'm going to memorize them
