Friendship should be able to bring happiness [Buddha's way 12]

Love means friendship, and friendship should be able to bring happiness. Being a friend means giving happiness. What's the use of friendship if you can't bring happiness? If love fails to give happiness and makes others cry all the time, it is not love, not Maitri, but the opposite.
