Kobe did good; this is a terrible MU for Young Link.
Yeah bounce alone makes this matchup seemingly unwinnable. Rough matchup for sure.
Idk, I think most of the top Yinks put it as even but BMP was able to really keep KOBE out this set between bounce and just well-placed/well-used spells in general

No, Yink players say it is even and to take it further even with bounce Link still has better boxing tools.
Hero has a very limited combo game on top of slow aerials, Yink has far better aerials especially for safe shield pressure. Truthfully on paper even with bounce Yink should be at advantage, but the amount of adjustment one needs to make to fight Hero when he cast bounce is enough to throw off even the best players so it is even.

Having better boxing tools doesn’t salvage the matchup for Young Link. Young Link is still perceived to lose to Shulk and Cloud, both of which he also technically out-frame datas. Hero’s still faster than Yink, outranges him, and can KO Yink off the smallest mistakes with Kafrizz or buffs active. Bounce is an excess nail in the coffin that’s already six feet under.
