We have owned 2 AWD Astro vans and still have 1. As for the AWD, I found / find they are the best show vehicles ever. I have owned big 4x4s, F250 x-cab, Broncos 4x4s, full-size 4x4 van, and more, and find the AWD astro outperforms them all. If they still made them, I'd buy another. The only thing I hate about them is, working on / repairing them, is a real pain. If you work on them yourself be ready for a long day, if you take it to be fixed, be ready to dig deep.
Fuel pump failure is a very common problem on the GM vans, especially the ones with the spider fuel injection and most often caused by running the vehicle with less than a half a tank and the pump starts to overheat and fails and contamination in the fuel and the only thing you can do is replace it

Thanks for this video.
Your Welcome

Thanks for your ASTRO fuel pump video. My astro is 2000. Maybe a larger tank. What is bad on mine is that pressure sensor 😢
@@jamesblakley8803 I'll check mine
You have a filter on the lower end of the fuel pump. They get more and more coated and clogged up. The more fuel in the tank creates more pressure...
@@jamesblakley8803 Makes sense, thanks.
I've just got an 86rv/van. Ineed all the videos I can watch. But i dont understand why it has four hoses coming off that fuel pump
@@Jamie-ju5zb what make and model?
1. Fuel to Engine. 2. Fuel Return to the tank. 3. Breather hose going to the filler neck. 4. Vent to Charcoal Canister.
