Actually I was thinking that since the 5th generation is heavily inspired by the 1st generation, I hoped Teddy would bring “the 1TYM-like group” into this generation. Obviously it would have to be done in modern way, but still… something like Young Posse’s XXL, that is a perfect example of what I was hoping for MEOVV’s style (music-wise). And sure… those were just my hopes, but even besides that… Meow is just trap focused song, which you can hear in pretty much most of the new school hip hop songs.
They are minimalist, chic and cool, that's a very welcomed energy right now specially when kpop is used to be so full of information and crazy concepts
I think everyone need to stop to think that "good music" is "easy-listening", i mean, music is universal and experiment, its imposibble to make 1 kind of songs, every song can be good atleast you know how to enjoy it. and thank you for this reaction, a thing we always need to hear and watch

I love the song and fun fact: Gawon, the second to sing and the first to rap (the one on the motorcycle) was a YG trainee, she trained with Babymonster. and from what we have heard she sings incredible and she has that energy, Narin was also amazing, for me they were the ones that caught my attention, alongside with sooin the main (i guess) dancer. And even though teddy didn't produce the song, it has that cool sound, i'll be waiting for more music from them
