Im 64. I start watching this and in about 20 seconds Im 22 and back in college just hammering it on this tune. Fucking scary what a killer track can do to you.
Seriously Dude!. I hear this song and Im right back in the passenger seat of my uncles 69 Mach 1 Mustang as hes got one hand on the wheel, the other guiding the shifter through the gears and the smell of burning clutch and rubber fills our lung while the sound of engine, squealing tires and this song fill our ears.
in my time, trooper was called APPLE JACK, they were among the best bands for our high school dances you could get. We had Prism, we had Heart (they were unknown up here) all were true 70's/80's and we bought every damn thing they put on vinyl... we had the best music bar none
In high school living in the Pacific North West we could get Canadian radio stations. Trooper played thier first American concert at Lincoln Theater in Port Angeles WA. It was so awesome and pulled out all the stops and put on such a rock show never to be forgotten!!!😊
Fanboy from way back in the day. Congrats to Trooper on their recent induction into the Canadian Music HOF. Looks like Doni is wearing one of his old “Fludd” band tops (another underrated 🇨🇦 group) and Tommy looking like Lanny McDonald (🏒) in the off-season laying down the beats,
Watching this, I flashback to Carole Pope for some reason, lol! My Canadian bands were full of pomp & circumstance, and I loved every stinkin' minute!!!
4 months up on TH-cam and only 444 views?? Crazy. I love Trooper and I cannot think of a single song of their's that I don't like. American fortunate to be raised on Canadian border so unlike the majority of Americans, I got to be raised on the best rock and roll......Canadian Rock.
Charlotte, I am Canadian raised on the American border and it goes both ways. We were also blessed to have the best of both worlds. It was great, wasn't it?
I gave their record "Two for the Show" (1976) to a girl I liked in high school in Prince George cause she said she liked Trooper. She was definitely a 9 all day long. Hi Marion I still think about you. Mike
Wow i remember blasting this song in my camaro with the t tops off cruising the streets back in the day . oh if only that car could talk lmfao great times cheers .
I remember seeing Trooper in 1981 in Dawson Creek, B.C. and when they were going to play this song, Ra asked if anyone who knew the the words to the song wanted to come up on stage and sing along. About 10 people got up on stage and they started the song, but about a minute and a half into the song, he had everyone stop singing. He asked the girl next to him if she knew the words to the song and she said that she did. She said that it was a Queen dressed up as a nine. So Ra started the song again with her lyrics. That was a good show with them. Over the years I have seen them about 7 times and they always put on a great show. One of the best bands that I have ever seen in small venues.
I need more COW BELL :):):) MY first concert was Trooper and Prism Sarnia Township Arena. Cop took my joint and smoked it in front of us.What a blast What a great memory. 76 i think
My nephew was a busboy at Lulu's back in it's heyday. He always made sure to work when they played. Said they were the best band ever to play there and more fun than you could imagine.
We are sixty. We hear the music; we are suddenly back in the SFU pub on Thursday nights. Actually, we will be seeing Trooper live in Parksville BC tomorrow night! We are young again, man!
crazy part is how did the good ol USA miss these guys. They should have sold tens o millions o albums. Did in C Land! millions that is! this song is still Kill in 2024!@!! are you listening Instagram ladies with men !
My first concert was Trooper. The deadbeat crowd never applauded after each song. Just silence and feedback. I'm sure every band hated playing there. How embarrassing.
72 yr old BC boy, loving the memory!

Yes so true
Crazy how a song even though haven't heard it in decades can make you smile and just shake your head in awe.

Loved these guys, remember seeing them in Halifax back in the day .
I like "I don't like being told what to do" trooper likes anthem songs
Watching this, I flashback to Carole Pope for some reason, lol! My Canadian bands were full of pomp & circumstance, and I loved every stinkin' minute!!!
I remember Carole Pope and Rough Trade.
Good songs there. Also she did a duet with Paul Hyde of the Payolas. Another fine Canadian group.
I think Ra is wearing the same outfit that she wore in the "all touch" video.

You in Buffalo young Lady? You know great music when you hear it 😃
Montana. Two hours away from Regina Saskatchewan and 13 miles from Canadian border.

this song brings back many memories driving up Hwy 400 in the 70s with my old Ford Marquis.
I was cruising the same highway in my 72 Plymouth Satellite.

My first concert was Trooper!
They were my second concert about a week after seeing Max Webster.
Man, Canada had/has some great bands.
I know ALOT of Americans who think so too.
The problem I have is I can’t just listen to the song once lol replay and replay again lol.
Seen them live back in the day , great concert, I'm still blasting this song cruising in my car 😀😀
He is the Canadian version of Mick...we don't have many artists that strut like that!
My nephew was a busboy at Lulu's back in it's heyday. He always made sure to work when they played. Said they were the best band ever to play there and more fun than you could imagine.

I wouldn't criticize anyone else's looks if I were him!!
Underrated band!!!
This came on when i was driving my 12 year old to karate. Her jaw dropped. No way this would have been released in this age of body positivity
Interested to find out why. Nowhere in the lyrics does it say she's fat or ugly.
@@CrosscutFilmsSask welcome to the woke age, where even Lizzo is a 9
@@CrosscutFilmsSask LOL how literal do you need lyrics to be?
Sweet's, Fox on the run, and this amazing tune is todays kryptonite for the woke left. lmao.
Yep, something else for them to label as "problematic".
@@Sucker_MC lol

Usually after they’re married 😆

LOL as all members are so short they can only get 3s
I know her!
Was watching US pre election and this song came to mind, wished Trump would've played it in Kamala's honor at his rallies
wheres the lyrics
Good song too bad there is a video to ruin it
I grew up on this, and the losers that get offended, you are insulting everything about where you come from.
They would be woman haters now days
This song sucks.
