Foxbury Student Housing can accommodate 6 students and has all the necessities for your sim to be a successful student including 2 research machines. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen as per the University Game Requirements, Dining, Lounge and a study area as well as entertainment areas.
It is no longer necessary to use the move objects cheat when placing lots built with the cheat on, however, I still recommend placing lots from the lot and not the world map. It is also better to place the lot on the lot it was built on, placing on another lot can change terrain paint and cause objects to disappear. If objects still disappear, enable moveobjects

One of the greatest thing about your builds is that you can really combine the functionality of the gameplay and the aesthetics of architecture and interior design. Very impressive genius! And thank you for that. 😊😄😁
Thank you so much Teri! It is really important to me that the build be playable , so sometimes there are things I don't do because I'm thinking about how it looks with cutaway walls or walls all the way down or having too many objects and the lag it may cause, so there is a ton of thought involved trying to balance a good game play experience and realism, it's not always so easy haha!

Can we just agree that Schnuck is one of the best Sim builder here on TH-cam? Omg the level of design is so intricately gorgeous. Plus the narrative afterwards. Schnuck needs more recognition. Schnuck can hook your interest without single stupid commentary.

playtested until graduation. now that's extensive xD This build and the uni life montage at the end makes me miss my own time at uni - cept my dorm didn't look anywhere near as beautiful. Also the editing you did at the entrance, with the sliding doors and the mailboxes, those were my favourite parts here >< Thank you again for sharing!

I had to watch this video twice. The first time I was so invested in the animation of furniture placement and the video editing that I couldn't pay attention to the build. So much dedication to the build, the content, the storytelling and the editing.

Thank you, I don't use reshade in videos - the lighting in my videos comes from a heatwave in the game from Seasons, then I do color corrections in my editor =)

Such a cool build video. The only thing missing is an actual realistic lecture hall or classrooms (and auditorium) because they didn't include it with the pack for some reason. This wouldn't be too bad if they would have at least given us a couple of empty lots. Either way, I can see using this build as it's way more interesting than the one that comes with the pack, lol.

Thank you! Sizing down a dishwasher leaves the countertop but removes the counter making a floating counter that I put cubbies from Dream Home Decorator in =)

Love! Why did you put dishwashers to make the raised desk in the one room?
Thanks! If you size down a dishwasher in a counter it makes the counter disappear and leaves the counter top - that is how I put the cubbies in it to give it a raised desk appearance.

There is no custom content in this build - If you're talking about the art/photos that is "No CC Art" - I don't use CC because I upload all my builds to the gallery =)
What is the point of the dishwashers at 5:07? I know the counter is for a workable surface but what do the dishwashers do?
From the looks of it they are supposed to have the top of the counter stay without the rest of it so it looks like a floating table
Yes, that's exactly what they do, they make the counter invisible and leave the counter top.

@@Schnuck01 That's true, but I've never seen someone do that. I'm from the Netherlands and literally everyone bikes anywhere, but I've never seen a bike parked like that. Let alone multiple. Is it common where you're from?

How do I place this
Download it from the gallery, go to Maritime Manor lot in Britechester, bulldoze the lot, open library and click on the place lot button on the build - you may need to enter the cheat bb.enablefreebuild if you are unable to edit the lot.

Scaling down the dishwasher makes the counter disappear and leaves the countertop - the dishwasher isn't accessible - I have blocked it, you don't even know it's there, it just gets rid of the counter and leaves the countertop.
Because there are 2 counters there that I made a desk out of and only wanted to use the countertop, I wanted to add cubbies there which isn't going to work if you can see the counter. Sizing down a dishwasher in the counter removes the counter and leaves the countertop.
