@moralfographia I will give it a go. I'm not going to translate the lyrics, since you can google those. Ok, here goes nothing. ''KGB is maybe my favorite song to play live. it is a real kick when it works. It was written on a nylon guitar like this'' *starts to play* ¨The song has got the same beginning as many of the other songs. The song varies between major and minor chords.¨ ¨We had a lot of fun with major and minor chords¨. ¨and then starts the solo¨. Interviewer asks what the song is about. ¨KGB is from the Maestro album, so it's about Dieter Meyer institution. all the songs are set inside the institution on that album. And KGB tells the story of the young boy that escapes in the song die Polizei, from Germany to Poland with a suitcase full of cash, or documents, with the police after him. It's about him who knows that he doesn't have any worries when he gets released from the institution, he has a plan. because he know he has got work in the KGB. he will get work the second he gets released from the institution. No worries. he just want to work. We like to sing about that to. we sing about it, and have backing vocals¨ ¨knows he's got work in the KGB¨. Its really cool to sing about that we know we have work. in KGB. hope this is understandable I will see about Begravelsespolka another day.
@moralfographia Begravelsespolka translates to funeral polka. ¨Begravelsespolka is maybe the best Kaizers Orchestra song in the entire discography. we think so, and we know many other thinks so to. because the song has everything we try to and we have tried to accomplish what we have succedded with here in every album, but we never really made it right before now. The song is so easy made with just hammering the piano, bass and drums. *starts playing piano* just that, what will happen now? something begins. that was how it started for me. Now there is time for a gypsy melody. that goes in major and minor. and in half notes to collide with the rythm and the feeling of the song. and then it became like *Piano but now with right and left hand playing*. *Then the melody gets stripped down* ¨Here you must say something¨. ¨It sounds like a story, and that is an example of how I often write. you just hear that something is going to happen. We must tell a story. We have melodies between every line. and with a huge chorus. after all this the chorus starts with a russian choir. and you also have tapdancing later on. we didn't make that with the piano.

Heldige di som fikk "Ompa til du dør-prototypen" songe i bryllupet sitt🙂
Omg his speaking voice is just as gorgeous as his singing voice x.x
C'est un génie! Et Kaizers le meilleur groupe du monde! Jeg elsker dem og jeg vil lære norsk. Takk for musikken! Yves fra France
Begravelsespolka er DEN sangen som deffinerer Kaizers Orchestra. Som Janove selv sier det er den låten der alt funket.
Saknar Kaizers till Max, har sett nog 20 konserter med dem
