I am seeing this a bit late but I appreciate the way Craftsman has such a useful tool and container system. I just purchased the Craftsman Tradestack yesterday 6/22/2021 and I am impressed.
I appreciate the depth of the storage options from various brands you covered, then came to the logical conclusion that more interconnectivity between the brands (such as industry standards in android smartphones to be USB C or Micro) is good for the consumer. I hope we see more brands realizing that true trades people who do real work aren’t loyal to a specific brand. They just want reliable equipment that will deliver the expected results and not break on them before the job is done. Perhaps my metaphor of a more symbiotic inter connectivity of tool storage could be extrapolated to the human condition. It’s okay for things to come from different places and look different - as long as they work together and do what is necessary. Thanks for the vid, glad I just found your channel and can explore more. Take care.

Forgot to add. That is one nice thing about packout system. Able to buy the “feet” & add to other cases for it to adapt to Milwaukee packout system....which is pretty nice if can find & use, imo. Have it on some of my older Milwaukee organizers that aren’t packout organizers, but now are, cuz of the feet I installed on them
The dewalt tstak system and craftsman versastack system are the same system in different colors. You can attach the boxes to each other really easily which is great if one goes on sale.
This past X-Mas I bought 3 of those Dewalt bit kits with the new clear lids , and just like everyone else I thought they were great , but within 30 days time the locks on all 3 cases had broken . So I don't know if they upgraded the plastic and made it stronger , but those old cases were junk . Just a heads up .....✌ Be Safe ....😷

Did you notice that the bit holders in both the Craftsman and De Walt boxes are dove tailed exactly alike so that you can mix and match within the boxes?
I have the 450 piece tool set craftsman was lucky to get it under $200 at Sear plus $100 gift card (4 installment). It was last year Black Friday sale. I thought it was a great deal. This was before the Sears my area closed down.
Now here's what I'm wondering can you snap 2 in front and 2 in back so its level to stack something on top like the dewalt tstack since the tstack and versa stack are compatible
No the only way to keep it level would be to use the medium sized DeWalt organizers, which will stretch from the front to the back of the Craftsman tool set. There is no way to make 2 small one stay on there front to back, only the one bit set on the front of the tool kit.

I find it hard to believe Craftsmen would add that feature out of the kindness of their heart, do you think Craftsmen is going to come out with their own small bit boxes that will latch on to the big one?
They are there, go to our videos tab, you'll tons and tons of them under different playlists for Kitchen, for bath, for tiling, for wood floors, for plumbing. Couple of nights ago we uploaded a video on changing out washing machine valves.
I have that same set from Costco $29.99. It will only snap onto others of the same size, this is not Toughsystem, nor s it t-stak, it is it's own size and connection.

Those small Craftsman/Dewalt bit cases also clip on to the sides of the Craftsman versastack ratchet set.

Good point! I looked into that last year and the parts are expensive enough to make you just buy the packout version of the organizer.

Yes the top of the craftsman drill bit case has a second latch at the rear for those long rectangular half cases.
