IHC and HIC is the same thing IHC stands for integrated headset compression and HIC stands for headset integrated compression so technically the correct one is IHC

I just bought some affinity basic T bars and I dident get a slit and I don’t have scs
If I buy an oversized bar ICS , did it fit with any fork ICS or there is a special fork ICS who can only fit with oversized bar

I purchased a set of Affinity standard bars for my grandsons scooter. It fits the forks with out the shim compression. but if we dont use the compression shim it doesnt hold and gets lose very quickly.. How can we fix this? Please help. Thank you
It might can be that you bought a wrong compression, to the fork. You can send us some pictures of the scooter parts on email@skatepro.com so we can take a look at it and help you with this problem.

You'll need to exchange the fork for an SCS compatible and also get an SCS clamp.
im getting the kos heist s4 which is ihc and since the bars are to high i am buying extra ihc bars of my size will they work because i havent seen the kos bars with a slit but i am 110% sure the scooter is ihc compression if someone could help it would be awesome

Hi. Yes, you can use it but on one condition, namely you have to use the oversized bars which are compatible with SCS forks and compression systems (A bar without a slit).

Yes, it fits but only if you use a standard HIC compression system which is compatible with a Phoenix Oversized bar as well as with your Apex Scooter Fork.

It doesn't matter what deck you have when it comes to buying a bar. The thing is, that you have to consider buying a fork and compression system which are compatible with your bar.

You will not be able to use an oversized IHC/ICS bar with a HIC fork, since the inner diameter of the these bars are smaller than the ones of HIC bars - For IHC/ICS you will need a fork that is compatible with these systems.

Hi. In general, the SCS bars don't have a slit so we assume you've cut one, right? In this case, it might be possible to use HIC.

Hi. When it comes to choosing a width of your bar you have to keep in mind that riders have different preferences. As a rule of thumb, scooter bars should have the same width as your shoulders. If you prefer a technical style of riding with many tricks (barspins) you should definitely choose a narrow bar, but on the other hand, if you are more a big air and no hands trick rider then choose a wider bar. No, IHC can fit standard bars. They fit all bars with an inner diameter of Ø28mm -except SCS bars. HIC on the other hand, requires an oversized bar.

Hey :)
You can use most oversized clamps except for SCS clamps. When choosing a clamp it is important that is isn't taller than the cut in the buttom of the bar.

RiddleMeThis yes if it's a standard size. Oversize scs bars will become hic unless theyre aluminium. Aluminium bars have a standard inner diameter with oversize outer diameter, because aluminium is a bit weker than Steel, so thicker means stronger.

Hi Ethan. The Blunt Reaper Bar is compatible with IHC compression since the inner diameter of the bar is Ø28mm. So you can't use HIC (with an extra shim around the fork), because that would require a bar with an inner diameter of Ø32mm.

The thing with SCS bars is that they don't have a slit. HIC bars always have a slit. Besides that, HIC is always oversized and SCS can be oversized or standard :)
