What do you guys think about the assault double shear radius rod bracket kit for the can am x3 since I already have it on before I found out about your kit

It is better than nothing but we see them loosen up in racing. I would keep them. If you find your hardware loose a couple times then I would change them for our TLS kit.

I can’t catch you guys live to ask a question as I’m working, but my question would be, what’s your guys’ take on belts? Do you guys have fans installed to keep the temperature down? Do you leave the cover off? Are there better or worse belts? Or do you guys not have any issues with belts because you install a new belt for every race and A new belt will last an entire race at full throttle?
Feel free to respond here in text or in an upcoming throw it out there Thursday.

Good questions. We don’t use fans. In out testing all fans flow less than the natural air pump action of the clutch itself. Because of that a fan restricts airflow at full throttle. Adding an extra port usually upsets the airflow of the clutch cover and makes it worse at full throttle. These things can’t help from idle to half throttle but never at constant full throttle. Cover off cools better but we can’t do that due to debris, sand, rocks or water destroying the clutch or belt. Stock belts are best in our testing. New belts are important but the biggest factor is clutch tuning and parts wear. If the tune is right you can pin it with out issue. If the parts have any wear you will have bent temp and issues you can’t tune out of it. Hope that helps. 👍

Brandon said a pair of Dikes. My farther used to call wire cutters dikes. Good to hear the old saying again.

Dikes is short for "diagonal" plyers. The jaws intersects the joint rivet at an angle or "on a diagonal", hence the name.

"sultan of spring" has a better ring to it.
