Thank you for this beautiful song Alexander. It really means a lot to me especially because I am one of those people who doesn’t want friends and family to worry so I don’t talk about the things that hurt my feelings nor the thoughts that keep rushing through my mind all the time. When I get angry I just say that I’m hungry, when I cry I look away, when I disagree I stop talking, when I want space but I know the person needs me I’m still there for them.
i know it can be hard to open up especially when you're not used to it, but don't let your sadness eat you alive. sometimes all it takes is to say i'm not okay. being the therapist friend is rewarding but equally as draining, putting your feelings aside. i hope you one day have the courage to speak up

@@lovebug526 within the last 8 months I tried to focus on myself more and for once put myself first and what I realised was that asking for help is more than okay. It takes time to love and appreciate oneself but it’s really important bc you’re spending time with the person you are all the time xx!
I found this song today and this hits me hard. I always preach to my friends about how important it is for them to take care of their mental health but I’ve never been able to practice what I preach. Pretty hypocritical but I feel like everyone already has their problems and I don’t want to be a burden to others so I just keep all of my thoughts and feelings inside. I’ve internalised so much to the point that I can’t be left alone with my thoughts or else I’ll start thinking of doing the worst. Being in quarantine definitely hasn’t help but at least music sometimes comforts me
I can relate.I try to be the therapist for my friends most of the time no matter what happens to me, because I value everyone else over me and I see myself as a waste of space and time.Yet, i've learnt through a lot that taking care of myself is important as well.Still feeling bad but at least ive come to the realization that there's a lot ive learnt.

this song means more to me than i first thought it would. it kinda reminds me of my ex boyfriend (i broke up with him) he was always there for me when i needed him. it was like he always knew something was wrong and wouldn’t leave me alone until i told him what was wrong. he never judged me and he made me feel safe and loved. i loved how much he cared for me and i loved how he remembered those little things of mine. i love how i can always count on him for anything. it’s kinda sad now bc i feel he’s not okay and i feel like i’m the reason. kinda regret breaking up with him.....
