If we can get something good for Ja, great. If we keep him and hope he can stay healthy next year, that's great too. I like Ja, he's just made of glass, always has been.
The Hafley situation is very concerning. Why in the hell would we bring in a new DC and after just one year he is interviewing for NFL HC jobs. The Packers should have signed him to a contract that required at least a 4 year commitment. If he doesn’t stay for at least 4 years then it was a very bad hire for the Packers. How in the hell can the Packers expect to develop a high level defense if we don’t have coaching continuity in our DC or as in the past DC’s that just weren’t very good. I’m just really pissed that Hafley is taking HC interviews at this point. If Hafley was just using his DC position with the Packers to get his foot in the NFL door for a HC position then the Packers have been used very poorly. We needed a DC that was committed to the Packers for the long term. If Hafley’s real desire was to be an NFL HC, then he ends up being an awful hire for the Packers. Wasn’t this issue addressed with Hafley during the interview process? If it wasn’t, then GB’s management team really F-ed this up. If Hafley leaves then the Packers defense is back to square one again and the defense will have to start a new learning process from the beginning with their future new DC. And it takes a few seasons for the defensive players to learn a defensive scheme well enough so that they can play fast without having to think about what they are doing. Even though Hafley has had a very good first season there is still much work to be done for that group of players to reach their full potential as a defensive unit. How can the Packers realistically believe that they are “all in” or even capable of winning a championship without scheme and coaching continuity on defense (and offense also but ML provides this for the offense). How much success do you think the Packers (or any other NFL team) is going to have with a first year DC? NFL history shows you’re not going to win a championship under those circumstances. So what the hell are the Packers doing here? I would like to hear Guty respond to this situation. Regardless of the personnel changes that Guty makes to next seasons roster, the Packers aren’t going to win a championship if we have a new first year DC. All Packer fans should be concerned with this issue and demand some answers from GB’s front office!
I think Alexander will be back and I believe Brien when he says Alexander is just frustrated that he can’t stay healthy and stay on the field that would piss an any player off. and like you said the dead cap hit would be astronomical if we cut him.
Rumors are usually that, very rarely will any report like that come out to be true when the player’s actions have demonstrated completely the opposite. Why would Alexander try to work through a PCL partial tear if he didn’t want to be there or was unhappy? Doesn’t make a bit of sense in the context of that rumor.
Jaire gone, then instead of using our #1 pick on a #1 receiver, we'll then again use the first 3 picks on defense, then get another solid B receiver to add to the stable. We need a #1, period.
If there is a disconnection, there is no GM in the league that would admit that. It would being his trade value to absolutely nothing. I would believe a word a GM says about this
I'd at least want a 2nd Rounder for Jaire. I feel like anything else is giving him away. He's still an elite CB and should be healed going into next year. I think the Packers were expecting Jaire to play and maybe waiting on surgery, but he decided to get surgery before the playoffs preventing him from playing. Is that really a negative on Jaire to do what's best for his health? I don't think so. We need him back or it opens up another hole. As well as they played, I don't believe in a trio of Valentine, Nixon and Bullard long-term.
I’m asking Las Vegas what it takes for Maxx Crosby if not I’m calling Cincy to see what they want for Tee Higgins either way we need another big signing this season that’s gonna change our team
I believe the Aaron Jones situation was on Aaron Jones and not Green Bay’s front office. I believe he wanted a lot of money (probably more than Jacob) and the packers were willing to give him around 17-20 million which was doable but he bailed and went and signed with the Vikings for 7 million or so. I’ve read an article where they said they were going to pay him good but the ego he has was probably insulted by the Jacob’s signing
Trade him for what?! Some draft picks?! Don’t we have enough?? Jaire is only 26 and we have no better option at this point. He’s still a top 10 corner easily when healthy
if he doesnt take a pay cut, trade him. Hes so fucking good but that doesn't matter if he doesnt play, which he barely does. he's just taking up a bunch of cap space at this point.
A 2nd round draft pick and a swap that would upgrade a position... BUT, I think Alexander's injury history and big paycheck really limit what the Packers could get for him. Right now Jaire is an an over-priced asset!
@@Wyatt274except he did, that's why we had so much cap available last year and this year. Even with how good they did the last 2 drafts his overall track record is not good. I think he's done as a Packer. If I were another team interested in him, I would wait it out instead of offering a trade for him. They know there's a rift between him and the team. Gute will be forced to cut him, then within the hour, the Vikings will pick him up, and Ja will play all 17 games at the best level of his career. Also, it's been one season, and Hafley is already interviewing with other teams? WTAF is going on with the Packers front office?
Release him and stokes. Trade love, LVN and Wyatt for a day two pick. 3 guys who do nothing. Rebuild the rebuild or we can wait until it’s painted and the floors are installed then decide to burn it down.
Our offensive line is not very good and we need a #1 wideout. We have an excellent tightend but cant send him in a route because we cannot hold up upfront and he has to block and block longer, limiting his route tree. We need a #1 pass rusher and a #1 corner. We rely too much on average players and hoping they make a jump and either dont or cant stay healthy. Every game we lost it seemed Jlove had almost no time to go through his progression which during the course of a game and season lead to him forcing the ball because of the score and or being way behind the sticks, which also lead to bad habits. All our running backs made our OLine look far better than it was. We can beat average teams, but we couldnt beat the best teams even on are home field and that has been the case for years now. GPG!
Idk, when Jaire was cleaning out his locker he seemed to be upset. I think there is definitely friction between him and the team.... The way his injury was handled where he's a full participant all week but still cant make the roster, something don't seem right
He's toast. People praise his talent. Well, that's great if he's on the field!! Just like Christian Watson, I love the guy but they cannot stay healthy! Cut them or trade bait and move on...
The moment Gute suspended him last year, his days were numbered in Green Bay. Gute is a jerk and when he suspended Jaire, his agent told him to stand down, and now is the moment he's going to get his revenge on Gute. Gute needs to go, he's running off good players like Jaire and Jones. Aaron Rodgers was correct on how big of a jerk Gute is. He's not a real GM, he got the job by being friends with Murphy and the other oligarchs. If Gute would have just listened to Rodgers and got a top tier WR 4 years ago, Titletown would have another title. And for all you Love crusaders, you are in for a rude awakening over the next 4 years. Green Bay will not even win a divisional title with that inaccurate, back foot throwing, mid QB.
There are so many moves that would of potentially gotten us a super bowl. Drafting a WR, trading for a CB to bench Kevin king. Moving on from the special teams coach mid way through the season when it was clear he was awful, or even bhak not tearing his ACL. If he whiffs on another draft they gotta cut him loose. The only reason him and lafleur didnt crash out in spectacular fashion to start their careers with the packers is because rodgers was good enough to cover up their mistakes
Hopefully get a high first rounder draft Benjamin Morrison from notre dame get jt and sawyer from Ohio state get cam skataboo an maybe a few 2nd 3rd round wra bc ik we won't go get one early in the draft

All the talk about a rift was just that. Talk. There was never any evidence presented, so I viewed it as the usual muckraking. IDK how contracts are negotiated in these circumstances, but common sense would suggest you don't keep Jaire unless he agrees to some sort of proportioning of pay to playing time, either intra or inter seasonal adjustment.
You must be because nixon was above average all year as CB1. nixon has been great for us. There is a reason he was moved from nickle to outside CB1 and he still produced at a high level
He’s gone for sure. I don’t know if you listened to Guti but it didn’t sounds promising. Guti can’t say the truth or it ruins any trade value Jaire has. I think it’s pretty clear Jaire is gone

Yea im sure teams can't wait to trade for an injury prone immature waste of cap space that's hardly played in 3 years.
I was thinking about trading him and a seventh for Sauce or Surtain LMK your thoughts.
PS2 is not going anywhere anytime soon.
@@donovanjohnson4279 yeah the broncs need him lol
I've only had his jersey for a year can they not cut him 😭
Fair reasoning haha
Only thing I am wondering is how much they can get for him. My guess is close to nothing... 6th round and a happy meal!?
I say we move on from Jaire. The dude can’t manage to stay healthy.
If we can get something good for Ja, great. If we keep him and hope he can stay healthy next year, that's great too. I like Ja, he's just made of glass, always has been.
I understood from something I saw in which Gutie said he was not on the trade block
He's done. Save cap and get rid of him by June 1st.
A 2nd & a 3rd round draft picks. He's a good player and wish he stayed and played and remained healthy play every game
😂😂😂😂😂
We offered 1m less than the vikings. Nice head canon though
Trade him for what?! Some draft picks?! Don’t we have enough?? Jaire is only 26 and we have no better option at this point. He’s still a top 10 corner easily when healthy
Dont say restructure unless you’re ready to cut the player. So it’s in jaires court if he wants to stay a packer.
High to mid second rounder and a 5th or 6th but would rather see him back next year healthy.
I would love a Jaire Asante Samuel jr duo
We need ja money, hope he stays
if he doesnt take a pay cut, trade him. Hes so fucking good but that doesn't matter if he doesnt play, which he barely does. he's just taking up a bunch of cap space at this point.
You obviously didnt watch that eagles game early this year.
@@fvgc454ss i did. do you not remember the field being trash?
Dump the guy, cant pay somebody top $$$$$ and play 1/2 a year
A 2nd round draft pick and a swap that would upgrade a position... BUT, I think Alexander's injury history and big paycheck really limit what the Packers could get for him. Right now Jaire is an an over-priced asset!
i want a player not picks. i’m tired of gute missing on early picks
Good thing he’s not
@@Wyatt274except he did, that's why we had so much cap available last year and this year. Even with how good they did the last 2 drafts his overall track record is not good. The only position group he has done well in overall is oline. But I will give him credit for FA signings, he is one of the best at it, maybe the best
@ no, he didn’t
@@Wyatt274 lol. You got me man. Unprecedented argument you made right there
If they could get adams for a fair price i say do it !!! Even a jaire trade !!! Adams gots 4/5 yrs left !! Snag him for 1 or 2 !! Hes so consistent!! I think thats where packers stalled never the run game !!! WR most drops in the league lots of injuries but pass game died out !!! Packers needs a few vets WR DB DL and snag lineman heavy on boths sides in the draft and big physical DB not a stokes or a have seat ballentine a branch a physical DB packers DBs were soft this year they got bullied all season!!!
knowing Gute he's all about the next guy up, wouldn't surprise me if he moved on from Jaire.
they need to address everything...edge rushers, d-line and cb's🤦🏻
And wr
And if love don’t get his shit togethe rnext year qb too lol
sorry for what happened to you fiance bru that's not cool at all.
Davante is 35 million, hell no
Ja for a 1st, 2 2nds or 2nd 2 3rds
No Fing way dude. Never happening
Bas, you play madden on Xbox or Playstation?
Only if his girl can protect him and his homophonic rants
Release him and stokes. Trade love, LVN and Wyatt for a day two pick. 3 guys who do nothing. Rebuild the rebuild or we can wait until it’s painted and the floors are installed then decide to burn it down.
Jaire been hurt last 2 years he's not worth 27 million
3
Rip that bandaid already
The best ability is availability.
He's not had that ability near enough
Wassup bro I’m sorry for what happened to you & you wife I’m glad y’all okay and love the video #GoPackGo
Oh . You mean what they instigated? 😂😂😂
Too bad that outside of Jaire the Packers have never been that great at drafting and developing good corners
GPG!
Love was one of the least sacked QBs in the league what are u talking about. Jacobs also had no problems getting thru holes.
@fvgc454ss he was the best a AVOIDING sacks. What are YOU talking about? That has nothing to do with pressure!
@mypeeps1965 lol ok. When he was immobile half the season sure. get a clue
Idk, when Jaire was cleaning out his locker he seemed to be upset. I think there is definitely friction between him and the team.... The way his injury was handled where he's a full participant all week but still cant make the roster, something don't seem right
I didnt know about the full participant part
A first round pick and the third round pick
for Jaire
Adam's will be with Herbert, next season
Adams will definitely be a Packer again!
need to trade him after June 1st save the money get a 2nd and 3rd out of him or higher if we can
He's still in his prime.. for another 2-5 seasons.. so there better be at least a 1st rounder. And maybe a 3rd. There is
For a guy that's been injured for 3 seasons? Lol
Kind of hoping Davante comes back cause I have a feeling Romeo may retire
I do see him sticking around long enough to get a pay day and retiring not long after. And I wouldnt fault him one bit
Hopefully get a high first rounder draft Benjamin Morrison from notre dame get jt and sawyer from Ohio state get cam skataboo an maybe a few 2nd 3rd round wra bc ik we won't go get one early in the draft
As much as we love JA 💰 I think it's best to move on for both parties similar to the aaron Jones situation hate to see them go but it was the right decision I'm the grand scheme of things and at the end of the day it's a business #stingsbutpackerstrainkeepsrolling
Gotta keep him one more year but draft or FA his replacement
All the talk about a rift was just that. Talk. There was never any evidence presented, so I viewed it as the usual muckraking. IDK how contracts are negotiated in these circumstances, but common sense would suggest you don't keep Jaire unless he agrees to some sort of proportioning of pay to playing time, either intra or inter seasonal adjustment.
After the Jones situation unfortunately I don't believe much that Gutey says .
GOOODBYE! 👋🏾
Hey ur the guy that was harassed in Philly that's cool. I'm a packer fan to. Subscribed
Welcome his content is great. I’m surprised he hasn’t gotten more subs from that event. Been here for a few years.
Alexander for Tee Higgins.
Did you say Nixon played great???
Are you blind
You must be because nixon was above average all year as CB1. nixon has been great for us. There is a reason he was moved from nickle to outside CB1 and he still produced at a high level
Alexander is going nowhere
He’s gone for sure. I don’t know if you listened to Guti but it didn’t sounds promising. Guti can’t say the truth or it ruins any trade value Jaire has. I think it’s pretty clear Jaire is gone
If we trade ja im leaving too im no longer a packers fan
Sign Reed CB in free agency.
Trade jaire to Bengals for Higgins
Hey bas!!
Guess they will trade him for two 7th round picks 😂 smh
HUGE update 😂😂😂
Wild receiver
Nah you tweakin cv has been great this year big improvement
He's been decent. Not sure I feel great with him as sole CB2 with no depth or competition
Jaire needs to go! He is cocky and NEVER plays.
JA trade to the broncos (with surtain already they might take it depending on cap space) for 1st rounder. Take will Johnson from Michigan. Trade our 1st rounder to Vegas for maxx Crosby. Sign tee Higgins and either dhop/davante/Sammy Watkins and another veteran corner and strengthen DL OL CB WR in draft. Hello superbowl
Even if we traded ja, we would never get a first or likely a second btw, we would not he able to afford crosby and Higgins let alone any one else you mentioned
And Crosby would likely cost 2 first rounders
what a chump, he could have been the difference in beating Philly, Det and minn...
Steelers will get Rodgers maybe.
Ngl i feel like uncoverednfl is a terrible reporter lol
Trade Jaire for Max Crosby
Maybe Gute should draft better in early rounds. Could have Gonzalez over a bust like Van Ness
Packers GM sucks at drafting players
We need Jaire everybody has injuries and they get well. They come back better than ever so good bless Jaire Alexander ⭐️. You are strong. You’re gonna be all right.
😅
