The iconic singer, who at the time was 37, appears nervous and laughs, giggles and jokes his way through questions about molesting children in the astonishing footage dated March 1, 1996.
The video comes as a documentary, shown at the Sundance Film Festival, features Jackson's former child companions Wade Robson and James Safechuck claiming the star raped and sexually abused the pair during sleepovers at his Neverland ranch.
In Leaving Neverland, Robson and Safechuck reveal lurid details of how Jackson allegedly groomed them before engaging in sexual acts.
DailyMailTV's newly obtained video footage spanning hours shows Jackson being grilled over the claims and highlights his extremely odd reactions to the serious allegations.
The disturbing footage shows Jackson giggling just seconds after he was questioned on the molesting allegations against youngsters Macaulay Culkin, Jordan Chandler and Brett Barnes - the trio who were regular visitors to Jackson's Neverland ranch.
The video sees Jackson squirm and uncomfortably shuffle in his seat as he was deposed by an attorney over the child sex abuse allegations as part of a lawsuit filed by five Neverland employees against Jackson for wrongful dismissal.
It remains the one and only time the superstar singer was questioned on camera about his alleged deviant ways - and his reactions, just like his life, were bizarre.
In 1995, Jackson ducked a court grilling after giving $20 million to Chandler not to testify against him in court.
He also refused to take the stand in the Gavin Arvizo case in 2005.
But in this video the star has no choice but to be quizzed over the abuse allegations.
The three hours of VHS tapes were filmed as part of a lawsuit by five Neverland employees against Jackson for wrongful dismissal.
The group - who became known as the new Jackson 5 - asked their lawyer to cross examine Jackson about his behavior and management practice at the ranch.

Once Evan Chandler got what he wanted he seemingly stopped cooperating with authorities. However, following the settlement, the criminal claims against Jackson were brought to two grand juries by the L.A. district attorneys. Neither one would indict him. After 400 witnesses, they were left with the principal accuser (Jordan) who again, refused to testify.
After all was said and done, Jordan received legal emancipation from his parents and would later file a restraining order against Evan, citing being struck in the head with a weight, being pepper sprayed & choked as a reason.

I think a good thing for folks to do is look at interviews from the Jackson kids when they speak about their childhood, and then compare it to other famous former childhood performers as; those who had stable childhoods with caring parents tend to be stable as their careers grow, it's the individuals who had unstable and or abusive homes who tend to become so unstable in their private lives, it ends up impacting their careers.

The headline was misleading. Never, during this clip of the deposition, did the lawyer ask if he was a pedophile. That being said, I viewed this video with an open mind that he could be guilty.. but that isn't what I saw at all. MJ claimed he saw children as innocent and to be cherished, NOT hurt. He said that all the time. It never wavered. Another statement he made often was that Christ blessed the little children and held them and walked with them. THAT being said... MJ also had chronic mental illness, I would bet he also had a god complex. If that was true then he was aligning his charity and wealth with how he depicted Christ and wanted to be like Christ, which is also what the religion demands. With THAT being said, I believe MJ was an easy target because he was so open about his love for children. He was mentally stunted in maturity, and that is what made it awkward. People like to label, and if they don't understand, they will usually draw the worst conclusion and label it bad. I could be wrong, but him hurting kids, it doesn't add up. MJ was laughing in this deposition because of his stunted maturity, the lawyers were bickering, and he probably thought the situation was unbearably surreal. He was always, from day one, very candid about the accusations and his denial. Over and over again he told us EXACTLY why he is the way he is and why he would never hurt a child. Why does he have so many defenders while other celebrities get figuratively hanged? Because most of us saw an awkward man who wanted to give children the very best of what he had. He told us why a million times and it makes sense. Lies don't usually make sense. Was he strange? Yes, to most of us, but harmful... I just can't see it.
He seems determined to make a mockery out of those serious allegations. Laughing at the interviewer to make him think he is crazy, pointing out he is black and not gay to distract from the real issue at hand.

As a parent would you cooperate or focus on MONEY???? The criminal investigation included 2 GRAND JURIES, 1 in Santa Barbara and 1 in LA. They heard from over 400 Witnesses and they BOTH came back with NO EVIDENCE. There were NO OTHER VICTIMS. But Evan Chandler wanted to push his CIVIL LAWSUIT trial before the criminal trial, which would have created DOUBLE Jeopardy for MJ and violated his rights. That's why it made sense for MJ to settle but NOT for the Chandlers.
A Civil Trial is NOT about justice but MONEY. So if MJ and his legal team had presented evidence of his innocence including timeline, the Chandler would then know his DEFENSE and change dates and other information if MJ was ever charged. Although the Grand Jury came back with no indictment, the DA extended the statue of limitation for ANY victims to come forward to 1998. He even extended it further as MJ was out of the country on his History Tour, and the DA said he would not count that against his time.
With the settlement, the Chandlers COULD ALWAYS testify in a Criminal Trial if it occurred and it did in 2005. Now you know why Evan Chandler didn't show up??? Because the DRUGGING would have come out. So he stayed away. Jordy was telling friends IT NEVER HAPPENED.
