    The Beatles were the greatest band EVER. As far as the other bands, there were the The Beatles, and then there were everyone else. No other band had the presence they had, especially on stage. I saw them perform live in 1966, their last tour. The girls screamed so loud you couldn't even hear them playing. Unforgettable. Beatles Forever !!

      Where and when good sir? By any chance do you have photos of the show? How about a ticket stub?

    The mic for Paul and George was not turned up enough, for "SHE LOVES YOU.. I noticed that years ago when I first saw this video and taped it on my VCR. On "YOU CAN'T DO THAT," I always LOVED it when John messed up and forgot to do the 2nd verse, but when he saw Paul and George do their correct part, he realized that he was to be singing the next verse and not go to the instrumental break! He keeps looking over at George and Paul. SO YOU CAN IDENTIFY THEM in the future: PAUL McCARTNEY who is on bass (playing left handed) is ON THE LEFT SIDE of your screen....GEORGE HARRISON on LEAD GUITAR is IN THE MIDDLE.....JOHN LENNON on RYTHM GUITAR is ON THE RIGHT SIDE of your screen....RINGO STARR is on DRUMS. PAUL was the one doing all the announcing between songs.

    Can't go wrong with the Fab 4. The sound of my childhood. I grew up listening to them.

    Beatlemania! Watching Paul & George share the same microphone -- even when Paul was singing the lead -- caught me off guard at first. The little detail that was always there and yet previously unnoticed. Still, it just wouldn't be the same if they each had their own microphone. "She Loves You", "You Can’t Do That", "Twist and Shout", "Long Tall Sally", and "Can't Buy Me Love". "Twist and Shout" is a cover of a 1962 Isley Brothers hit and "Long Tall Sally" is a cover of the 1957 Little Richard classic. Roger Moore starred in a TV Show called The Saint, a British mystery spy thriller television series that ran in the sixties, before going on to star in several James Bond movies.

      It's absolutely true. Ironic though that the Beatle who wrote and performed the song (Paul) is now worth 1.2 billion dollars.

    The trouble is they do not have good feedback to hear themselves. Incredible crowd noise. Must have been so hard to sing.

    • @no834
      @no834 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's why they stopped playing live. The crowd was just screaming and nobody could hear the music.

      @@no834 Correct. What was the point? The girls were there just to go temporary insane.

    I see that this reaction is 1 year old so I'm coming to the party late. But for a great performance, there is their performance at Shea Stadium on TH-cam. Whoever taped it did a great job of decreasing the screaming to background noise and you can hear them clearly. And their performance is spot on, even though they couldn't hear each other.

    They're just so damned exciting live.The screaming fans are probably in their seventies now, I hope they see themselves in this clip to show to their grandkids.

    Oh my, it's been awhile since I've seen one of your actions and I don't know how to say this, but you are a beautiful human being from the top on down. I love your sense of humor and by the way if you were saying that your antenna was misbehaving meaning the signal crapped out for a minute, don't even worry about that. Do not worry about it. You are very mesmerizing and engaging and funny and intense. I have actually seen this footage before but it's been a while. And yeah the microphones weren't balanced and it was chaotic and all that. But it's still just a Priceless treasure to see this glimpse of the past. And I don't know without looking it up on Wikipedia how they are here but I think it's around that time where George Harrison is the baby of the bunch so he might have been 19 and then Paul and John might have been like 22 or something or maybe it was a year later than that. But anyway I find it fascinating and also Long Tall Sally is my favorite song of theirs from the early days. I just love it so much. There is a huge long story that goes with that for when they were the house band in a club in Hamburg germany. But I won't go into it now. At any rate, thank you so much for another wonderful and lovely reaction. You really are a light into this world. 😀

    Fay I love love this reaction video❣️ you look like you were have a great time. This was early Beatles George was 20 and was the youngest not sure of the rest . Today Paul McCartney is 80 years old still doing concerts. and Ringo who was the oldest is 82 today.
    Roger Moore would become James Bond’s 007 in the 70’s in fact the first time in that role by coincidence Paul McCartney would write the title of the movie song “ live and let die” great song and great movie 😊❤️

    No monitors, no mike... Beatles continually undermined in those days by poor sound set-up.

  • @nozecone
    @nozecone 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just listened to their first song, 'She Loves You' - I've never heard their vocals sound so out of tune - maybe they couldn't hear themselves .... And, of course, the melody varies from that of the record; much of it seems to be on a lower third (for you musicians out there), which is less effective, IMO. First time I've seen musically-weak Beatles performance.

    • @braudabo
      @braudabo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's correct. "She loves you" doesn't quite hit the spot here, but the rest is smokin' hot rock ('n'roll).
