Just wanted to let you know. I have appreciated you having CC on your videos. I lost my hearing a few months ago and you have helped with that. I had my first CI surgery about 3 weeks ago and I am able to hear you again! You have made me want to hunt ducks so much. Sadly don’t have the opportunity to do so. Thanks for the fire content!
Hey bob, if you want to stop the snakes, cover the wire with small hardware cloth that snakes can’t get through, and cover holes, just make sure there’s nowhere that a snake can get in through
Come on Bobby!!! I know I gave you an idea of putting a wire hinged door on the main door of your pigeon loft. A pair of wire cutters, a few wire ties and about 10 minutes of your time and the door issue would be solved!!!
Hey Bobby! You should build a second entrance hallway type deal to the pigeon coop right in front of the door, that way you walk in and shut the door behind you, then open the main door. If any fly out they’re still inside that first door and can’t fly away.
Hardware cloth is what I use for my pigeon aviary. This keeps out any rodents or reptiles that could harm my birds. I also throw several mothballs around the exterior of my aviary to detour snakes. Absolutely the pigeon trapping and other pigeon content for me! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
For bait bird, I would train a couple homer that knows how to come back home if it escapes from the trap it returns from instead of using the new bird for bait. So you wouldn’t lose a new bird.
Pigeon videos are great. Try some sulfur around the bottom of the cages to keep out the snakes. I used to sell it at the hardware store for those not fond of Mr. No Shoulders.
Why do you not use a smaller mesh screen to keep the snakes out. If they can get there head in its free eating. Even window screen will work and still provide air flow.
Have you ever considered using a simple burlap sack to transport your caught birds rather than a bucket. I understand that they are a bit easier on the pigeons and they are less likely to hurt themselves. But I've never done it myself so that's why I'm asking.
In downtown Houston, you can put some seed out and just pick up the ones you want. I did this year's back but one got out of my bag on the metro bus. Was pretty hilarious.
You did catch a ( HOMER PIGEON ) the all black white flight pigeon is a Homer pigeon but the owners never banded it or is a cross homer with a common pigeon. Great trapping video I enjoy watching you trap them
As far as baiting a traps I would try sunflower seeds they’ll probably eat those a little bit better it’s on top of green but the sunflower seeds have to be the inside of the sunflower seeds not the whole seat itself just a suggestion
Bobby, if you put light weights on the homemade traps bars they might not get out once in. You will not be able to use a lot of weight, experiment a little, and you may be able to keep using the trap. Also zip tie 4 bars down, 2 on each side, so the pigeons have less room to get out. Just a thought, it may help the viewer that made it if he is having the same issue
Hey my name is Sean Thompson I'm the groundskeeper at the Kansas Star casino down in mulvane Kansas wanted to know if you wanted to help me out and teach me some tricks to catch all these dang pigeons lol
Definitely make more pigeon trap videos more often and maybe even try it were you do tests like different food and male and females bait birds different traps all that home made vs shop brought est
You got a lot of space there just a suggestion I would expand your coop because overtime doesn’t matter how many you catch is still going to meet him on each other and that’s why your life is going to come from the Mating other ones that you already have
Bobby you should cut the wire in the coop. And put a wire door on it like the traps have. So you don't have to open the main door and lose birds. Put them in the coop just like you take them out of the traps.
Your homemade trap door way, cut out a square of wire mesh, and fix it on the door way so it makes one solid door, that should stop the bird walking back out, r if you don't want one big door was spit it into two flipping door ways.
as a note? since ALL pigeons in the usa are descended from domestic pigeons, and people do lose homing pigeons... any of those birds could be 'half' someone's racer that didnt go home
Bobby, what about putting a small, say 12” square, door in the enclosure so you don’t have to open the entry door when putting new new birds into the cage?
@@foxtrotcharlie8273 That would work even better, but I figured with all the irons Bobby has in the fire it would be simpler with the small door. Of course now he has Preston interested in pigeon trapping, who knows WHAT that enclosure might end up looking like!🤣
The one Pigeon with White Wing Tips Jordan is going to be Jealous . Take and Remodified the door and make a Sun Screen for the Top because a Father and Son did make the Trap and sent it to you .
I've always left 1 bird in and the water I'd hook to the side with a different type of jug cause those traps you have, having that big water jug takes up alot of space.
Maybe the other guy is taking your birds. I don’t think he would leave his trap there if he came back to check to see if there were birds in it without re-baiting it.
The pigeons trapping is my favourite. Thank you so much for coming through “Bobby”
Amazing👏🏼
Need a pigeon hunt soon Bob👊🏼
Wer dou you wer dou you live

Congrats My guy !!! God is good
Sheeew! Happy 4th brother
Happy 4th of July everyone!!!!!!!!
Hey bob, if you want to stop the snakes, cover the wire with small hardware cloth that snakes can’t get through, and cover holes, just make sure there’s nowhere that a snake can get in through
That’s easier said than done. A hungry snake will get in thru even a tiny opening.
@@j.rob.5943 True, but it definitely couldn’t hurt

@@mattmaly5085 lol... apparently!!!
The best in the world brother you never disappoint us ❤️💯❤️
I’m trying to get into pigeon trapping. These videos are awesome and quite helpful
Me to dood
Have you thought about putting a pigeon decoy in your trap and maybe a few silhouettes out near the trap!?
it doesn’t work. decoys are plastic…. very unnatural
Hey Bobby! You should build a second entrance hallway type deal to the pigeon coop right in front of the door, that way you walk in and shut the door behind you, then open the main door. If any fly out they’re still inside that first door and can’t fly away.
Do more pigeon trapping vids! i love them 😘😘
Love the pigeon trapping videos. Would love to see how your most successful traps are made.
Love the pigeon videos!!! Keep it up
Happy 4th of July my American brother. From your Canadian brother 👍👍👍👍

Great vid man. We are glad that trap works so well
heck yes man thank you guys so much for sending it again!!!
@@BobbyGuyFilms anytime man. He gets a kick out of seeing you use it.
You guys have a vid or something showing how to make that trap?
@@joshuaangel3441 my son bought it
Where? Please forgive my ignorance as I'm new to this all.

Could buy smaller mesh so the snakes can’t get in 🤷🏼♂️
Idk what it is about these pigeon trap videos but they always get me lol
The pigeon trapping videos are the best thanks
Me looking at the sweet cab over in the thumbnail
Love the pigeon videos!
The pigeon videos are my favorite.
Ready for some more trapping vids
Pigeon videos are great.
Try some sulfur around the bottom of the cages to keep out the snakes. I used to sell it at the hardware store for those not fond of Mr. No Shoulders.
where do you get the good traps? i havent been able to find any
Just a thought, a drawing for pigeon hunt would be kinda cool ya think?
I like the pigeon trap video keep the awesome content coming
I like the daily checking traps
Love the pigeon trapping vids keep em up!
Bobby can we get a pre season organization video?
Awesome. Been thinking about getting a trap and getting my local birds.
Thanks for the video
Keep on keeping on

I like this videos you can do more! 👌🇵🇹🇵🇹
Bobby!!!
A good video idea would be the process on getting the bands for the birds and banding the birds.
Have you ever considered using a simple burlap sack to transport your caught birds rather than a bucket. I understand that they are a bit easier on the pigeons and they are less likely to hurt themselves. But I've never done it myself so that's why I'm asking.
I recently saw a dark black pigeon with a single white bar. I know nothing, but if it's worth going after I'll get into it. The bird looked BA.
Good morning

Loving the pigeon vids!!
Finally backkk

Hey Bobby, if you take a minnow trap and put chicken eggs in it you can trap some snakes, just trying to help, have a great day, PEACE
I love the trapping videos they are absolutely awesome
If you prebait the spot before setting the trap you will catch more and faster. Also, try wheat seed. It's cheaper than corn generally.
👍 for the trading vids
As far as baiting a traps I would try sunflower seeds they’ll probably eat those a little bit better it’s on top of green but the sunflower seeds have to be the inside of the sunflower seeds not the whole seat itself just a suggestion
You should put up a trail cam
Bobby, if you put light weights on the homemade traps bars they might not get out once in. You should make a secondary door or entryway for your Pidgeon coop. That way you can walk in and not have to worry abut them getting out.
Bobby since you don’t let your pigeons fly freely make sure you are adding new birds to your loft to prevent in-breeding
Get the bird with white wing as you pet bird. It looks like a racing pigeon
Hey my name is Sean Thompson I'm the groundskeeper at the Kansas Star casino down in mulvane Kansas wanted to know if you wanted to help me out and teach me some tricks to catch all these dang pigeons lol

Excellent channel!
Love the trapping
Bobby you should cut the wire in the coop. And put a wire door on it like the traps have. So you don't have to open the main door and lose birds. Put them in the coop just like you take them out of the traps.
Im good with some off season pigeon trapping bud.
Keep up the great content.
we love your videos
15th 💓💓💓🕊️🕊️🕊️
Your videos are very cool
Love the video brother keeping them coming
I'd ask ol Flair if he wants a few pigeons for training his pup.
You should put springs on the opening to the homemade cage so it’s even harder to open it from the inside
You should make another video where you got your first birds
Your homemade trap door way, cut out a square of wire mesh, and fix it on the door way so it makes one solid door, that should stop the bird walking back out, r if you don't want one big door was spit it into two flipping door ways.
Put small piece of papper etc in door frame near bottom. If the door has been opened since you were there you will KNOW it and its free.
You might be able to fix/ change the trap door! ?
U should put that black podgeon in there with the tame birds hes beautiful
What do you do with all the birds you catch??
Put a separate door into the loft to make it easier to put birds into the loft so the other birds don’t escape
I like these videos
He was definitely a homing pigeon. I can tell from his beak and body. You should’ve kept that one.
Can you not layer your coop with finer meshing to keep the snakes out?
The first one I caught in my trap was banded!!! Thanks for the tips
And your new trap is identical to mine!
as a note? since ALL pigeons in the usa are descended from domestic pigeons, and people do lose homing pigeons... any of those birds could be 'half' someone's racer that didnt go home
That black bird is a homer without a band I would keep him as a breeder
Hey Bobby
Still have a great trapping spot here in Hutch that you are welcome to if you want. Just DM me or something if you're interested.
Where do you buy these traps?
Bobby, what about putting a small, say 12” square, door in the enclosure so you don’t have to open the entry door when putting new new birds into the cage?
Or a screened in porch?
@@foxtrotcharlie8273 That would work even better, but I figured with all the irons Bobby has in the fire it would be simpler with the small door. Of course now he has Preston interested in pigeon trapping, who knows WHAT that enclosure might end up looking like!🤣
Put straw in the cages for your birds to make there nest with.just put it on the ground the pigeons will gather it up by themselves
The one Pigeon with White Wing Tips Jordan is going to be Jealous . Take and Remodified the door and make a Sun Screen for the Top because a Father and Son did make the Trap and sent it to you .
Great video
? wheat or other grain harvest nearby right now?
Awesome
I've always left 1 bird in and the water I'd hook to the side with a different type of jug cause those traps you have, having that big water jug takes up alot of space.
Bob, Spray some diesel fuel around you coup on the dirt. Do not light it ! let it soak in. The fumes will keep snakes away.
Maybe the other guy is taking your birds. I don’t think he would leave his trap there if he came back to check to see if there were birds in it without re-baiting it.
You should keep the black pied bro
why dont you put smaller gauge wire netting on your loft to stop the snakes.
