    This is the best video for sprinkler installation on youtube! I am an irrigation contractor and I am impressed that finally there is something worth watching if you want to do this yourself!

      Did he even install a vacuum breaker of any kind? His valves are all in-lines.

      Then you're a terrible "irrigation contractor" if you think this is great. I bet you have to revisit previous installs quite a bit to fix all the problems. I wouldn't lay claim to this for ANY amount of money. Shameful is what it is.

    "A medium head rotates finger things"? Hope I misheard that. You mean, MP, as in matched precipitation LOL. Btw, classifying those heads as large medium and small is the silliest thing I've ever heard. There's a whole world of differences between SPRAY heads and ROTARY heads, including nozzles, which it looks like they bought prenozzled....?

    • @brandonchappell8545
      @brandonchappell8545 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If they space the heads based on the nozzle then there's nothing to worry about, it's not golf course irrigation where nozzle selection is that critical

    I am a sprinkler cotractor that pex line is a cheep way to go for 2 reason you can use a trencher puller to pull the line it doesn't last long and very thin use pvc

    • @macsrule94
      @macsrule94 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thats not pex that black poly pipe, pex is thicker and doesn't leak like crazy, pex is legal to use for water service to a house. PEX costs more than regular thin wall PVC and poly he used is even cheaper (PEX Is 36 cent a foot, PVC is 19 cent and that shit is less than 10.)

      @@macsrule94 I used poly pipe when I installed my irrigation system I in1989 I have 12 zones. I've never had a pipe burst or leak and I live in Northeast, Ohio where we have cold winters but not as bad as some other places I know. I always that extra care blowing out the individual lines for winterizing. infact I blow them out twice. Having a large volvome of air is the critical and watching and waiting till only air is exiting the head is second. I've had a lot of valves, coils, heads, and leaks on the flex extensions problems. The only pipe problems I had are dig-ins, my wife was doing me a favor and tried to plant a rose bush over top of a main run and the cable company rerouted there line when they installed a new fiber-oppotic line and cut the same run again. They weren't difficult to fix after everything dryed out.

    Why’s everyone saying this is a bad install? I don’t get it, and why do people not like poly pipe? That’s basically what all residential irrigation systems use in our area
