I'm taking the class through Preppy now and it's so nice to have it online! It's not easy, and a lot of note taking to make sure everything get stuck in my head but it's SO worth it!!
I just saw the video by preppy. Is it legit and is it worth it? Im still scouting where to enroll online. Can you give me some feedback?
@roserante7057 it is very worth it mainly because of the externship after, with all the NOW Hiring (but not really hiring) it will be good to know that's going to be there when I finish. The first part is all anatomical so we know the proper words that will be used. The rest, so far, is a more condensed versions of a few books. You also get the Coding Books or keep them as ebooks (their 3 inches thick!!) And a laptop if you pay it all at once. You CAN do it all on your own but if youre not so self motivated(Im not), then it's good to have it broke down in smaller chunks that are easier to manage. I hoped that helped!
Is the book also included on the price? Im quite hesitant bec of the price with free laptop im not sure if this is legit?
Also is this like reading part of training or is there someone speaking and explaining?
@roserante7057 there is a short video at the beginning of every lesson but it is short and very quickly covers what is in there. I'm not sure if you can set up text to speech or find an audiobook of what's needed.
Struggling to pass the exam. Tried once and failed by five points. 😭 Trying to study more and hopefully will get it on the second try.
Same. Failed by 3 points and was so bummed! I haven’t tried again but I’m thinking about it.
@@RobinNatural1 don’t give up! I think we just have to keep doing those practice tests until we get maybe an 80 score then I’d say we will be ready. Good luck to you !

Took the test 5 times... I have test anxiety and adhd. I know the material but I keep freezing and second guessing myself. Always 3 to 4 points off. You all will pass the next time.
@@thankfulforlife2228 I know how that feels I have a bit of test anxiety as well. I know some questions I was blanking on even though I knew I knew the answer already. I will keep trying though and thanks for sharing!
Hey Victoria, would you consider doing a practice video for embolization/occlusion and catheter placements CPT coding? Love your videos, this channel has helped so much I can't even express how thankful I am for you uploading haha
I'm currently going through the AAPC for a CPC / CPB certifications. Your channel has been a HUGE help while I'm learning! Unfortunately I'm having a really hard time studying for certain sections, for example I can't seem to get my head around CPT coding for embolization/occlusion and catheter placements. For anyone thinking about going this same route: it really is worth it to spend a little bit more and get the course that has an instructor! I'm a huge penny pincher and am definitely suffering for it now haha

I’m sure you talked about this, but is the exam included with Preppy? Or do we have to pay for it from AAPC?
Because not everyone that goes through the Preppy program plans on sitting for a certification or a certain certification, it is not included to keep the cost affordable to the widest range of people. You must pay for AAPC membership and exam fee separately.
