Great to see a new video from you! I also just built up a v4.1 A-Type wolverine thanks in part to your videos. I went with the microshift sword 2x10 groupset. If you did the alfine 8 hub microshift does have a pair of drop bar levers for them you could try.
Thanks for watching this one! I knew someone would give me solution to the geared hub/drop bar problem. Thanks for that! I’m pricing out Alfines now and looking at those shifters at microshift’s website now.
I have the blue on black one from a few years ago. I’ve got it set up with cowchipper drops, blue gravelking SK’s, sram rival drivetrain. Whiskey stem and seat post, topped off with a jack rack for grocery store runs. I plan on touring the divide with it next year!
Awesome to see you back , been a while. Could an Alfine hub be shifted by a bar end shifter ? Enjoy the holidays and have a happy new year! Cheers
Great see you back doing videos
@@ericsrideguide9821 thanks! More to come!

Would love to see you do a video with an alfine hub with belt drive.
I’m looking at Alifines tonight. 100% going to do this!
joe let me ride his big wheel when he was 5, and drive his rubicon when he was older than 5. now i hope he lets try the belt drive and the canoe.
I’m pretty sure that big wheel was a was yours before I got it and that plastic front tire had a flat spot in it from drifting it 🤣
Just finished my soma Wolverine yesterday! Went with a chain drive chain for now.
Nice! What does your build look like? What type of riding are you planning?
