Hugh Dancy on MasterChef Maroc

For the #HughDancy #Fannibals who have not seen him in the MasterChef Maroc episode, which was released in March 2019 and is not viewable in the US, I have edited the two hour plus episode into a short edit which includes only the shots where you can see his face or he speaks!

It's not too random.😃 He was in Morocco for almost a year while his wife, Claire Danes, was filming the last season of Homeland. I think they might have become friends or friendly with one of the chefs, as they were on his Insta.

I had no idea that his wife’s show took place in Morocco either.
Maybe it was for a temporary season.
I must say… Hugh would look good in an Arabic setting 😍
I just have this visual in my head with Hugh sitting on soft red cushions with various colors of oil lamps around him 💀

Just now found this episode, here's a rough translation starting at around 0:11 ...
The host asked Hugh to tell a little more about himself. Something along the lines of...
Host: "You're an actor from America in Morocco, yes?"
HD: "Like you said, I'm an actor, British, actually, but I live in the United States. I work in theater, film, television, all of that, and uh...I like to eat." [Everyone laughs.]
H: "That's the most important."
[On the 1st dish]
HD: "I liked it very much, the presentation was excellent, and the taste of each ingredient, very well. Overall, I hoped the sauce with the saffron, right...(?) Together, I lost a bit of [...] , if that's how you say it? And the foccacia is a little lost, but I liked it a lot."
Okay so I only missed one word but yeah that should be it

Shouldn't be too much of a surprise 🤨 🤨 knowing that he attended Oxford. I think taking a foreign language is a requirement in order to attend a university. Also I think he married Claire Danes in France in 2009.
