In PH Diagram isentropic compression line is drawn curve line. So i request to watch my video of basic of ph diagram.i t is available in playlist then go in vcrs. When we draw isentropic line for small compression ration then it will look like inclined straight line. When we draw for large compression ratio then it will look like curved line. When you plot ph diagram for different refrigerant means using different ph diagram like R 12 ,R134 a ,Ammonia .pressure range(scale in y axis) is different in different PH Diagram.so some time it look like inclined straight line.
