Thanks for watching! We had a wonderful time on our Viking River Cruise, but of all of the stops my most memorable and favorite day was cruising down the Middle of the Rhine and taking in all of the beauty of the landscape and castles. I hope you enjoy the video and please give me a LIKE and also leave your comments. You are always invited to join in on the fun by subscribing to the Port of Indecision!🙂

When I lived in Frankfurt, (West -- at that time) Germany (1982-1986), my favorite wine was from the Franken Region of Germany. The wine was bottled in a "bocksbeutel", which is dark green in color and uniquely shaped, as a flattened ellipsoid. I recall that the same shaped bottle was used for Mateus wine (circa 1970's), from Portugal.

My favorite wine from Germany is from the Franken region. It is bottled in a "bochsbeutel" -- a dark green rounded bottle that is very unique.
I haven't tried that but will look for it on my next trip to Germany.

Thank you for the description! I will definitely keep my eye open for it.
