She was about 15 feet from the room where X and E were killed. Their door was open and they were on the floor. She never sued the restroom from 4 am to 12 noon and when she went downstairs she walked right by them. This story has gaps a mile wide in terms of it not making any sense.

You are not going to get every detail of the crime. It's early in the process. They'll still discover more. ABC News has a time line and the details that the police put out. I think it's dated Jan 5th 2023. It was pretty detailed. Wait til trial to get answers. I believe Dylan was confused and very frightened. If those students all used drugs, it might have made her hesitate to call police. One good reason not to use drugs! But what kid is going to listen to reason? Why have we heard nothing on Bethany?

@@kaesoo33 they weren’t only stabbed, unfortunately. So as much as it would be a comforting thought to think that they felt no pain, it’s just not logical. Apparently Kaylee was beaten very badly, and her face was unrecognizable. Hopefully she was gone before that had taken place, but we just don’t know. I pray for their families, and for their souls. I pray they are resting in peace, and that they get the justice they so badly deserve!!♥️

🚩🚩CORRECTION!!!! Roommate (Dylan) was on 2nd floor, it clearly states it in the affidavit, although I know a lot of people got confused over their 1st read through. I know that you mean to have all the facts and I see that you highlighted that the roommate was on the 1st floor in the video. This is something the police lied to us about.. or whoever confirmed that over the media did, at least. I have the affidavit for anyone that wants it but I'm assuming Olivia or Betty are gonna do a live and give it out so everyone can check all the facts and go over to see what's been missed by someone else. clearly that's an easy thing to have happen while I've noticed only 50% at most of the channels I watch have noticed the 2nd floor bit for Dylan.
Don't tell me she was in a state of shock and therefore went to her room and did not come out until 11 AM. Little kids who witnessed horrific crimes have enough sense and bravery either to run and tell a neighbor or call 911.

That roommate is lucky to be alive, any other serial killer would’ve killed her for opening the door. Me personally I would not have open the door at all. That’s probably what got Ethan & Xana killed. I would stay silent & listen quietly & texted someone to call the police. But again none of this matters.

I feel like she made that statement thinking she should have been scared but she’s mis-stating. When she saw him she probably just thought who the heck is this weird friend of Ethan and Xana’s, I don’t know why he’s dressed like that but as long as he’s leaving…. Then the next morning she realizes who he was and is embarrassed she should have notified someone and covers up with I was scared stiff.

I'm confused ... Roommate heard and saw ALL THAT , and then went to sleep? woke up to THAT , called some friends and THEN 911? I'm sorry, but WTF?! ...HELP or *paramedics could've gotten there in time to hopefully save someone. Maybe they are telling us a delay occurred in the 911 call or reporting as it may be somehow connected to BK returning to the scene. The affidavit states his phone pinged there about 9am. And remember a neighbor saw the front door standing open. There’s a reason they haven’t released the 911 call at this point, too. New York Times has the full 19 page affidavit in PDF if anyone hasn’t found it yet, btw. And remember, this is probable cause to arrest him. That’s all they have to show is probable cause to arrest.

A pattern? I feel like this person has to have had easy access to the house, the girls. Clearly knew the house. I’ve been confused with doors at my friends house no matter how many times I’ve been there. I open the wrong door for the bathroom 😂😂 Kaylee and Ethan were not supposed to be there. Xana gets this door dash at 4 a.m. she is in her phone at 4:12 commenting on TikTok. So if Maddie was the intended target, I wonder if Kaylee heard a commotion in Maddie’s room, went in and saw what was going on and tried to help her. Xana goes to put her bag in the kitchen after eating and throws it after seeing something. I always found the bag in an odd place and the knocked over plant. She runs towards her room, Ethan laying in bed jumps up as xana is followed into the room. There’s no where to go because the room is small and these guys are at the door. They are not expecting Ethan there so one goes after xana and the other Ethan. The front door was said to be open from a neighbor who said she saw it open between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. so could it be possible they used front and back to get out? Multiple people are seen running in the background on bodycam footage. Multiple vehicles and people are heard and seen on Linda lane footage as well.

The roommate was not on the 1st floor. The affidavit says Dylan was on the 2nd floor. That's why he walked by her and towards the slider. She wouldn't have seen him walk towards the slider from the 1st floor. I believe the media was just told they both were on the 1st floor originally, so the suspect at large wouldn't think they had seen him and go after them. The Affidavit cleared this up and said Dylan was asleep on the 2nd floor in the Southeast bedroom.
I just thought of something... His phone pinged in the area again later that morning (8:30/9 if i am not mistaken) It was reported that the front door was open. Did he go back in the house?!?! Because Dylan saw him go out the sliding glass door....
It was one of the second floor roommates who witnessed perp and was able to describe him to cops. Dylan's room was on the second floor, not first. It's a misconception that has almost all TH-camrs confused. The empty bedroom on FIRST floor holds a set of golf clubs, air mattress and other male items, known to be personal belongings of the landlord's son. See Truth and Transparency (and Plunder cited T & T as well): She discovered this information and hypothesized that Dylan's room was the second bedroom on 2nd floor. There are pictures of her in her bedroom that match/align with the layout of the second bedroom on the second floor. She heard X bc their bedrooms were on the same floor. Again, Truth and Transparency did a deep dive video on this weeks ago.
I believe he revisited the scene later that morning in attempt to locate his missing sheath. It would also explain why the front door was left open. Surely they must also have footage of him back in the area around 9am?

@agnetha2012 the strange thing is , why did he feel so confident returning to the crime scene in full daylight , after he came 'face to face' with the surviving victim. DM described his eyebrows so that to means that they were close enough & enough light to see or feel someone in the same room or area. I really hope investigators have enough proof to clear this witness, completely 🤦♀️
His parents just threw 100+k down the drain, paying for his studies. He was one of best student ever, the professor said. Why he would put all that effort in to his studies, for then to throw it all away, is beyond me.

Because of this, I lock my bedroom door every single night and even bought a 2nd lock (a security chain) to put on it. We always lock our doors and windows (we live in downtown Las vegas) but now I also have the 2 locks on my bedroom door. It's a shame that we need to be afraid to sleep in our own beds cuz people are crazy. It had never occurred to me before this to actually keep my bedroom door locked too. It's scary to think this could and does happen to people all the time. I just don't understand why he killed only those 4 but not the other 2. I always thought he must not have known they were in the house but obviously he had to have known, he walked right past the one girl! And I don't understand why she didn't do anything when this happened instead of waiting for like 10 or 12hrs or whatever it was. Not judging, just always wondered.
He stalked the home on 12 different occasions before Nov 12, 2022, and took his phone each time. When he decided to carry out the murders, he flipped to airplane mode, which ends any cell towers transmission. Who carries a knife sheath and does not wear it on their belt? The roommate witness statements are quite puzzling.
Love your Video's Olivia. I believe Bryan went to the state of Washington when he first left Pennsylvania to kill. Not to get a degree for a career. He wanted to be far away from home to commit these murders. He didn't think he would get caught. He isn't smart he is stupid.

Hi Olivia, thank you for your hard work!🙏🏼 Just to clarify a logistical error in regards to DM’s bedroom location in your video… DM’s bedroom that night was actually on the ‘second floor’ SE bedroom (right under Maddie’s room)… it’s states second floor SE bedroom on affidavit page 4 that you shared. Hence why she heard and saw things and the roommate on the first floor below the living room, did not. Kaylee & Xana’s bedrooms were located on the SW side of the house (security camera side). That lower bedroom on first floor on the SW side appeared to be used for storage ie; golf clubs etc… you may also want to adjust your house floor plan map of who’s bedrooms were where just to clarify so folks aren’t confused as for so long we all thought that both the surviving roommates were on the first floor which we learned in affidavit was not so. I Just wanted to let you know once I read the affidavit then saw your house diagram & heard you speaking about the girls’ bedroom logistics in the video. It now also makes more sense as to how she heard & saw stuff. Many thought it was the other way until the affidavit cleared that up. Happy new year, keep up the great work! Cheers!

I hope that people are always around those girls to let them feel safe. If I was in that situation I don't know how I would react. But I don't think she will publicly say what she saw and why she froze. If I picture that night in my head it's scary. Then I don't want to know what Dylan saw. Maybe its me, but I think people are misunderstanding when Kaylee says someone is here. She isnt talking about the killer. She is talking about the door dash guy, because she didnt know that Xana had ordered food. That would be normal if someone knocked on the door and you were not expecting someone, you would call out, someone is here. Look at the timeline. Dylan first hears Kaylee say someones here, then she hears Xana crying and then she hears sounds from upstairs that she thought was kaylee playing with dog. So, in that order, Kaylee yells and then Xana gets the food, Killer comes in attacks Xana and Ethan, then goes upstairs and attacks the other 2. Walks back to the 2nd floor and meets Dylon almost face to face as his foot prints show, then he turns she said and WALKS out the door. Really? The guy just kills 4 people, upon leaving her runs into another girl that can give police discription, which she did or she can call 911, but you decide not to touch her. I dont buy her story completely. He didnt have to go down to the first floor, because she was in the empty room on the 2nd floor and the dog was locked into Kaylee room upstairs on the third floor, barking so loud it could be heard at the neighbors house, but Dylan didnt hear it barking?? SMH

To walk out the glass door he would of had to walk within 3 feet of her as he was going to the kitchen area. 3 Feet!!!! Then maybe you can understand thing thinbgs that are backing up my story. In my opinion, based off delivering door dash myself, 99% of people request you leave their food at the front door. If Xana was on her phone like it says she was, doordash sends notifications, like your food has been picked up and driver is on their way. Then also when it is delivered. I feel like she would have been aware. Unless Kaylee saw headlights and yelled someone is here? and it's odd the affidavit doesn't say Xana or anyone else responded to her saying that. Like oh okay thanks it's just my delivery, etc. Also I believe the affidavit did say Dylan heard the dog barking and that's why she thought they were playing with him.

I don’t understand why that eye witness didn’t choose to call 911 until the next day? For all she knew in this version the victims might have been alive but wounded. If you see a “ masked intruder “ in your home do you not report it as soon as possible? My only question is why then after the friends arrived in the morning did other kids in the area know about what happened by around 9am and why after friends arrived did it take another 3 hrs to call the police?
Why wouldn't she go check on her room mates it dosnt make sence. Or atleast phone the police and say there had been someone in the house. Yes I think Brian was watching for hrs days to be honest, once he realised they were looking for a white elantra is when he took off across country. His dad had to know 1. about the 4 murders.. 2. Also about the police looking for a white elantra. When they were pulled over and brian says they are going to get thai and his father said where they were heading and actually where they came from and the glare he gave his dad but I honestly feel his dad was trying to let the cop know. If Dylan was frozen in shock it would explain why 911 wasnt called, but after she called friends over in the morning, why did other people know about the murders before the police at 9am and what were they doing for 3 hrs in the house before the police were called at noon?. Yeah that doesn’t scream set up. Just leaving sheath next to victim on her. Just laying there. So Xana called for door dash? At 4 am? Did the food delivery person say it’s ok I’ll help you. How would they not see each other? That would give Bryan 8 minutes to do crime. And then he was seen walking out sliding glass door by roomate? But there is no blood outside? Where are his bloody clothes and shoes? Is his car covered in blood? Did he go clean it? How can a major in criminal law who has re-enactments of crime scenes and how to find clues and perps just leave a knife sheath with his finger print on metal part? It didn’t fall off in struggle it wasn’t under a body or on floor as he walked not ran according to roommate out door but just laying there on bed. Why did the car expert that has been doing this for decades not know what year car is? That’s his specialty yet there was a gap from 2011-2016 in age of car. And it just happens that car in that color has how many? 20k in Idaho? Bryan knew there were cameras if he planned this out for a month but he just drove there snd then drove around the crime scene and around town with no care. Also did they track those many accounts that were talking about the murder like they knew exactly what happened. Leaving knife sheath and knew the car and saying he was hiding in PA to his computer?? With his face as profile pic and his eyes as pic on the other account. This doesn’t seem crazy that a guilty person would say where he is and what he did. This seems like a set up to me.
Also why would he apply at the police force there if he wanted to commit murder. He would have for sure had to give his fingerprints and full screening to do that. Seems he would want to stay on the low. Parks his Elantra right in front of his apt when it’s all over news of everyone looking for white Elantra. Actually in news it was said to be a 2011- 2013 I guess that expert in knowing cars screwed up there but in affadavit it says 2011 to 2016. Make sure and get Bryan’s year of car 2015 in there since it was filed on dec 29th.
@@Luvumj2 I'm sure he had everything planned out, but he was having a thrill with it. And I would imagine his adrenaline was high. All the energy it took for him to take four lives he was bound to make a mistake for himself somewhere.. he may not have known he left the knife sheath there, but maybe realized it after, maybe that's why he drove back to King, but couldn't get the nerve to go inside and get it. And I'm glad he did leave it there. As far as the year of the car, it was probably intentional by LE/FBI to be a little off in the year of the car.. to make the killer think he's getting away with it by not giving the actual year of his car. They use many tactics to throw a criminal off. They did not want to panic him, and he really thought he was getting away with it. It's probably why he kept the car, but I'm sure he planned on eventually getting rid of it in PA. I don’t think it's a setup at all.. they did some really awesome detective work. And we will be finding out more as his case goes along. They just needed to give the main points that were enough to arrest him. The puzzle will be filled in eventually.

Wanted to touch on being "cleared" by police real quick. Sometimes it is just as it sounds, clear. But then again Gary Ridgeway "Green River Killer" was "cleared" more than once. So one just never knows. Just be careful before you slander someone.
Dunning Kruger. The "genius" stalked the place and had his cell on him every time. Couldn't even think to leave it home every time he went by that place. Then he leaves the sheath. Then he drives his door past four hundred and eighty Ring doorbell cams. Surprised he didn't just Uber and put their address in the app as the destination. Calls every show and goes on Reddit due to his hubris. All sympathy aside for the survivors: What? Huh? Those four bodies were lying there in that house for six hours before they called 9-1-1? Man my conspiracy nerves are tingling. Either they were afraid of cops finding their stash, or it was due to the nature of the party house always having randos over that they didn't take heed for the signs, were too wasted to notice for six hours (that's possible)? That part just makes me take pause.
It’s as if he wants to be caught. Even the night of the crime he leaves his house and then he dismantles or turns off the phone but he definitely moves his car first. Why not just leave it at home? Everyone know how pinging works I’m sure the genius he is would know this. This is an odd case for sure.

Dylan was on the second floor, the same floor as Xana and Ethan! Her room was on the second floor never on the first floor
She was about 15 feet from the room where X and E were killed. Their door was open and they were on the floor. She never sued the restroom from 4 am to 12 noon and when she went downstairs she walked right by them.
This story has gaps a mile wide in terms of it not making any sense.
They're not going to give all details until the trial. Why would they?

You are not going to get every detail of the crime. It's early in the process. They'll still discover more. ABC News has a time line and the details that the police put out. I think it's dated Jan 5th 2023. It was pretty detailed. Wait til trial to get answers. I believe Dylan was confused and very frightened. If those students all used drugs, it might have made her hesitate to call police. One good reason not to use drugs! But what kid is going to listen to reason? Why have we heard nothing on Bethany?

Apparently Kaylee was beaten very badly, and her face was unrecognizable. Hopefully she was gone before that had taken place, but we just don’t know. I pray for their families, and for their souls. I pray they are resting in peace, and that they get the justice they so badly deserve!!♥️

🚩🚩CORRECTION!!!! Roommate (Dylan) was on 2nd floor, it clearly states it in the affidavit, although I know a lot of people got confused over their 1st read through. I know that you mean to have all the facts and I see that you highlighted that the roommate was on the 1st floor in the video. This is something the police lied to us about.. or whoever confirmed that over the media did, at least.
I have the affidavit for anyone that wants it but I'm assuming Olivia or Betty are gonna do a live and give it out so everyone can check all the facts and go over to see what's been missed by someone else. clearly that's an easy thing to have happen while I've noticed only 50% at most of the channels I watch have noticed the 2nd floor bit for Dylan.
Don't tell me she was in a state of shock and therefore went to her room and did not come out until 11 AM. Little kids who witnessed horrific crimes have enough sense and bravery either to run and tell a neighbor or call 911.

That roommate is lucky to be alive, any other serial killer would’ve killed her for opening the door. Me personally I would not have open the door at all. All i have learned from this case is not to come to a judgment before ALL facts are present. probable cause affidavit is not all the facts.
I feel like she made that statement thinking she should have been scared but she’s mis-stating. When she saw him she probably just thought who the heck is this weird friend of Ethan and Xana’s, I don’t know why he’s dressed like that but as long as he’s leaving…. Then the next morning she realizes who he was and is embarrassed she should have notified someone and covers up with I was scared stiff.

Maybe they are telling us a delay occurred in the 911 call or reporting as it may be somehow connected to BK returning to the scene. The affidavit states his phone pinged there about 9am. And remember a neighbor saw the front door standing open. There’s a reason they haven’t released the 911 call at this point, too.
New York Times has the full 19 page affidavit in PDF if anyone hasn’t found it yet, btw. And remember, this is probable cause to arrest him. That’s all they have to show is probable cause to arrest.

I was wondering about the 12 times his phone pinged in the area. I feel like if he was stalking, it would be more than just 12 times. Were those pings in the wee hours of the morning every time? A pattern? I feel like this person has to have had easy access to the house, the girls. Clearly knew the house. I’ve been confused with doors at my friends house no matter how many times I’ve been there. I open the wrong door for the bathroom 😂😂 Kaylee and Ethan were not supposed to be there. Xana gets this door dash at 4 a.m. she is in her phone at 4:12 commenting on TikTok. So if Maddie was the intended target, I wonder if Kaylee heard a commotion in Maddie’s room, went in and saw what was going on and tried to help her. Xana goes to put her bag in the kitchen after eating and throws it after seeing something. I always found the bag in an odd place and the knocked over plant. She runs towards her room, Ethan laying in bed jumps up as xana is followed into the room. There’s no where to go because the room is small and these guys are at the door. They are not expecting Ethan there so one goes after xana and the other Ethan. The front door was said to be open from a neighbor who said she saw it open between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. so could it be possible they used front and back to get out? Multiple people are seen running in the background on bodycam footage. Multiple vehicles and people are heard and seen on Linda lane footage as well.

The roommate was not on the 1st floor. The affidavit says Dylan was on the 2nd floor. That's why he walked by her and towards the slider. She wouldn't have seen him walk towards the slider from the 1st floor. I believe the media was just told they both were on the 1st floor originally, so the suspect at large wouldn't think they had seen him and go after them. The Affidavit cleared this up and said Dylan was asleep on the 2nd floor in the Southeast bedroom.
It talked about Dylan being on the 2nd floor. So the map with showing Dylan room downstairs doesn't appear accurate.

It was one of the second floor roommates who witnessed perp and was able to describe him to cops. Dylan's room was on the second floor, not first. It's a misconception that has almost all TH-camrs confused. The empty bedroom on FIRST floor holds a set of golf clubs, air mattress and other male items, known to be personal belongings of the landlord's son. See Truth and Transparency (and Plunder cited T & T as well): She discovered this information and hypothesized that Dylan's room was the second bedroom on 2nd floor. There are pictures of her in her bedroom that match/align with the layout of the second bedroom on the second floor. She heard X bc their bedrooms were on the same floor. Again, Truth and Transparency did a deep dive video on this weeks ago.

I believe he revisited the scene later that morning in attempt to locate his missing sheath. It would also explain why the front door was left open. Surely they must also have footage of him back in the area around 9am?

DM described his eyebrows so that to means that they were close enough & enough light to see or feel someone in the same room or area.

Because of this, I lock my bedroom door every single night and even bought a 2nd lock (a security chain) to put on it. We always lock our doors and windows (we live in downtown Las vegas) but now I also have the 2 locks on my bedroom door. It's scary to think this could and does happen to people all the time. I just don't understand why he killed only those 4 but not the other 2. Hi Olivia, thank you for your hard work!🙏🏼 Just to clarify a logistical error in regards to DM’s bedroom location in your video… DM’s bedroom that night was actually on the ‘second floor’ SE bedroom (right under Maddie’s room)… it’s states second floor SE bedroom on affidavit page 4 that you shared. Hence why she heard and saw things and the roommate on the first floor below the living room, did not. Kaylee & Xana’s bedrooms were located on the SW side of the house (security camera side). That lower bedroom on first floor on the SW side appeared to be used for storage ie; golf clubs etc… you may also want to adjust your house floor plan map of who’s bedrooms were where just to clarify so folks aren’t confused as for so long we all thought that both the surviving roommates were on the first floor which we learned in affidavit was not so. I Just wanted to let you know once I read the affidavit then saw your house diagram & heard you speaking about the girls’ bedroom logistics in the video.
It now also makes more sense as to how she heard & saw stuff. Many thought it was the other way until the affidavit cleared that up. Happy new year, keep up the great work! Cheers!

Maybe its me, but I think people are misunderstanding when Kaylee says someone is here. She isnt talking about the killer. She is talking about the door dash guy, because she didnt know that Xana had ordered food. That would be normal if someone knocked on the door and you were not expecting someone, you would call out, someone is here. Look at the timeline. Dylan first hears Kaylee say someones here, then she hears Xana crying and then she hears sounds from upstairs that she thought was kaylee playing with dog. So, in that order, Kaylee yells and then Xana gets the food, Killer comes in attacks Xana and Ethan, then goes upstairs and attacks the other 2. Walks back to the 2nd floor and meets Dylon almost face to face as his foot prints show, then he turns she said and WALKS out the door. Really? The guy just kills 4 people, upon leaving her runs into another girl that can give police discription, which she did or she can call 911, but you decide not to touch her. I dont buy her story completely. He didnt have to go down to the first floor, because she was in the empty room on the 2nd floor and the dog was locked into Kaylee room upstairs on the third floor, barking so loud it could be heard at the neighbors house, but Dylan didnt hear it barking?? SMH

In my opinion, based off delivering door dash myself, 99% of people request you leave their food at the front door. If Xana was on her phone like it says she was, doordash sends notifications, like your food has been picked up and driver is on their way. Then also when it is delivered. I feel like she would have been aware.

They reported that the roommate was on the 2 floor and open the door 3 times. I don't know if that is true. I don't understand it, because she had plenty of time to dial 911.If this guy had planned this out the way everyone is speculating there's know way he would've left that house with her alive 😕 Something isn't right about this. If you see a “ masked intruder “ in your home do you not report it as soon as possible? I definitely would even if I didn’t have suspicions about him harming my roommate,just being there dressed like that is enough for me!And why after butchering 4 people would you walk right past a 5 th person & allow them to get a description of you & leave them unharmed to report you? I can understand that and calling a friend over in the morning to help check on the roommates because she was unsure or scared. My only question is why then after the friends arrived in the morning did other kids in the area know about what happened by around 9am and why after friends arrived did it take another 3 hrs to call the police?

If Dylan was frozen in shock it would explain why 911 wasnt called, but after she called friends over in the morning, why did other people know about the murders before the police at 9am and what were they doing for 3 hrs in the house before the police were called at noon?. I'm sure he had everything planned out, but he was having a thrill with it. And I would imagine his adrenaline was high. All the energy it took for him to take four lives he was bound to make a mistake for himself somewhere.. he may not have known he left the knife sheath there, but maybe realized it after, maybe that's why he drove back to King, but couldn't get the nerve to go inside and get it. And I'm glad he did leave it there. As far as the year of the car, it was probably intentional by LE/FBI to be a little off in the year of the car.. to make the killer think he's getting away with it by not giving the actual year of his car. They use many tactics to throw a criminal off. They did not want to panic him, and he really thought he was getting away with it. It's probably why he kept the car, but I'm sure he planned on eventually getting rid of it in PA. I don’t think it's a setup at all.. they did some really awesome detective work. And we will be finding out more as his case goes along. They just needed to give the main points that were enough to arrest him. The puzzle will be filled in eventually.

He may have thought he wouldn't be caught so easily.. but what he may not realize is these days, they look at anyone regardless of what line of work their in. And actually, there are many criminals that will seek out employment that they think will cover them up, or hide them, or that they would be the last to look at. He may have wanted it to look like a set up.. he learned his tricks in studying it. His plan to get away with the perfect murder.. he failed.

Wanted to touch on being "cleared" by police real quick. Sometimes it is just as it sounds, clear. But then again Gary Ridgeway "Green River Killer" was "cleared" more than once. So one just never knows. Just be careful before you slander someone.
Dunning Kruger. The "genius" stalked the place and had his cell on him every time. Couldn't even think to leave it home every time he went by that place. Then he leaves the sheath. Then he drives his door past four hundred and eighty Ring doorbell cams. Surprised he didn't just Uber and put their address in the app as the destination. Calls every show and goes on Reddit due to his hubris. All sympathy aside for the survivors: What? Huh? Those four bodies were lying there in that house for six hours before they called 9-1-1? Man my conspiracy nerves are tingling. Either they were afraid of cops finding their stash, or it was due to the nature of the party house always having randos over that they didn't take heed for the signs, were too wasted to notice for six hours (that's possible)? That part just makes me take pause.
It’s as if he wants to be caught. Even the night of the crime he leaves his house and then he dismantles or turns off the phone but he definitely moves his car first. Why not just leave it at home? Everyone know how pinging works I’m sure the genius he is would know this. This is an odd case for sure.
