    Cool little amp. Krazy all the stuff they are coming up with these days... night and day from when I was a kid. Some things still stay the same.. more gear wanted than I have money to burn :D Cheers!

    It’s getting to the point where you don’t need an amplifier anymore!! So many options to craft your tone nowadays it’s mind blowing! Sorry you didn’t have a reverb pedal to use on the demo!! 😜😆😎 Great review Shane! Cheers!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

    Great demo. Shane. 👌😎👍 Quite the little amp that could! I have to admit, I preferred the 412A tone a bit more, but that's so hard to compare in terms of in-room sound and post-TH-cam compression/clipping effects.

    Interesting Shane , thanks for the great sounding demo mate !

    I bought this exact same amp that Shane demos.
    Running a Tube Screamer into the front and a reverb pedal into the FX loop is AMAZING.
    It has replaced my Tube amps due to reliability,
    It works 100% of the time...tube amps....50%,,,,,SOMETIMES.
    Stamping on the boost for solos KILLS it.

    Sounds really good Shane, and seems versatile, however, the lack of dedicated clean/dirty channels can be a deal breaker. Other similar things have both!
    Still good for what it does.

    Shane that sounds great! I would look into it if I had a need of something like it for gigging, because of such a good job showing what it can do. Enjoyed your work.

    Nice sounding amp. For about 500 bucks, this isn't a bad deal. Thanks for showing it to us.

    that is a very nice sounding amp. just wondering, can you run without a cab and use di? it sounded pretty good di'd. did I miss price in Oz?

    Does have some decent tones in it.
    Shane, did you see the new four knob-edition of Joyo's Tai-Chi? I have bought it a few days ago and this pedal sounds impressive to me. I don't have a Zendrive to compare, but a J. Rockett's Dude doesn't make it seem bad

    Did you roll off the highs in post? Through my sennheiser headset, it almost sounds muted a little. I noticed the Amp highs were up about 2 o'clock.

      Same here, sound "Muffled" with no Cut.

      No i didn't touch anything at all. I used the Two-Notes Torpedo for the intro (because I forgot to film it at the time of shooting the demo) and the Marshall Cab for the rest. No post production ever on my vids.

      Agreed I'm using quality headphones and it sounds like it lacks a bit of crispness. Still it's fairly impressive for what it is.

    I like amp distortion but I also want to be able to crystal clean for country and jazz without fiddling knobs. They should have worked out a two channel preamp - foot switchable

    Okay first, I am baffled by your SE. I played one a couple weeks ago, one of the zebra wood topped ones. Man, it was sterile and weak sounding, and I felt like the controls were not versatile at all, like turning the volume down a little was like nearly turning it off. It was the opposite of your guitar in terms of warmth and clarity. So, you wanna sell yours? :)

    • @7e8dn3id

      Could have been over humidified

    • @jasong546
      @jasong546 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I suppose so. The pots though, and the switch felt like they were just poor quality, flimsy. I didn’t have that experience before. But yes it could have sounded poor due to a problem like that.

    • @larrimos
      @larrimos 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jason Guion are you sure the pickups weren’t in split mode. I know mine sounds completely different when split. Also mine was made in Korea, they are now made in Indonesia...may have something to do with it.

    • @jasong546
      @jasong546 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      larrimo s yes, that’s kind of why I commented, because the only position that sounded good was the neck humbucker, but the bridge and split positions just weren’t pleasant. I had an SE c22 semi hollow, and a DGT around 2013, and that SE sounded very nice. But I have not had a chance to play any custom 24 models, except like 2 of them and they didn’t sound as nice as Shane’s at all. Not terrible on the neck for the one I am talking about. But overall a cheap feeling and all. Maybe sometimes a poorly setup gets through, or, it had been on the wall for quite awhile. I won’t go off about the store, but they take the guitar out of the shipping box, hang it up on the wall, and they don’t take care of them, tune them clean them, no energy into keeping them nice so they may have allowed people to be rough with it and then just let it get that way. I hope to try a good one because I like the sound of Shane’s very much. Cheers guys
