      I do it the hard way. Your 2n1 stilh file is probably faster. I mentioned that and that my brain like the technical nature of the jig. But I cut it out I’ve never had sharper chains but I suck at filing. I also proved you don’t have to sharpen every use like everyone says. It did great til I decided to cut a tree on the riverbank and dinged the chain up on rocks. It is good to grease the sprocket and flip the bar often though.

      @@AbbyNormalGarage I need to grease the sprocket for sure. I thought the bar oil got to it …. I’ll have to make sure to grease that!

      @@Tennesseemountainhomestead the bar oil might! I’d always heard to grease them. I’ve done both and haven’t had one lock up. I never greased them growing up. But we only ran saws once in a blue moon. Scraping all the saw dust soaked oil out makes me wonder. How much gets where?
